I was talked in to getting storage there by the worker making me believe that the price i was given wouldn't change. That he hadn't seen it go up in awhile so in a years time it shouldn't. Not 2 months into it I got a notification stating it was going up almost $20. (10×5 unit) so if you want storage just know that they get you in and will start increasing your prices bc they figure you don't want to haul your stuff all around. Im very disappointed as I am a single mother struggling so just $20 can make a big difference.

Everytime a new management turnover they go in an increase prices as twice the locks were cut off my unit within the same month n told their old locks were not sufficient n to purchase their locks, but they contact lease as if attempted break-in were happening but provide no evidence with the property videos

Will not recommend renting here if you are looking an inside unit. - Storage building entrance door is as big as your house entrance door. So you can imagine the struggle you will have get your furniture in. - There is one and only one cart to move your heavy items if someone else is using it you need to wait for them to complete there load. Almost every time I had to wait for someone to return the cart. And they force the insurance on you even if you have your insurance. They said my home insurance doesn’t cover items outside my home. Same insurance was accepted in another storage.

The CubeSmart employees are professional and helpful. The facilities are clean and well-secured. However, in the brief 1+ year period that I have rented a locker, my rent consistently went up ignoring the initial bargain teaser rate. In fact, it was about to go from $350+ to $430+ this coming month. I understand supply and demand, but this is simply price-gauging. Caveat emptor.

Used this location for about 1.5 years. There were months where one of the side doors wouldn't lock, one of the elevators has been inoperable for 6+ weeks, the phones in the front office were broken for a few months (meaning if you wanted to get ahold of them, you had to go in person during business hours for even simple questions). The prices are not competitive, the units often smell like people are smoking inside/around them, creepy flickering lights on occasion, etc. It's not the worst, and the guys in the front office are great/helpful now that the phones work again, but this was my experience.

Having a really bad experience the automatic payments didn't go thru. So I came in person to pay on Friday the next Monday it showed that the payment didn't go thru so I came back to pay again the guy at the counter said not to worry that payment shows to have gone thru. Three days later I'm getting late charges so I pay at the counter agin and not 144.05 and not even an hour later another 30 dollars was taken out!!!! And the number to the manager is going straight to voice mail

I had a terrible experience. There were rat issues, multiple furniture pieces ruined. AC controlled units not as advertised, a large screen tv ruined due to the high heat of the unit we had. Never would recommend this location or company. Did nothing other than offer rat poison packs to put in the unit. Terrible.

Our STORAGE UNIT got ROBBED HERE. 5/18/2021 Literally all that we had that was supposed to be safe you think because it’s gated and inside of a building yeah WRONG. Some of the areas in the building are DARK, they don’t have enough carts either. You know what we still paid another month after we transferred units and now the ONE TIME I can’t pay it I’m asking for help just to GRAB EVERYTHING AND GO they can’t even do that , still haven’t got the insurance payment from when we got robbed. Very contradicting store DEFINITELY NOT SAFE. Go to UHAUL

Untrustworthy and NOT secure. Left a key at the office for them to change the light bulb in my unit. This was never performed. Then thousands of dollars of items were removed from my unit with no signs of forced entry. They had it on film and would not release this footage to me. Insurance did not cover since there was no forced entry. Management did nothing to rectify the situation. Rate increases drastically over time as well. Take your business elsewhere. Edit: they did not even respond when I reached out to them. Poor customer service.

I would never recommend this location to someone. I have had my unit broken into and trashed twice in this past year. If you do store here definitely take anything you would miss out! They aren’t just taking expensive items I had mementos and my Christmas tree stolen. Not a good start to the holidays. Nothing against the staff they are kind but the security isn’t great.

The reason why I choose CubeSmart was because of their reviews. I didn’t want another mom and pop storage unit. When I first reserved a storage unit online the following day I received a call from Matt to confirm my reservation. He went over all that was needed from me in order for me to move in my personal belongings. Once I arrived, I immediately noticed the upkeep was good! I walk in and was told someone will be with me shortly. I was taken care of within minutes. I was also offered the rental of the moving truck they have on site. Once we completed the paperwork for my storage unit, we toured the premises as well as where my unit would be located. When I moved in my belongings the following week it was so convenient. They had three loading beds available to unload all of my belongs. This seriously saved me an hour from having to unload and load my personal belongings. I would definitely say from the moment I googled “Storage Units” and CubeSmart was recommend, to the time I had to use my access code to exit the gate, my experience went so smoothly as I already have a lot of stress of moving. I would definitely recommend CubeSmart!

Wonderful experience storing my possessions at CubeSmart Self Storage on E. Stassney Lane. Most importantly, the customer service was exemplary. Matt, the general manager, was responsive and competent - going above and beyond to help coordinate a cross-country move with a third-party moving company. The facilities themselves modern, clean, safe, secure, and easily accessible. Elevators are available for second and third floor access, and CubeSmart provides complementary carts to move heavy items. In addition, the prices were competitive with other self storage units in the city. Highly recommend CubeSmart for all your storage needs!

I was with CubeSmart in Pleasanton, CA for 5 yrs when I relocated to Austin, TX. I checked out of the storage unit in Pleasanton and my goods were loaded into a truck and by the time they got to Austin the house that was the final destination was still not empty. The moving company said I had to find a storage facility to put my load in as they weren't responsible for the house not being empty. I rented two units for a total of $311.00 when the moving company said they would store my goods in their storage facility for free. I called Cube Smart and was told that could not have the first months rent back even though I never moved anything into the units. They said that you have to give 30 days notice before canceling the units. I don't think that is fair at all as the units could have been rented the very next day and they would have had twice the rent.

By far the worst customer service I've ever seen. Was having trouble coming up with the money, so I didn't manage to pay till they were about to auction it. They refused partial payment then when I did pay they send me an email saying that my lock was cut and I have to buy I new one... When I emailed back saying I know that you cut my lock so I'm not paying for a new one they stopped responding. Very shady people avoid at all costs.
