I had a positive experience with CubeSmart Self-Storage largely thanks to Jonathan, the Store Manager. Moving is very stressful, but Jonathan truly made the process so much easier. He was kind, helpful, and understanding from the moment I first walked in. He was always quick to respond to my texts and was there for me whenever I needed quick assistance. The property itself is also well maintained. It's clean, orderly, and felt SAFE, which is a big plus as a single woman. The location in Uptown is convenient, but what truly sets this CubeSmart apart is Jonathan. Knowing he was there overseeing things gave me peace of mind during a very hectic time. I highly recommend this CubeSmart location if you're in the Uptown area. Jonathan's dedication to ensuring customers are taken care of is unmatched and made all the difference. Spoke to Angel on the phone prior to moving in as we needed a bigger unit. She was outstanding, friendly, and informative. The day we moved in Jonathan the general manager was there, and was great! Walked us to the unit, explained everything, and went out of his way to make sure we had everything. Even brought us some bottled water While we were moving in! Great customer service that you rarely see these days.

I was discriminated at this storage facility. Because i was not gay. I had won a storage unit at this place from auction. When i arrived at this place this Jonathon person, told me that he could not find anything information in his system about the unit. So i called company where i won storage from. And before he spoke to anyone on phone, this jonathon immidiatly finds unit information. He then cancels the transaction. And blames it on new people that are training. Yea right. He wanted the unit for himself and just made up some story. I drove about an hour to get there just for this guy pull a shady stunt like that. Waste of my time and money. I tried to call before i went up there, but he never answers the phone. And the both times that i show up, the door is always locked. The good reviews about this person must be people he knows or he paid them to write a good review. But my true personal experience from this place. Was awful and terrible. I would never ever rent or deal with this place ever again. Because of how i was discriminated on by this character.This place blows just like this Jonathon person.

I've had the best experience when it comes to CubeSmart on Cedar Springs in Dallas. Not only are they very flexible with move out dates but the care and support they provide is truly something special. Went into their office today to buy boxes for my move this weekend and Jonathan told me not to buy a thing as he has saved boxes from clients that have moved out recently. He was so kind and help me gather the boxes and continued to show me more that I can come back to grab. Also, with my move occurring in the first week of the month when I asked to get a pro-rated quote they told me not to worry about it and just to let them know when I was moved out. Jonathan has made the moving process an easy one and can't thank him enough for his kindness and help! If you need storage go to CubeSmart on Cedar Springs and ask for Jonathan! Thank you!!

After renting a small indoor storage unit at this location since 2011, I moved everything out yesterday. Johnathan was very kind & helpful. I had not been by in 7 years so I was very surprised by how clean the unit & all of my things were. Expecting the worst, I brought gloves but they were not needed. I highly recommend this location!

Jonathan is a legend! Incredibly helpful the day of move in, answered several questions over text, made ending my lease super easy as well. I felt very at ease with my decision to rent with them. Pro tip: pay attention to the signs near the elevator!!! Don’t be a dummy and hold the doors open because the elevator can and will malfunction, and it will make things far more difficult for renters moving big items.

Cube Smart was so easy to use! I did everything online and went in after-hours to begin moving in my belongings. The building was well lit and very safe. Every time I went in it was after- hours so there was no staff around, everything was clean, and working properly. At move out, I had forgotten the keys to my lock in a different city. Jonathan went above and beyond to help me and make my experience the best one possible. I went in stressed out and Jonathan made me laugh and helped me every step of the way. I had zero issues with cube smart, my only complaint is I didn't meet Jonathan sooner! Would definitely recommend!

I would give CubeSmart zero stars if possible. I completed my application online and hadn't yet moved into my storage unit when I received a phone call from someone named Jonathan. Jonathan was extremely rude and told me that he had video footage of my boyfriend walking around their facility, checking for unlocked units. I find this hard to believe as I do not have a boyfriend. I'm also confused as to how Jonathan thinks he could identify and attribute this person to me...especially since I've never been to CubeSmart. Jonathan told me I was evicted and would not be reimbursed for any prior payments. This has been both a laughable and offensive experience. I'm actually glad I got this call because I really wouldn't want to store anything I cared about in a sketchy place like this.

I have dealt with the staff at the Cedar Springs CUBESMART on many occasions. They have always been extra courteous and helpful, especially Jonathan. Since moving to Dallas 6 years ago l value the convenience and usefulness of my storage unit very highly. It's nice to be greeted with a warm smile and cold bottles of water every time I arrive. Completely ideal location is absolutely awesome. Anytime we've ever needed something it was handled in the most timely fashion. Completely recommend storing your things here for anyone. Being loyal and having storage units for year's is rewarded with a ever-increasing rate hike. I could move out and back in and my rates would be lowered hundreds of dollars. While I appreciate the units are income and it's a business the ever-increasing rates price rises just don't make sense. My suggestion is to shop around for different companies and ask if they have an ever-increasing price rise. Yes one should have read the contracts that enable these ever increasing price rises but this company should also understand long term contracts should be rewarded not punished

It's unfortunate to have to leave such a poor review, my experience with Cube Smart was great up until about a week ago. The reservation and move in process went as smoothly as it could have, with some small perks like the individual working in the office bringing me and my friends some cold bottles of water (which was amazing, as it was an insanely hot day). However, last week the elevator went down and the office has done nothing to rectify the situation. There is a single elevator that serves the ENTIRE storage facility and I was given a unit on the top floor, so when the elevator went down it became impossible to access any of my furniture. The stairs are useless to move anything larger than a box in and out. I have been left living in a completely unfurnished apartment - something that was supposed to be a temporary solution has turned into a complete headache dragging on without an end in sight. When I asked the office when the elevator will be fixed, I was told there is no ETA at all. Literally. There is one elevator, it's been broken nearly a week, and the office has no idea when it will be fixed and has not even attempted to make the situation right. I do NOT recommend using this storage facility. Go find a place that has more than 1 elevator and save yourself the headache of spending hundreds of dollars a month to have your entire life's belongings held hostage without any indication they are even attempting to fix the situation. It's absolutely absurd.

So far, my experience with this CubeSmart location has been exceptional. If I could give 10 stars, I would ...because Elizabeth has been incredibly helpful, and made the entire process go very smoothly. I was in a tough situation and had some unique requirements when selecting a new storage facility, and she really went above and beyond to help make it a reality for me and I cannot thank her enough. If I were her boss, I would give her a raise. I did think that the prices were a little bit higher than I was expecting but I think it's just because it's in a nicer area than my previous storage location... And they did give me the first month free which was nice. I will update my review to include how things are going once I get moved in, but so far I highly recommend this location for anyone storage needs.

My name is Steve Kennedy, State Bar Number 11300425, and I do not recommend renting here. My Girlfriend, Cathy Wichman, rented a storage unit from this place for our joint use because it had good reviews. The elevator was broken when we moved in on February 25, 2021 and we had to use the manager's code to get it to function. When we returned on March 6, 2021 with more heavy boxes, the elevator was out of service altogether, but we were told we could use the stairs, as if hauling heavy boxes up four flights was an option. We contacted the store on March 9, 2021, and were told that the elevator still doesn't work. I don't care how "nice" management is, if the elevators are not working, how are we supposed to get heavy boxes into storage?

Poor maintenance & poor customer service. Movers and I arrived on my scheduled move out date to find the required elevator was not working and had not been working for a few weeks. Prior to moveout, I twice contacted Cubesmart alerting them of the date & my need to get a baby grand piano off the second floor. One of my calls was on the day before moveout. Cubesmart did not bother to tell me the elevator wasn’t working. My baby grand had to be left behind. Plus, my movers were forced to navigate steep stairwells with 90-degree turns in order to remove my other heavy items. The cost of moving the piano was part of my original move rate. So, I lost that money and was forced to again hire movers when the elevator was finally fixed. Cubesmart's irresponsible actions cost me an additional $1,800 to get my baby grand out of the Dallas unit and moved to Houston. We asked Cubesmart to reimburse us for the second move cost, which was clearly their fault. Cubesmart has not honored good business practices. So, we’re having to move forward with the Arbitration process against Cubesmart. SJMcGaha 11-10-21

Would recommend storing here! Jonathan is very nice and keeps the place top notch. He walks the unit at least daily and if he notices the slightest thing out of place he will call you and make you aware. He noticed I had moved out before I was even able to call and let them know. Its very clean and I never had any issues here. The elevator was a bit scary, but that has since been replaced.

Both Jonathan and Bri are not only extremely helpful, but they always have a great attitude. I come in every month to pay my bill and stop periodically to get into my storage unit. Each time they are upbeat and friendly. I have used other storage units but nothing compares to the service that I receive at the Cedar Springs location. I definitely would recommend this location to family/friends.

From the beginning to present I have been greeted, and most of all treated with the upmost gratitude, appreciation by Jhonnathon and Bree; employers of Cube Smart located on 2711 Cedar Springs Rd. here in Dallas. They have been some of the most kindest and friendliest people I've met yet. Honestly, If you want your property stored with someone you can trust and that will care for you and your property you can depend on these two! Very impressive customer service, ????

Cube Smart was amazing! Five Stars! 1) Staff was kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I had the pleasure to work with Amanda, and met Jonathan both of whom were fantastic. 2) Call in info number resulted in a great price and additional super nice people who set my account up within minutes. 3) Location couldn’t be better (1.5 Miles from Victory Park, 1 mile from Uptown, 1.5 from Highland Park - I could go on!)! 4) You can use your code 24 hours a day if needed so I could come and go from my unit a super needed.

Excellent customer service: I arrived a few minutes after closing because of traffic, and Manda was willing to wait for me and assist me with registration and check in after clocking out. She was friendly and extremely helpful to me in my first experience renting and using a storage unit. Was told that she (Manda) and Jonathan are on-site basically 7 days a week, and provided their personal cell phone numbers to better be available to clients Would recommend this location!

Moving SUCKS. But Jonathan Bartush, the GM, made the experience SO much easier. I've rented at CubeSmarts and other storage facilities all over the country, but Jonathan is by far the most accommodating and attentive employee I've ever encountered. Boxes, truck rentals, you name it...he made moving my belongings into storage hassle-free. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Dude. If you store your things at any other unit you will be kicking yourself later. This is the best place to use, they're friendly fast and completely reliable. Reuben was amazing with helping me into my new unit even though I would only be here for a short time! They really care about you and making sure that the whole process goes smoothly. They found the ideal unit for me and all of my good stuff. Ha. Y'all make a lifelong customer out of me!

I travel a lot and am gone for weeks at a time. Rather than pay expensive airport parking rates, I chose CubeSmart to store my car. I've been very pleased with the garage. It's gated and locked up and I've always felt my car was safe. On my last trip from Oklahoma to the airport, I ran over something and put a hole in both of my right side tires. I was on a pretty tight schedule, but with some fix-a-flat and a couple stops for air, was able to make it to the garage (knowing I'd have to deal with the flat tires when I returned). About a week later I received a call from the friendly staff at CubeSmart, just notifying me that they noticed I had flat tires. They even offered to bring an air pump to air the tires up for me. I explained I wouldn't be back for a week, but would be forever grateful if they could bring the pump on the day of my return. Upon arrival, they had the pump ready to go. CubeSmart made a potentially very stressful situation a breeze. I am so grateful to be a customer at CubeSmart. They honestly care about their customers. If you are thinking about using their storage facility, I highly recommend it. Excellent, excellent, EXCELLENT!
