I have been a CubeSmart customer for a while now, but my experience has gone downhill. My rate has increased from $170 to $175, then to $200, $205, and now $245. These constant rate hikes feel unfair and excessive, especially without any noticeable improvements in service. On top of that, their communication is abysmal. Their phone system is a nightmare, making it nearly impossible to get help when you need it. I was eventually given the number for Dennis, an apparent manager, and explained that I was having trouble with their app while trying to pay my bill. Instead of taking responsibility for the issues with their app, they still imposed a late fee. To make matters worse, Dennis openly told me that CubeSmart is publicly traded and needs to show their shareholders a profit, which is why they keep raising rates. It’s incredibly frustrating and unethical to put shareholders' profits ahead of loyal customers. If they want to charge premium rates, they need to ensure their technology and customer service match the price tag. My experience suggests CubeSmart cares more about its bottom line than providing quality service. I will be removing my items from cubesmart today and will never be returning.

First of I like my guy Dave from cubesmart but I'm starting not to like the company because my rates keep going up and they didn't do nothing like add AC or install lights in my unit... it's ridiculous so if I were you I would shop cause I just found the same size for lower rate so I'm going to move my shit this month...loyalty don't count for shit with this company so just move out.

Highly recommend this location for storage needs! GM is very involved and Cares for all customers. Constant property monitoring is done and gives me peace of mind knowing my items are well taken care of. Customer service reps are nice. Renting is so easy with cube smart. The app is easy to use and there aren’t any hidden fees!

I've had to deal with several storage facilities in the last couple years but cubesmart at fairway ct. has been easily the best one. From the staff always willing to help and make it a great experience to the facilities, clean and well lighted, availability of carts to move things and safety, I don't think there's anything that could have made my experience better other than offer extended access hours. I'd gladly use them again.

Today i went to my daughter's storage at Cubesmart to get something out for her. She has had SEVERAL PROBLEMS prior to today with getting an access code to even be able to access her storage and has been very patient and nice everytime she has spoken to them,but today takes the cake. I had her key, was able to get in with an access code she was given 30 mins prior to me coming up here, etc. This employee, Dave i think his nane is, said he could not tell me where her unit was physically located. What i mean by that is he said he couldn't tell me where unit 195 was inside the gate that i already had and used the access code to get inside. It has been very frustrating dealing with this place.

Tried to move up to a larger unit and they wanted to charge me $65 more than a new customer price. They said I could reserve a new unit as a new customer but would have to pay the $15 registration fee and whatever overlap amount. So became a new customer at their competition which was $100/month cheaper on top of a half price special for 2 months. Can’t stand companies that try to ripoff loyal customers. Do not rent here! The manager was very professional and business like.

Well I first called this place and ask them is this place 24-hour access because I sell and work on computer systems to fast food places that are open 24 hours, he said no but if I need to stay a little late to drop off tools pick up something it would be a problem. The excess stops at 10:00, I guess I was there till 10:15 dropping off tools and he did not stop calling me the following day until I answer he asked me why I was there 15 minutes after 10 p.m. I told him I had to drop off tools and to pick up tools for the next day. you didn't told me I cannot stay past 10 it is against company policy I've been informed him that he said it would be no problem for me to do this and now there is a big problem doing this. So true evenings later I was there at 10:04 is when I left the gate he did not stop calling me until I answer the phone to tell me I was there at 10:04 and you asked me why I keep doing this to him. ( Yeah I got nothing ) So then after listening to that lack of customer service I brushed it aside I kind of laughed whatever the following evening I was there until 10:08 and guess what he did not stop calling until I answer the phone once again to inform me that I was 8 minutes after 10 in what my problem was. ( Again it's not about him so I got nothing ) I don't have time for this whining terrible customer service and his attitude. This went on for 2 and 1/2 Weeks I could not wait to get out of there and get this guy out of my life. I walked in there to inform him about what I did once again so he would stop calling and is pregnant lady walked in asking him where the restroom was and he said they were broken the plumber was supposed to be there two days ago so they're broken. That is a lie it is beneath him to clean the restrooms so he closes them up so no one uses them. TO A PREGNANT LADY. So I'm passing talkative neighbors they could not wait either to get out of there that dude no more cares about customers and customer service or customer satisfaction then the Man in the Moon he's got to be one of the laziest rudest individuals you will have the misfortune to meet. I believe he's there just for the free room and board and obviously the owner doesn't care about his numbers cuz they have to be terrible. Every other locker has one of those little temporary locks on there to indicate that they're open And ready to be leased out. Stay away stay far away it is Doom and gloom and one of the laziest individuals you will ever meet you will be depressed after you leave there don't go don't go no one deserves to go there. I got to tell you being in sales my whole life I guarantee I could triple that guy's numbers in a month and they'll actually want to stay what a concept.

I just wanted to leave a review for the Grand Prairie, Fairway Drive location. They were changing out the sprinklers for the entire storage unit and I called and spoke with Charles and then David. This was one of the most top notch customer service that I have ever experienced. I have travelled out of the country several times, deal with concierge, valet and all sorts of individuals. I must say that Manager David Cares about the type of service that this facility receives. He’s thorough, diligent, attentive and very professional. It was such a treat encountering someone like him. Charles was amazing as well. They’re really outstanding over there in Grand Prairie and I appreciate their service. Kudos to both of these gentlemen who reminded me that great customer service is not dead.

Manager Arial helped me out when I snapped my key off inside my lock. She removed the broken key fragments from inside the lock, gave me a temporary so I could get a spare key made, and when no place in carrollton (walmart, lowes, home depot, and elliots) could duplicate a spare key for me she exchanged my lock for free.

This is a tremendous storage facility! Ariel has been a real help in setting me up with my storage needs. I recommend this as a top notch, clean as well as secure place!

We needed storage and found this facility. I made the reservation online for what I thought would be the right size unit. When we went to check the unit out, it was not exactly what we wanted. Dave and Ariel went the extra mile to get us units that would meet our needs. We are starting out on a very positive note. I would highly recommend this storage facility.

I reserved my space online and was given a promotional discount. I was sent an email confirming my reservation stating I would pay $45 and some change at time of move in. I ended up paying close to $78 due to the mandatory insurance they require and having to purchase a lock. That is the only complaint I have and not such a big deal that I'm giving them less than 5 stars, simply because the customer service I received from Ariel was stellar. She was dealing with 2 move ins at once, myself and another guy and she was patient and very efficient in making sure the process went smoothly. I'm glad I chose this location!

I've had a storage unit there for 13 years. In the last three years, I've had a flood that ruined most of my things, had a rat infestation AND they had the nerve to raise my rental fee two or maybe three times. I need to get my things OUT of there as soon as find the time!

Office staff (Dave and Adam) are really nice and professional. They were able to quickly access my needs and get me taken care. Only negative thing for me was that in 2x that I spoke with staff over the phone, I wasn't informed that they would require me to purchase their insurance on the unit. I learned this information after coming in to sign docs and get the unit, but it would have been helpful to know beforehand.

My original storage facility was bought out by Cubesmart. Cubesmart has continually raised my rent every year since they took over with no added service. They are going to steal from me one last time...when I gave my 30 day notice, the Carrollton Texas office located on Fariwary Drive called to let me know that they would not able to pro-rate my last month's rent. Cubesmart knows how to raise your rent but they don't know how to pro-rate your account or process a refund that is due to you. Very interesting. Beware, the only way to avoid being ripped off by Cubesmart on your last month would be to vacate your storage on the first day of the month. If I could give them zero stars for customer service, I would.

So far my experience has been slightly above average with a few irritations. Shortly after booking I received a call from the manager, Dave. He was just checking in to confirm my order and get any info that might help him give me a better experience. This was nice, until he didn't follow through on move-in day. We arrived at around 10, but there was a sign up that said he'd be back soon, but it looked like 9:20AM. Turned out to be 10:20 AM that he had set it to. In that 30ish minute period we were waiting, I called Customer Service and had them leave a message on the emergency line because we had a road trip to go get the rest of our stuff on the other side of the state, and it wasn't raining when we arrived. Not that he can control the rain, but if it had all been on time, and the systems had been up when we did finally process our payment, we wouldn't have been poured on in the Cats-and-Dogs rain that followed us getting our keys. The only other thing I would change about CubeSmart is when they build their units, they should build them with a slight incline so that any water that does come in from rain or items spilled in other units rolls out of the storage units rather than into.
