If you need to speak to someone on site, good luck. If you need a rolling cart to empty things in your vehicle to put into the storage, good luck if you want your belongings to be maintained at "climate controlled" facility. Good luck if none of these things matter, then congratulations.

Being able to login and get the unit online is nice. What isn’t is my unit didn’t exist and I wasted a lot of my day trying to find the unit. I scoured the map they sent me and realized my unit doesn’t exist on the map either. I am looking for a non existent unit. I had to put my stuff in an unused unit. I will change the review if I can get this sorted out amicably. I fear putting an item in a unit that wasn’t meant for me but hopefully they understand, I’ll change this review if things improve.

Very unhappy. I booked over the phone and was very clear with what I needed when I got there I had to get a bigger unit that was more than double the price and didn’t have the same deals I was promised over the phone. They bait and switch and it’s unacceptable. I wouldn’t have gone with them had I gotten accurate information.

Customer service at its best! I rented a unit at 23550 Highway 290. Debbilyn provided excellent customer service. She clearly and quickly went through the contract, gave me a few important tips for getting in and out the property, retrieving the lock and opening the unit. Trying to access my unit on a Tuesday @2:30 pm. All fees paid on time but yet my access code is denied and the remote access is not working. Both of these issues have been recurring to many times. Website states office is closed. Thus facility is Ridiculous. On top of that they have the balls to raise my fees $20. I’m pulling my stuff out. Don’t use this facility

Started renting a unit here the first day the new manager Miss Debbie took over and it’s been a great experience overall. She’s always really nice and is very helpful. I’ve locked myself out of my unit twice and each time she helped me out with a big smile on her face. The property is always clean as well as the dumpsters. Compared to any other storage place in the area this one is hands down the most kept up with and best option around. Rates are affordable and the customer service is A1! This is a good option for short term storage though security is suspect. Pricing was reasonable although the place is looking a bit worn out. A neighboring unit was burglarized with loss of expensive yard care items and the victim indicated the management’s attitude was “too bad”, and not helpful at all.

It’s not the location it’s their customers service I was so disappointed in how the treated me and sent me to the wrong location gave me the wrong directions to the location of the locker I’m stuck in a unit that’s not mine and at the wrong location to make matters worse my location is closed today. I am not sure if ownership has changed since I started my lease, but the office personnel sure has. The level of professionalism is lacking. I was hung up on by the "manager" after trying to understand why my storage bill was about $25.00 more than it should be. I asked for a district managers information, was given an email that doesn't even work, but refused a phone number. I called the 21300 Northwest Freeway location asking for help, he claimed he would call the district manager and ask for them to call me, but I cant be certain that ever happened as I have still not received a phone call to this day. When I started my lease, there were no issues. Why there are now, I dont know but I am going to need a phone call from an owner, district manager, corporate office, or someone other than the child who works in the office telling people she is the office manager.

The storage charged me twice. I called to get it fixed but the employee have said if someone tried to contact me because there was nothing in the unit with no lock on. Employee have said they put a temporarily lock. But he might be mistaken he might be talking about a different unit. So, I went to the facility and it was a different lock. Low life stole my stuff but I believe it was a inside job cause it was no force entry. I filed a police report. When the police left moments later when I was at the office a gentleman also was reporting someone broke into his unit. Plus there's no camera's around. That should have been a red flag for me. I would not recommend cube smart at all.

Used their online system to rent out a unit. Did not have any issues . Made the reservation during closed hours and got a call as soon as they opened with a gate code along with unit number . Not having to go inside during this pandemic was nice.The cubesmart app is the way to go. Anytime I called or needed info the two ladies I spoke with were very nice and had all the answers . In a world where customer service seems to be harder and harder to find, Cubesmart in Cypress does not disappoint. Doris , the manager, is by far the most professional, polite, kind, woman I have been able to work with on years! I have a very tricky schedule with my special needs son and let's face it things have been tough during this pandemic. Doris remembers my availability schedule with my son's therapies if she needs to contact me. She is great with having the answers to any questions I have and always has a delightful demeanor. I've had this storage for about a yr now and i just so grateful i choose them! More than once more than I'd like to admit my unit almost went to auction for nonpayment and they were patient with me and tried to help me anyway possible. Oh my word!! This company was wonderful to us!! Best part of all ??? Doris !!! I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting someone as sweet as her!! And knowledgeable and helpful !!! She explained everything to me in detail answering all of my questions! No contracts. Month to month which we loved!! The units were five Star clean!! If you’re looking for an honest , safe and clean storage unit - don’t decide or “settle” on one until you’ve stooped by to see Ms Doris!!!!!

Don’t go here. My friends unit was broken into. Pinpointed. Even with a lock on the unit it still can be broken into with unsecured latch. The place (mom and pop) I used to use has been around for over 25 years and their gate systems have alarms and video that relay to someone on call. Latches are secure as well. Employees should let you know if your unit has been robbed also. Not “that there has been an incident.”

Everyone here is really nice. Unfortunately upon move out I noticed my lock had been broken. Luckily I didn't have much in the storage so nothing was taken. Staff is great but I wouldn't use this storage facility again.

I was in a hurry to get a storage unit as I was leaving town. I already had a unit at another storage facility. I went there to get another one and the price was much more than what I was paying for my current unit. I said that was crazy I should call another place and the manager agreed that I should call another place. I called CubeSmart, they reserved a unit and when I got there it was very easy to get everything taken care of. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful. She understood I was leaving and my daughter would be moving things in. She gave me her cell phone in case they had any problems or needed any help - much better than suggesting I go to another business. If I had the time, I would've cancelled my other unit and moved it all to Cube Storage.

My husband and I were having to move I was really stressing out knowing that i was going to have to put all my things in storage for a couple of month. After meeting with Doris the manager I felt so at ease with leaving all my items on her property. Doris took the time to explain the different size units available and what we may need. She was very patient as we didn’t know what we were actually needing. Once we left I didn’t even have a worry about my items and knew it was all in good hands. I would definitely recommend this place!

Great customer service with the manager who took me around the property to show me a few open units. It was a easy move in and she was very helpful with all questions and information.

My sister and I were trying to find storage for our elderly parents. Doris Anderson was so friendly and helpful. She treated us like family and showed us around to help us find the right option for our parents' storage needs. It ended up later that my parents cancelled their move and thus we didn't need the storage after all. Doris was so understanding and helped us with the check-out procedure so that my parents wouldn't be charged for upcoming rent. Doris was also very professional and kind. Just a real pleasure to do business with when you are going through a stressful time. The storage units were very clean by the way and nice. The prices were competitive.

Don't go here! Someone at this location is going into storage units and stealing and the insurance is fraudulent.. We had our things (beds, lawn chairs, lawn mower, weedeaters, movies, can openers, clothes, and our children's bicycles, end tables, night stands, family furniture that has been in our family was destroyed, pots and pans) stolen. We received a call saying our lock was off only to find ALL of our things in our storage had been taken out and rearranged... We are still finding out things that were stolen even though we have move out. No call from corporate. We were told they would do their best to help, but nothing happened. Also when we filed a claim with cubesmart's insurance that we paid for we were told that the employees stated we had double lock on our unit.. then who had access besides cubesmart... I normally don't write bad reviews... But I see others things have been stolen too.. Stay Away!!!

I reserved a 10x20 unit online, ended up with 2 10x10 units side by side they call a multidoor unit. That is not so bad except it is so brutally hot in them. I ask if there were any other units that I could possibly move to that was not in the direct sun. Yes there was but i would have to pay another whole months rent after moving into these units only 2 days before. Where is the customer service there? I am not happy with the units and not to mention you have to be Dale Earnhardt to get into the facility from the feeder rd. Totally not happy! With nothing being done about the units!

I moved to CubeSmart from another Houston local facility, and I'm very happy. CubeSmart on 290 has a friendly, professional staff with a manager living on site for extra security. There are plenty of useful amenities like roller carts, water fountains and a bathroom. The facility is always clean and well maintained. Highly recommended.

Cleaner than most, and for the moment still shiny-new condition (which the customers could degrade at any time, so don't necessarily blame the facility), but there was one thing that rankled intensely. I was given the gate code and unit number to fetch something stored there by our organization's crew, but they failed to tell me that the facility has two different sets of lockers with the same unit numbers. There's a set of exterior doors with numbers in the range from 100 to 200 scattered across a couple of buildings, and then there's a set of interior units in Building A that run from 100 up as well. And the door placards don't have anything but the number; it's not like the interior unit 130 in building A is labelled A130 while the exterior unit is just plain 130 (or D130, since I think it was in building D); no, both just say 130. So if you avail yourself of their services and will be sending random employees or others to collect or drop off stuff at your unit, MAKE SURE TO TELL THEM ENOUGH: Which building is the unit in, and whether the unit is interior or exterior.
