This company charges insurance at an exorbitant rate, even if you have proof of insurance. They are incredibly over-priced for our area and are NOT worth renting from unless you are desperate and only need a short-term rental for valuable items with gate access but no climate control. NOT RECOMMENDED! The one positive thing I can say is that when I was moving out and the door got hung up and made me lose my balance & fall flat on my face in the parking lot, becoming injured in the process, the manager's were very kind and allowed me to finish moving out the next day. I had extensive bruising & abrasions to my face, ruined my eyeglasses and five days later am still sore. Richard & Jeff were great, the parent company's policies are not their fault and I was grateful for their concern. I'm sure the company couldn't have cared less.

Thank you, CubeSmart. Y’all are awesome. I needed a storage unit ASAP and it happened. They were very friendly very helpful and the best part is when I went to open the storage unit up they had a little bag with information and a lock which was already cut so I didn’t have trouble opening it. And I can honestly say they take care of the storage units there I forgot to put my lock on there and they gave me a call to let me know, but before I could get there, they had put a lock on it for me so my stuff didn’t get stolen. Definitely worth more than five stars, but that’s all I’m allowed to give.

Staff Mr.Jeff was such a pleasure to deal with. At times dealing with storage companies ESPECIALLY big one such as this was, stressors added on like cost increases, extra charges like processing fees. I am highly impressed with Jeff and Richard at the StorQuest Economy Storage in Canyon Lake Texas. Jeff has been very accommodating in showing me the facility, informing me of the camera security, and the pest prevention measures they use to protect the items in storage. These guys are up front about all pricing and fees. I would highly recommend this storage facility because of their attention to detail and the friendly , welcoming, customer service I received.

This storage place has been gradually gone down hill for the past 6 years. I never left cause it would have been too much work to move all my $#\¥ . But all of sudden new owners and management and a complete 180•. One of my rolling doors kept falling off the track and I had given up after requesting that it was fixed. This request fell in deaf ears. About 5 set of deaf ears as managers came and went. My door finally got fixed without me bringing it up( I had stopped asking). Employee noticed from a distance approached me offering to fix and “well agh” fixed. Cleanest and best kept storage facility ever.

UPDATE 12/1/21 Facility has sold...prices raised without notice. Corporate # mailbox is full! 0 stars No longer,, Friendly, clean, or managed well. This used to be a great storage facility. However, not the case any more...Theft from the locked building indicates inside job..Gate is no longer shut on a daily basis, cameras supposedly work, but can't be reviewed in the event of theft or vandalism. Unresponsive "management " Went this weekend and the gate was open and could not be closed...AGAIN 5/31/21 Think twice before renting from this facility. ??

I was happy with Great Value for a long time, but they have either lost local management or switched everything to a central office as they go through bankruptcy. I have called every number I can find and only ever receive voicemail that cannot accept new messages. The only contact I have had at all is the repeated charges against my bank card for a unit we have vacated, with written notice. This is so disappointing.

Randall provided a quality storage room at a very reasonable price for a short-term rental. He then went out of his way to assist me and my family in storing supplies for a wedding. For no extra charge, he loaned us materials for the wedding and even loaned use a trailer to haul the materials. Randall was exceptionally helpful, from prior to move in day to the move out day itself! I had to arrange for my rental from out of state as I was moving in from Tennessee. We were able to work together to get this done over the phone and via email. I was impressed with the property and the size and upkeep of the units. I liked the fact that there was an onsite manager and that I actually saw him on several occasions when we were there, he checking on the units. We were in the very back, so I can say that the entire property was physically checked. I also used a direct debit pay method and never had any problems with this either. It was all very easy, thanks to Randall. I would 100% recommend this facility.

The facility is well-maintained and free of any litter. Almost park like. I picked it before we even began our search for a house in Canyon Lake. I lucked out because we wound up buying a house only a mile or so away. The proximity and the 24/7 access was a big help as we settled in over a number of months.

This is an exceptional storage facility, with an amazing manager in Randall, but the owners are incredibly greedy. They've imposed not one but TWO insane price hikes in less than six months with ZERO notice. They continue to hold the poor citizens of canyon lake over a barrel, as any other units are too expensive already, or much too far away. This company will not continue to thrive if they keep going after peoples' hard earned money, beyond what is reasonable for a storage unit. My family has brought so much business into that place we should be making residual commissions off the amount of units that have been rented as a result of our good graces. The owners of this establishment are corrupt, greedy, and don't even care if your belongings are safe, as they put ZERO waterproofing measures in place, even though the area can become flooded very easily during inclement weather. As soon as we possibly can, we will be withdrawing ALL of our items from our units, and closing our account. We refuse to do business with such despicable individuals. The manager is NOT included in that group, as he is not like the owners & works with you to help make sure you don't lose your unit.

UPDATE: 12/07/21 this place is ridculous now!! For almost a year now they have continued to go down hill!! They have lost my payment information, kicked me out of the system because of the lost payment (I’ve rented their biggest unit for 6+years), lost my payment information a 3rd time, double locked me out, changed the access code without informing me twice resulting in me being locked INSIDE the unit gate at night TWICE with no answer from ‘management’ (because it’s non-existent for months and months now) and mailboxes full and have now gone up $60 a month WITHOUT notice!!! After 6+ years of renting from them~ they either need to pull it together or I’m going elsewhere ~ at least some place I can actually get to my belongings when needed and won’t get locked inside with no response!!!! ???? Good location for the north side of the lake; confident my items are safe d/t security gate, the type of locks given for use, 24/7 video surveillance and Manager living on-site...

this place does not even treat for bugs. I went to my unit and there where soooo many spiders ( not sure what kind). Also, the website says they are open Mondays but the manager has it closed??? very confusing. He is also not very friendly.
