When you call no one answers the phone and you rarely get a response in a timely manner. The time on the door states we’ll be back at 3:00 pm doors are still locked at 3:10 and no one in sight.

The measurements are very misleading I selected a 10x25 storage but what they don't tell you is that 10' is the height and the width is more like 6' to 7'. 5/27/24 update. I measured the unit. The width for the unit I am in is 9'-4" and the length is 23'-6". That comes out to 25 square feet that I am not getting.

Horrible experience. My storage unit was broken into by the employees on site and stole my family and I entire identity and life. I mean birth certificates, hospital diploma, college SSC, licenses antique dolls, clothes, electronics to dj equipment. Then placed her personal lock on my unit after breaking my lock. I paid 300$ so that it wouldn't be auctioned off and they weren't suppose to go through my things but only take pictures of property. I guess they assumed I wasn't going to pay and stole my items. Never got them back. I constantly contacted everyone to do my police report and file a theft report. She kept telling me tomorrow and she was in a hurry to pick up son. Well that never got done and I had to go to higher authorities. Some things were inherited in my family and now it's gone. Something's are just not replaceable and I'm so hurt by this.

I've been with CubeSmart for 3 years. It started off well; my payments were low, and the service was good. All of a sudden, my payment doubled, which was quite frustrating because no one informed me over the phone; I received only an email, which I easily could have missed. Despite the significantly higher charges, I continued with them. For the past few months, autopay was randomly canceled, resulting in late fees. When I called to set up autopay again, they assured me it was successful. However, the same issue persisted, and for four months, I faced this inconvenience. It's absolutely ridiculous. I trusted that autopay was in place, and the worst part is that they called me one day after imposing a late fee to remind me of a payment due. I wouldn't recommend them at all.

It was my first time dealing with a storage unit and my experience was great! I stressed out for no reason, Cube Smart provides clear, precise and easy to follow instructions to get into the grounds and to your unit. I chose a climate controlled unit and you could feel the freshness of the unit as soon as you opened the door to get into your section. It was easy to reserve and get through the agreement process online; Didn't have to wait on anyone - Literally reserved and signed my agreement the day before I needed the unit. Storage is convenient and affordable. However, since it is an outdoor storage facility, I believe majority of the renters are construction workers to store their materials. So the driveway has a ton of nails laying around. I've had two puncture my tires already. I try to pick up the ones I see, but there are just too many. Hopefully someone can go around with a magnetic pole and get them all up

Lots of price increases, prone to floods, unit leaked water from ceiling and management gave no response whatsoever. Unit had excessive dirt due to poor seal on garage door. Two break ins and no cameras other than one in entrance, gate broken and was not repaired for several weeks. This is not where you want to rent.

He was so helpful and open with information, unlike Devon who bought out the company I was using. I have a larger space, less rent,, and insured. Pros- Ok so the property is always clean, gated entrance with security code. They have climate control and drive up access to storage. Cons- They do not work with you on any late fees, payment arrangements and etc... Don't even try because the policy is 0. They just finally got a new person up front in the office and she actually does her job and call you if you forget and try to work something out unlike the last people. She always answers the phone and will give you a call back. Thank you soooo much for your help today. It was greatly appreciated. I'm watching for updated reviews for you all.

Burglary happened two time to my unit and no action was taken, Lost thousands of dollars of my belongings, the main manger resigned and regular manager for two months, gate malfunctioned for two months, entry gate cameral malfunctioned for two months, it was an inside job as the culprit who broke in had the building code to get into the my unit, He know no security system was working, he had a treasure hunt and took all my movable valuables, I asked for investigation and nothing was done to investigate, I asked to change the building code and it took more than a month to do it, I rented an expensive 30x15 climate controlled unit and no climate controlled was provided and my climate sensitive many items such as leather sofas, electronics, and memory items (CDs, DVDs) got damaged. I could not stay after the 2nd time burglary and had to move to another storage costing me 4,000 dollars to move my furniture's, books and other long-ling belongings. This was an extremely terrible experience and I had damaged my health by worrying each night that the culprit had free pass (entry and exit with impunity) as everything broke down. I had police report both times and I had submitted for insurance both times and both insurance was denied first time and still waiting for the second insurance claim (most likely to be denied). I do jot want anyone else to have this experience.

This has to be the worst experience with a storage facility I’ve had. The staff is fine and was helpful getting me a storage unit that fit my needs, however the gate hardly ever works here. I’ve made 3 different trips to this location during “access hours” and found that the gate is just not working. The first two times were because of a storm which affected the gate (which I can understand but you should at least let your customers know this can happen before leasing with you). The 3rd time there was no apparent reason at all for the gate not be working. All that was left is a sign on the gate keypad stating “temporary access hours 9:30-6”, you would think with the amount of money they charge for storage the facility would at least be courteous enough to send an email letting us know there are modifications to our access hours. This is extremely frustrating when you are trying to get your things out of storage when you need them. Beware of this place if you actually want to be able to retrieve your things.

Sarah was very friendly and cooperative in showing me several units. I received a call reconfirming the reservation I made online. She gladly gave the unit one last cleaning prior to moving in. She reconfirmed the online rate I received and noticed a discrepancy on the paper - rate on her end. Renting this unit was far more superior than renting from Public Storage via online and dealing with their customer service was no existent.

We had a unit rented here for 2 years while living overseas. Our unit was burglarized in September 2021. We had insurance purchased through cube smart which was a total scam. They refused to cover, we just discovered today -3 months later, because the robbery wasn’t “forced entry”. The unit was entered into with a key, even though we used the “correct” style of lock required by cube smart. So the lock was picked or a master key of some sort was made - I was told by a locksmith that something called “bumping” can be done to break into these types of locks. They rummaged though our things, broke multiple things, and stole thousands of dollars worth of items, some which cannot be replaced for sentimental reasons. The manager is also useless. I called and emailed and got no response. The gate code and the hallway code that led to our unit was still using the same code as when we left two years ago. They also don’t have cameras. I wish I would have inquired about this more before we used them, but we were in a time crunch and dealing with an international move, so that was my fault. I wish I could leave negative stars. That’s what they deserve. I was also told by an employee that multiple units were burglarized at the same time ours was. They know it’s happening and don’t care. Horribly managed. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I’ve been a customer at this location since 2013 - back when it was still AAA storage. Sarah has been here the entire time and she is an amazing site manager. I am not local and she has always taken time to inform me of weather issues, rising water, and any other concerns. I really appreciate her diligence in taking care of the grounds and responding to all questions in an immediate fashion. I have had experience with 5 Houston area storage unit companies. The staff at Cube Smart were very helpful. They guided us through the process to get started and to close out. Once we didn't secure the lock correctly and received a call alerting us of the situation. Sarah was my go to lady! She was helpful and courteous! If we need a storage unit again we will be back.

I moved in to a climate controlled unit on 2/24/18. I did my research and made phone calls. That’s the first time I spoke with Sarah. She had a great memory and was extremely helpful. The move in was very smooth. Two years later I come regularly to pay in person just to say hello. I’ve have a developed a rapport checking on my things and knowing they are guarding my property and they care. Since it became cube smart I have adjusted and it’s a pleasure to know Ms. Madison too. I recommend this facility to my sister when she was in transition moving homes and she used it for those few months and said it was the best storage she has used. The location is very ideal. The hours work out well and the toilet in the office is always sparking. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could.

I was so impressed with the service I received. Larneatha was so friendly and went out of her way to show me the size of unit I was looking at, getting all the details for my rental ready. The prices were so reasonable compared to other facilities. I wanted something close to my home and was really pleased with the building and how clean it was.

Sarah Fultz made it so easy to rent a storage unit. She was very thorough about all the details for renting. The unit was very clean. Every time we went to remove some of our items she had a cart available for our use. She immediately brought the cart; there was never any waiting. Poor security. Several thousands of dollars in damage and lost property. Management was no help. No camera footage. Person was living in my van and did enough damage that the vehicle was considered totaled. Very disappointed.

I have never had an issue with Cube Smart. From all the storage facilities they have always been the cheapest! The manger at store 5708! Was on the ball! I cleared out my until last night and called to cancel! She went ahead and closed out my account! The best part! If you close out your account 10 before your payment is due! They don't charge you! If I ever need storage! Cubesmart is where I'm going!

We had to get two storage units for my elderly parents. CubeSmart offered the best price around. They were straightforward in explaining all the details including any additional costs. It was a very professional business transaction. Very transparent and seemed genuinely concerned for our best interest. Sara was pro-active in calling us about our reservation and was incredibly professional in person and went through a step by step overview of the whole sign-up process and procedures to follow to access our storage units. She gave us a tour and was very kind even offering a chair for my elderly father since he has chronic back pain. I totally recommend this business. They are honest and have nice large storage units at an affordable price.

This location has been awesome to us! We just signed all of the paperwork today and are extremely happy with everything. The representative mentioned in a different review(Ms.Sarah) is super nice, and made sure we got an awesome rate. On the topic of rate though, I accidentally went to the wrong storage facility with my reservation and they were shocked at the rate, and said they couldn’t even get close to that, saying their cheapest unit was $20 more a month, and they couldn’t lock in the rate, it would only be for 3 months. This storage facility gave no limit for my rate, and has truly been great. I will definitely be recommending this location to anyone who needs a storage unit.

I had a stint of homelessness and had to store some stuff while couch surfing. AAA storage had a unit to fit my needs and I even got one month free for paying 2 months up front! Their attendant Sarah is a delight and their "Get out of jail free" card was such a blessing when I inevitably needed it.

We started my business out of my garage and needed more space to accommodate our needs. Found Sarah and AAA Storage and saw that they were right off 290. Works perfect. Amazing customer service and felt confident with the security and the measures that were taken to provide safety. Clean and just what we needed while we were there. Eventually, we needed a warehouse and had to move on, but I strongly recommend AAA Storage. Thank you, again Sarah!

I've been in cypress Texas (well, Houston texas really) for 3 years and have been in a number of other storage locations. In my year or so here, i have told everybody that brings up the idea of storage, about AAA Storage on Northwest Freeway. They had a bunch of sizes to chose from. Its agreat place to store your things. I really like the mangers. They're Great (like Tony the Tiger says!).
