Impossible to sign up online without enrolling in their insurance, which they straight up tell you is duplicate coverage if you already have homeowners or renters insurance. Their chat feature just tells you to type agent endlessly. Calling them goes to a national sales desk, where you can’t have anyone look at your account.

The manager Christie was very helpful answering questions about our upcoming use of the storage facility. We are moving from California and are using a 40 ft trailer to move our belongings. Christie was able to confirm the facility would be able to accommodate the trailer. Not all storage facilities have isles wide enough to allow this. She answered the phone promptly, assured us she would be at the facility if we had any problems. Christie even made notes on when to contact us because we would be on the road during the prior days of move in date. The facility is very reasonably priced. We will update our review once we arrive. The store number is 745. Great customer service Christie! Update: we vacated our unit at the end of December of 2022. We stored our belongings here for about 2 1/2 months while we looked for a home. We never had an issue while storing our things at CubeSmart. It was always easy to access, the grounds are clean and tidy. Kristy, the manager was terrific! From the beginning, she was helpful, courteous, polite, professional and has a great attitude. No billing issues and when we vacated the storage unit, Kristy again was very helpful and kind. Job well done!

My lawnmower was stolen out of my unit. The security is terrible. There are no cameras on most of the buildings, and you will get nothing at all from these people if your stuff is stolen. They don't care.

Our unit became infested with rats and we had to throw out about 90% of what we had in there. Childhood memorabilia, clothing, artwork, etc.. Everything was covered with droppings, things were chewed up and there was even a very large dead, decaying rat inside the unit. We could see rodent droppings in the hallway of the facility so it’s possible my unit wasn’t the only one. I had purchased insurance on the unit through CubeSmart and they are refusing to reimburse me for the losses because they said they don’t cover rodent infestation. I strongly advise using another storage facility.

Good morning I purchased a storage unit from each of the fort worth texas cubesmart location, thinking they were indoor. After finding out they were outdoor units I respectfully requested refunds. The basswood location provided refund but debited my account the very next day at 2am for the same amount. The north freeway account i believe only refunded me $19. I spent approximately $105-110, never opened unit, never placed anything inside the unit, and only visited one location. I have to receive the rest of my money back just an excuse that it can take some time or I can get an indoor unit at a greater price point.

Classic Bait and switch! If I could give 0 stars I would.. Reserved a storage on line.. website said only one 5x5 drive up available. Website stated 35% off AND half off first month. Seemed like a good price so I reserved on line. When I went to look at it, (unit number 505) it was clearly extremely smaller than 5x5, plus as the end unit had a big trench on side and huge gap under wall. Larry who I spoke to, was very nice and agreed to ask manager if an adjustment could be done with pricing as the size was clearly not what it stated on website. He also said the current promotion was 35% off AND ONE MONTH FREE. I spoke with Larry next day and he said the manager Beth would not give a price adjustment. I said I would think about it as I had a few days left on the reservation. Went in the very next day to take a tape measure to measure unit. Larry was off that day, and Beth the manager was then working. I told her I was interested in a 5x5 drive up and was there any available. She took me to look at one unit # 508. It, in deed was the acual size. But cost was full price. After I explained I had a reservation already at 35% off and first month free like Larry explained to me the day earlier. She proceded to tell me.. Larry was mistaken and it was either the 35% off or free month. I stated when I made the reservation it said AND half off on line. So she should at least honor that. She then stated they haven't had that promotion in a long time at half off also. Well.. their website still says AND half off.. I contacted corporate and also talked to Paul the district manager. To no avail.. In my opinion they are crooks..Obvious bait and switch.. they want to tell you that it is the only unit available in an attempt to try to dump the inferior unit. When they actually have more units available.... despicable!!!

Great place and good people. We went to look at a unit. They only had one in the office, and as busy as she was she took the time to help us out. Units were clean and well taken care of. We came back that week and rented a unit. No issues accessing the unit during the specified times. Lots of security and cameras. Overall great experience. I do wish there was better access drone eastbound Basswood to the business, but that’s not really something they can fix.

Over priced and they play games with their website access to accrue late charges in an unethical manner. They claim on their site and phone pay system that there are "free" payment options however, they have none. It's also a scam and you always end up with a "convenience fee" when paying their inflated monthly fees. I would NEVER suggest someone use their services unless it's someone I don't like.

A very pleasant and efficient experience! Harry was very thorough and helpful in making sure I had everything I needed to get my things into my new storage unit. Major plus is that there is Christmas music playing in the halls where the units are! The space is clean and very well maintained.

I have used this facility for 3 years. It is a nice facility. I am very pleased with the 2 previous managers, Richard and Carly. They are amazing , kind, understanding and treat me like a human. The new manager and whom ever she has brought with is the reason I am movong out of the complex. I have had a 10x20 for 3 years.. I am late on rent every so often but this month before the deadline, I get an email, not a friendly phone call as those before her did for me. The phone call the month before was mumbled and could not understand what they were saying but the tone was unfriendly. I felt more like a number/dollar sign/or unit then I did a human. I understand that Its a manager's job is to do those sort of things but to do them in the manner that she was, was unfriendly, unkind and I did not appreciate it. I appreciate Richard and Carly for handling matters professionally and kindly treating me with respect giving me friendly reminders and so on. If the new manager would have looked at my record and seen how long I have been using this facility and now with the price as it is that has gone up, as a manager I would want to keep that person happy and in a unit to keep the higher rent coming in. Not only for that business reason but for a friendly reason, taking care of my customers with respect and kindness I am sorely displeased with this location. If I need service again, I will go to the Davis Blvd location even though this unit is closer to my house. UPDATE: It has been 1 week since I cleaned out the unit and left this review. Their reply looked nice and so I did as they requested and sent them my contact info, but a week later I still have not been contacted. As a small business owner, I would work very quickly to right a wrong and at least try to end on a good note. In 1 week this review was viewed 17 times.. $55 to $150 for a unit x 17 people who may not want a unit now is a lot of business each month. I'm disappointed at the lack of customer service. Richard and Carly were always on top of their game and I would expect that from them at their new location. I will wait and see how long it takes for them to contact me. I want to give a good review, but only to a business that deserves it. Until next time. Update: 10-11-18 Still no communication.

We have had a great experience renting a unit and subsequently had to get a 2nd unit. We have had great customer service. Richard made sure the process went smooth and quick and even offered cold water for us which was much needed and appreciated in this Texas heat! The facility is very clean and the carts to help unload were a very nice bonus!

Richard is a fantastic host. He goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are happy. I've called on a number of occasions to discuss size options and availability. Richard is always extremely helpful. We moved CubeSmart locations over the weekend, due to size availability and Richard took care of us immediately, with truck rental and billing completion. I have rented from this location for just a little over a year now. The place has always been very maintained, clean, employees helpful! I have had a few ups & downs this last year an "Richard the store manager" saw me struggling yesterday to unload the "FREE TRUCK" one of the lil perks thats comes along with renting from CubeSmart. Richard walked out to me with cold bottles of water an said "you look like you could use some help" I tried not to impose on him but he insisted! He said let go lock up for a minute Ill be right back within just a few minutes of his return he had all my things reorganize in my unit an done!!! I could not have be more great-full THANKS AGAIN RICHARD!

I made my reservation and talked with Richard, the resident manager with a follow up phone call. For some reason, I just didn't think of the fact that I needed the unit the following day and had not asked Richard what I needed to do to complete the reservation to get into the unit. The next day, I was packing up a truck with my daughter's things and realized that I never got the info on the unit and how to get in. I was frantic because it was 4:50pm and I thought they closed at 6pm but realized they actually closed at 5pm! I was 45 min from the storage facility and called CubeSmart and Richard answered and said "so are you coming down to do the paper work for the unit?" I explained that the day got away from me because of packing and I was 45 min away and realized they closed in 10 minutes. He told me that he would wait for me if I could get there as soon as I could but to be safe and drive carefully! I honestly could not believe it! I left and got to CubeSmart in 40 min and he opened the door when I arrived! I was sooo incredibly thankful that he was willing to let me come late beyond the office hours. If he had not answered the phone and said he would stay until I arrived, I would've had to wait until the following day to unload and return the truck! He really saved me the extra time and expense! I was so grateful for him going the extra mile to serve a new customer! I would highly recommend this facility because of the customer service (you don't find many people who would be willing to let you come later than office hours) and because the unit was so clean that it was like I was in my own garage! I have rented storage units before and they were so dusty and dirty! Highly recommend this storage facility and appreciate Richard and his going the extra mile to accommodate a new customer! Thank you!!!
