Do not use this place. Took me 10 times of reaching out to cancel my storage units ended up paying 2 months after I had cancelled and never was refunded. My items were stolen as well as multiple trailers in the facility have been stole throughout my stay I’ve gone in person, called the district manager, called corporate and sent emails to cancel and it’s almost like they have employees come and go and can never get anything figured out because it becomes someone else’s problem. You end up paying the price for mistakes. I feel bad for the new employees because we end up taking it out on them when it’s not their fault but management. Don’t risk it. Pay a little extra for security, or it will end up costing you a lot more.

For the past couple of months it seems like maintenance and security issues are occurring and reoccurring and reoccurring more than I recall in the past 10 years at this location. The main gate controlling access to the vehicle storage and loading dock for all inside storage has been standing open, allowing anyone to come and go during daytime and even night time hours. If the gate controller has a problem, i would think that a staff person would at least manually close and lock the gate at 10pm and manually open/unlock at 6am. In the past two weeks, I have been there 5 or 6 times and the gate was open/lot unsecured 4 times. As they have added additional storage floors and added units, they have not added additional carts, leading to several occasions where no carts are available to assist with loading/unloading. I have suggested that they should add new carts when they add new units, but still only 3-4 for the entire facility. This facility has units on the first, second and third floor. Units above the first floor are serviced by one elevator, which has been down on a couple of occasions. The elevator is in the center of the building the stairs are not close or clearly marked, which makes physically loading and unloading to upper floors very labor intensive and time consuming. There facility has 2 restrooms on the first and the second floor (each floor has women’s and men’s), but after a plumbing issue in the past that was repaired, they decide to keep the 2nd floor restrooms locked at all times, but it is used by store management exclusively. Not only is this inconvenient for people with storage on the upper floors, but it means that cleaning, resupply and maintenance issues with the restroom on the first floor often are unaddressed. I assume this is because they do not often see the condition of first floor restrooms. Fences and urine stains on floors and walls are sometimes left for weeks or months before being cleaned. Despite fixtures that provide two huge rolls of toilet paper, both have been empty and no paper supplies available on a few occasions in the past months. Normally, if rent is not paid on time, they physically overlock the unit to prevent access until rent is paid. When rent is paid via the app, phone or online, I assume a notice I is sent to store staff to remove the overlock as this has always been done within hours of payment being made. (If paid after hours, they unlock the next workday morning). I changed credit cards this month and forgot to update auto pay, so my rent was past due and they overlocked my unit, as they should have. But I paid online last Thursday around the tune the office would have been closing. I expected it would have been unlocked Friday morning or at least during the day on Friday. When I went on Sunday, the unit was still overlocked, preventing my access and requiring me to return Monday morning and ask a staff person to remove the overlock. Maybe it was good that the unit wasn’t accessible, since free gate was standing wide open (see above). For years, any concerns or issues could be emailed to the store manager and they would respond and often work to resolve the problem or communicate if they weren’t able to resolve the issue or it was delayed. I have sent several emails about most of the issues addressed above In the past month and have received no reply, no follow up and many of these issues continue. I have 2 stars because it is a nice facility, with decent security (when the gates and doors are working). It currently needs work and requires upkeep, but it has potential. They seem to have a lot of staff turnover in the past few months. Not sure why, but I’m certain that is one of the main reasons many of these issues are not being addressed.

Storage units are often sought precisely for such irreplaceable personal items. The policy's subjectivity and enforcement raise serious questions about its practicality and CubeSmart's understanding of their customers' needs. Through this ordeal, I've felt like an unwilling character in a story where logic and fairness are absent. This account isn't just about airing grievances; it's a cautionary tale for anyone considering CubeSmart. It serves as a stark reminder of the potential risks when a facility's policies and actions are at odds with customer expectations and basic fairness. In entrusting one’s belongings to CubeSmart, I unwittingly gambled with fate and became an inexplicable target in a narrative of guilt by association. A storage facility should be a reliable sanctuary, not a stage for Kafkaesque scenarios and unfair, impractical policies.

My experience at CubeSmart had been amazing. I moved here from another storage facility that was not clean or safe. Stewart has been very welcoming, helpful, and professional. We ended up getting a climate controlled unit which was really nice. Roll up door was smooth and easy to operate. The huge flatbed carts and elevators made moving from the vehicle to the unit easy. The property is very clean and orderly. The management is very friendly and helpful. The security after hours is limited to cameras focused on the entrance/exit points. Very little (quality) surveillance is afforded the outside storage areas where peoples RVs and trailers are kept though. In my experience, the cost of storage started out very reasonable but increased annually at a rate that simply became unsustainable. My overall experience here was good and I would recommend them as one of the better storage companies in the area.

Do not rent here! On multiple occasions I have seen a short bald man with a ladder looking into peoples storage units and taking pictures. I've had boxes moved around and the wire over the top has been resecured from the outside. The items that have been moved all have someone's dirty finger prints on them. I asked the front office about the guy and was told he was the maintenance guy for the building! The office checkd the cameras and told me that the cameras to that floor had been turned off one day for 4 hours.... I am appalled after finding this out and will not be renting here any longer. If you store here make sure to take pictures of everything before you leave. ??

Nov the 9th 2022 my trailer was stolen from Cube Smart I was there only 4 months. One of the guys from the facility had said they had high definition cameras and they had control over the place. After 20 years in business never thought I would lose everything in this place over $30,000 worth of trailer and equipment. Be careful who you trust and this place even being next to the police station is safe. Even with a $400.00 lock on the trailer it was taken. The guy was waiting for someone to open the gate to go in and also to come out. So sad ?? be careful it's not a good experience

Our company has been renting out various units and parking spots for the last year. We have spent thousands of dollars at this location. We have had 2 trailers stolen from this location. As of today we will no longer be renting from any CubeSmart. As we moved out today The rep at the front desk came yelling at us about our code gate, I explained to him what the situation was. He continued to argue we me and raise his voice. At the end of it all, he started to cuss us out. Walked about putting his hands up and still cursing and saying things to us. I would think anyone in that position would be more professional, especially dealing with a customer that has paid thousands of dollars at this location. Never again will our company rent from any CubeSmart.

Everything was easy and fine till I got to the room. I got a 4x5 room for overflow from a move. It would have fit everything except this room has a gigantic concrete column in it. I had to work around the column since the rental truck had to be returned. I am having to donate things that wouldn't fit into the room bc I have no place to store them. I feel like I am on Punk'd. Very disappointed with this place. The room would have fit everything without column. Be careful when you rent bc what you think you're getting,you might not. Not pleased.

Mu gate code never works and it has caused issues with my drivers getting trucks hence causing delays in operation and angry customers. Great experience with the Harry Hines Cubesmart. We were offered a great deal on 2 storage units and 2 parking spaces. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. The General Manger, Ranko (I think that's is name) is hilarious. He was great to deal with. The facility is very clean and I feel my belongings are safe. Very glad I found them. Wonderful experience. Storage made easy with great service. Ranko got me set up with a storage unit and advised me on the right size for what I needed at the best cost available. Storing everything was a breeze with the easily accessible loading bay and carts available for use to move everything from the car to the storage unit. The indoor facility is great and clean and they’ll even hold my mail for me.

I work remotely from Lubbock, TX but travel often to Dallas for various community health & wellness events. Had dollies on hand to use for moving heavier items into my storage unit which was very convenient and gave me one less thing to worry about. Michael was exceptional to work with. He answered all my questions knowledgeably, quickly identified and located the 5x10 storage unit I needed, guided me through the paperwork, and had me ready to move in with no unnecessary delays. He explained that pest control was in place (I personally saw evidence of traps) and I observed that the facility and restroom was clean and neat. I signed a 1-year lease and tested all my access points successfully. A 4-star experience at a great price with excellent access to Harry Hines Blvd.

This facility is Grade A. Clean, comfortable, accessible, secure, and climate controlled. Large, plentiful flatbed dollies are available for use. Management is top notch. I cannot say enough good things about this facility. I put a premium on customer service, and I can't think of any way they could impress me more with the quality of theirs.

Was helped by Ranko Milovanovic, who was a great conversationalist and very helpful; he did not try to sell a more expensive unit, but rather helped find the best deal for what I needed. The inside of the building is very clean, the unused units are also clean, the building's layout makes sense, and each floor has a map even if you do need help finding your unit. Of the three places I've now stored (the other two in College Station), this is the best location so far.

Public Storage operates in a very customer unfriendly manner. They promised certain open hours then unilaterally changed those without acknowledging this is a contract change. They have no plans to return to open hours they originally stated nor to even attempt to be open more hours. They also have neglected to fix the elevator for months and fix their security log in pads. In this day of 'screw the the poor man (customer)'' attitude of the current administration this business deserves an award signed by our 'loving' President for upholding it's values.

Ranko and Cruz went way beyond what would be expected when it comes to customer service. Our experience with confirming a place to park our RV and Truck was excellent. We felt very comfortable leaving our belongings in their care. To top it off we ran into a problem with our truck just hours before we were to catch a flight and the staff help arrange repair on site allowing us to catch our flight and do so with peace of mind. Very secure place!!!! You have to have a 10 digit code to get in and the same code to get in the door and once you go in they have these big carts to help you push all your stuff in. Very nice storage place !!!!
