Jennifer has been absolutely spectacular. She's so patient, kind, and attentive. It's such a nice change of pace to deal with someone who is professional and empathetic. Jennifer does a wonderful job at balancing her responsibilities to Cube Smart and her tenants. CubeSmart would stick true to its name if they were wise enough to hire more people just like her. Although I have yet to move out, Jennifer is the reason I will use CubeSmart again in the future, hoping to have the same secure and warm experience I have this time. I’ve been at CubeSmart @ Angel Pkwy and Stacy in Allen, TX since Summer of 2017. This facility is excellent for long term storage, My climate-controlled unit kept all of my items: Furniture, clothing, and personal items in pristine condition. The Allen site manager, Melinda, really stepped up to help me when I gave notice that I would be moving my stuff to a new apartment. I had to move everything by myself. That meant breaking down some large boxes and rebagging and reboxing every box. It took me 15 days to complete. In the beginning, I was concerned that I could not see inside my unit at night to move things out. I told Melinda and she came out herself with a ladder and installed 2 new fluorescent lights for me; and she helped me dispose of empty boxes. It was a pleasure working with such a caring person.

Our unit had water damage due to a roof leak. Apparently this is a common problem throughout the property. They only offer $5000 in insurance so dont store anything expensive if you dont have you're own coverage. For what they charge per unit I'd expect better. They get 3 stars because the management staff is exceptional. And the property is always clean.

She shows compassion and sincerity when helping navigate through the size of the unit, length of time etc. this is the best storage place I’ve ever been to and I’ve moved a handful of times! I moved from FL and arranged for a 10x10 to store what my movers couldn't put in our apartment. Movers took all day and we were late getting to cube smart - the movers struggled to stack it all in there and it wouldn't fit. It was 930pm and the gates lock at 10pm so I went up the back stairs and found their employee and they helped us get another unit to put the rest in. The office group is easy to work with too.

I had to move from an office this weekend and assumed I would move boxes, art and furniture home in advance of a move out of state in early 2020. However, to stage our house to sell, less is more. While I was at the office packing, my husband called to reserve a unit at this location. I arrived with packed SUV late in the day, but Russie and Sherry could not have been more accommodating. We looked at a couple of different size units and the sign up process could not have been faster or smoother. I got my belongings moved in and was home less than an hour later!

My sister and I just rented a unit at the Angel Parkway location in Allen. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and the manager, Russie, immediately warned us to be careful of the semi-wet floor. Russie was very thorough going over all the documents with us. She took us to view our new unit (which was nice and clean), and even though there haven't been any problems, offered to put some moth balls in our new unit to keep anything from coming in! Hello CubeSmart.. While I thought 3 rating with no words was best I'm also not one to not explain when asked. So I'm sorry for this ... Truly. Employees while I personally we're on site we're friendly. Not overly informative or helpful but did have a good demeanor about them. The situation as a whole however was horrible start to finish. I was on site helping someone who had rat infestation in their storage unit. While we can all understand and appreciate that acts of nature such as that happen the lack of care and help on behalf of the storage facility and corporate offices was incredibly sad to hear, worse to watch someone else go through. I personally tried to speak with someone on site and was told that management had already made a decision corporate had already been contacted. For several weeks she was forced to sort through her entire life that had been taken over by a family of large rats. I've had storage units in many different towns many different companies and while for larger items there usually is a fee I have never come across a company telling me know that I could not throw something away in a dumpster that's on site within driving distance of her unit I for her was completely appalled and outraged. The company did nothing outside of 100% adding to what's wrong with this facility. The cost of the exterminator, cost of the rat traps, cost of the bait, cost of extra men to move in hazmat like materials to get her furniture out of the storage unit was astronomical. Just to make sure that you are VERY clear in my frustration, it's the entire situation but added to this ...her husband, a man who died, the reason why all their belongings were in storage to begin with ... He was military. He gave his life for the U.S. Army. We checked each piece, bag, jackets & boots for chewed damage; I can only imagine how she felt! I went back after, I walked as far back as I could still see her unit; CubeSmart STILL had still done nothing to lay rat traps or any preventative measures. Being there, looking at more than the mess, I stand by saying the rats entrance point was NOT her upsliding door. ... Indicating they came from within\behind or a neighbor unit. Yet all expenses while she cleaned, CubeSmart did nothing to help her in the moment or prevent the same issue from happening for anyone else on site. While you may have pleasant smiles in your office, your policies\procedures, your responsibilities need drastic improvement! These are people with their lives literally in a box... How would YOU feel if you lost everything and had to put it in a storage facility only to come back and find that you lost it all a second time? How would YOU feel to come back and find your dead military husband's belongings covered in rat droppings and chewed through!? I'm not her I am not speaking on her behalf I'm speaking for myself only as to all I was witness both in person and on calls during. Additionally, as of the last time that I was there nothing had been done as a preventative measure to stop the overtake of rats for any other person renting in those units.

We used this center for 2 units for about 6 months during a move transition. We rented one larger outdoor unit and one smaller indoor temp controlled unit. Both worked out great. Very friendly and helpful staff, units were clean and well maintained. After much research we found the value/location tradeoff to also be good in the area, and the convenience of the location for us worked out well. Overall would highly recommend and use again in the future.

I ran into issues with my closing date being pushed back which affected my length of time renting the space with CubeSmart. The 4 stars is more of so so state, they helped me get information but I can't make it full as of yet due to not renting yet. I have not purchased their service yet so this is more of a review about how they treated me when I came in wanting to compare prices to other storage places. I came in at a time that was not super busy and it just so happen that manager was training someone who would manage another cubesmart manager at a different location. I had to wait for a second cause she answered the phone, and quickly apologized about the phone. They showed me the 2 different storage units as at the time those were the only 2 available. Other wise everyone wasn't rude but who knows maybe it was the time of day that I came. I will try and remember to update if I use their storage place.

Absolutely appalling service, I walked into the office to post some charity auction parcels and was told they would not serve me as they closed at 5pm, it was 4.45pm and there were 2 people in line. I asked 'so if I get in the line and wait and it's 5pm when I get to front you won't serve me?', the manager said 'that's right so it's up to you!'. I had posted there before many times but never been spoken to like this, although I had heard her be terse with others, I told her she knew me and that she was being extremely rude, that the post office closes at 5pm and whoever is in the office at that point should be served and the door closed at 5pm. She refused to serve me. As I walked out a lady in line gave me her card and told me to call her, and another lady outside told me she had also been extremely rude to her too which is what made me put my parcels in the car turn around and go and get her managers name and number. I called the lady who gave me her card afterwards and she told me she had not only done that to me but witnessed 2 other people be told to 'get out' they 'wouldn't be served'. I called and complained to the district manager who told me this wouldn't happen again and measures would be taken. Needless to say I won't be going back there any time soon and would rather drive the extra 10 miles to the next post office than deal with their rudeness. Absolutely disgusting!
