Delores was a pleasure to work with! She was always so helpful and had a great attitude. My only problem is you guys keep raising the prices so high. I got a 10 by 20 for 160. Then they raised it to 200 after 6 months. Then raised it again... I wouldnt have minded staying with you but Im not paying 250. Found a better one paying less for the same size than when I originally signed up. You want to keep customers right? Or are you trying to drive away people??? Not very smart for a company that has "Smart" in the title.

CubeSmart on 620 is a large, clean, secure property with excellent on site management and friendly customer service. The only thing that needs improvement is the doorways into the climate controlled units are not wheelchair accessible and impossible to get a cart over without brute strength because there is a two inch ledge.

Their rate goes up radically within a 30-day warning - since its a month-to-month deal, the rate can go up before 12 months. For instance: my rate went up over $30 in less than 6 months. Although staff is polite, they have no control over it and so are kind of worthless on that part. Also, I found a promotional price for a bigger unit that is the same price as my current smaller unit in the same location. As I was talking to them , they bluntly denied the promotional price due to me being a current client. It is almost as if they want to keep clientele on rotation.

My overall experience was positive with CubeSmart in terms of storing my items there. The units are clean and I had no issues over the course of the the four months I rented space there. But something unrelated to storage happened to me in a CubeSmart building and it was absolutely awful. CubeSmart does not have safety measures in place for when a transformer blows. I was in the building when a transformer blew in the neighborhood. I was on the third floor of a climate controlled building and was just about to enter the elevator when everything went black for almost an hour. I could not see my hand in front of my face. Panic and terror soon set in when I had no means of exiting the building. Even the Exit signs were not functional. I didn't have my phone with me. The situation could have really turned bad had I not had experience with meditation and calming myself through breathwork and visualization. I ended up crouching down near the elevator door and tried as best I could not to go crazy in the darkness. Someone with heart issues could have had a heart attack. What if my children were there? I had no idea when I was going to get out of there. I had no idea what had happened until the lights finally came on and I ran into the office manager when I was driving out of the facility. It was truly horrible. There were moments of extreme terror that I don't like to think about. I notified CubeSmart and got the usual, "We're so sorry. We'll look into it." That really isn't good enough. What happened could have potentially been fatal for certain people in a similar situation. Evidently Texas code does not require backup generators to provide light in such instances. That is just plain wrong!

Terrible i rented and paid for my unit online the morning before i needed to move in so when i got there the next day (this morning) the combo lock was still on my unit. I call customer service and they were no help their only advice was to leave and come back when the office opens. Couple problems there 1. They dont open for a hour and a half 2. I rented a uhaul so now i have to pay for extra gas, time, and miles 3. Because i had to wait until 9:30 instead of 8 to unload my tings into the unit i was late for work. Very bad first impression and i should not have to pay extra money to another company because you guys didnt do what you were supposed to on ur end very unhappy customer

You increased my cube parking rates at least once yearly. You finally priced me out of your market. Seems like customer loyalty means nothing to cube smart. I canceled my auto pay with cube smart employees in person on December 10, 2020 and moved out. Upon questioning this cancelation with cube smart, your staff assured me 3 times that I would not be charged on auto pay in the future and that it was all taken care of, and I didn't need to do anything further. But, I recently received an email from cube smart stating that my auto pay would be charged on December 26, 2020. I called cube smart international to dispute these charges several days ago and was told they would run it by management. As of December 30, I have still not received resolution from cube smart regarding this issue. I refuse to pay this fraudulent December 26 charge. I have notified my credit card customer services of your fraudulent actions, and they have placed "disputed charges" against cube smart and blocked payment. If this doesn't resolve this issue, I will definately take further actions against cube smart.

I needed some short term storage relatively quickly (storing for a few months, but needed a unit in two days). Carlos was very, very efficient in confirming the unit, making sure I was getting the best deal, and following up with me about the reservation. I was running a bit late (after their closing time) on my reservation day and Carlos happily and patiently accommodated me, showed me the unit to make sure it was right, and showed me other availability. The facility itself clean, management is onsite, and access is easy.

Both the manager and the employee were super friendly and helpful, and the unit is clean and well maintained. The only downside was that the driveway next to the unit was sloped away from the building so it made unloading the truck a little tricky. But the fact that customers have access to the truck for a nominal charge is fantastic. Would recommend.

I have a story? How about the fact that my storage unit cube smart decided to sell all of stuff that contained my memories of my late husband who is no longer with us anymore due to the fact that he died while serving overseas (in Iraq) and everything I have that was left of him was sold to it unknown person during an auction. I asked the manager about my items especially my personal items that pretty much will not mean as much to that person as it does to me, and is not replaceable, and he can't give me much information about it in return. I don't understand when people have auctions with someone's personal belongings in a storage unit, what is the purpose of you taking someone's personal stuff when you're probably just gonna throw it away. They obviously don't understand the importance of these items especially to my kids. I would not expect them too but it's pictures and videos of someone else. The fact that the only memories I have of my late husband are in that storage unit, (not that I would expect them to know) and now with a total stranger, is heartbreaking especially when his memory, a folded flag I received from the army, his metals, his certificates, presidential letters and personal Letters people sent me and anything that I have that I received when he passed is in That chest that I am am unable to locate, and have returned to me. It was suppose to go to my kids. It's crazy knowing that people will either sell it or throw it away because it's meaningless to them they don't realize that these are the only memories of my late husband that my kids have of him. (As well as other items that are close to my heart) So my dilemma right now is trying to track down the person who bought my items to see if I can retrieve all my personal items I don't care about all the other things all I want is my personal items. The reason this happened was because I was late on my storage payment it has only been 60 days not 6 months. . (Yes, I can see how you can think, how did I let this happen?) I feel like there wasn't enough contact between me and the unit manager, and there wasn't even enough time even after the fact given to me to even be able to make my account up-to-date. They will never know the hurt and pain that I'm feeling right now because it doesn't affect them (cold feeling) and to them, it is just junk, but to me it means more than what they ever will know! This is beyond crazy and unreal! They are not trying to help me figure anything out either! I am extremely disappointed by this and upset. The crazy thing about this whole situation is the person who purchased my stuff doesn't even have the decency to see that he has a deceased Army Military Soldiers folded flag and belongings and consider returning it and even consider returning personal belongings that has no money value to them, and end up in the trash. The storage facility did not make much of an effort to try to contact me before handing my stuff to a stranger who will just throw it away and make a quick buck. I would reconsider renting here because if you happen to miss a payment, your stuff may be gone and you won't even know about it. Very cold!

This is the best storage facility around. The management will bend over backwards and go out of their way to assist you on any way they can. I went in at closing time but that did not matter. Closing Time was when I had my storage unit. Then I needed to get in early one morning before opening time and the manager was willing to come in and be there before me just to make sure it was open and have a cup of coffee waiting for me. The place is like Home. It has a home like feel to it and the manager does his best to treat you like family. He is awesome. No other storage facility can beat what they have created.

Rented the truck for the final load. Jared & Steve were extremely helpful with both storage sheds and loved the fact storage units are close together. They know the layout and if you share you needs, they exceed them. Keep up the stellar work gentlemen.

These guys are great! Very friendly and provide wonderful service. The use of the moving truck when you first rent space with these guys is a SMOKING deal! The music inside the storage facilities is a nice touch as well. Highly recommend.

My wife & I were extremly impressed with Chadd Lane. He was very polite, patient, pleasant & thorough with us when we reviewed the terms & conditions of our storage contract. He is an example of the level of customer service one would hope to receive when conducting any kind of business transaction. We would definately rate him a 5 star plus out of 5 stars possible. I showed up with a full 16' truck. Jared kindly led me through the process, and I little time we were unpacking. Hassle free. Only minor complaint, the elevator doesn't stay open as long as it should, before beeping. Overall, very professional, enjoyable experience.

Had made reservations at another storage Cars packed full, couldn't find the location. Couldn't reach anyone went to call center. Googled this place. OMG was met at the door as soon as I pulled up with a smiling face and someone willing to help after my frustrating situation. Took me right to what I was looking for. Signed papers and was out of there in less than 20. Also 20$ cheaper thank the other non-existent location. Would highly recommend this facility. Made my day Just a bit easier. ?
