Except for unit location… Good price, great customer service and convenient facility location. Everything was fairly smooth except for the unit I’m in. Anyone on the south side of “A” should receive a discount on the unit due to the maneuverability for a moving truck. Short angles prevent you from being able to pull up close the interior/exterior units facing south. A box truck of any kind will not be able to access the south-side of building A.

Five stars are absolutely not enough rating for this CubeSmart location and CubeSmart customer service as a whole. Saturday 11/25 we had rented a U-Haul trailer and were moving our belongings to another storage facility that we had rented the week prior. When we arrived to that said facility at around 3:30 pm, the elevator was out of order with no date or time of expected repair. There is access to stairs but we had several items the just absolutely couldn't carry up those stairs. I attempted to contact the on-site manager to see if we could temporarily utilize a downstairs unit while the elevator was being repaired and they could not be reached. The manager was not even on site. Mind you we have a U-Haul trailer that is to be returned that evening to avoid late fees. I contacted the customer service to said facility to only get the automated system. Fast forward an hour and now rain, I contacted CubeSmart Storage and not only did I get an actual HUMAN to speak to, I was able to rent a unit on the spot and better yet this facility is closer to our home. I was able to do everything over the phone with the customer service agent and then when we got to the facility at 4:45 Karen (the facility manager) was there and was more than accommodating as well as helpful. Even though she was scheduled to leave at 5pm she didn't present as rushed at all and was even willing to show us a different unit that may have been better for us. Without writing a whole long story, just know that the CubeSmart customer service is over the top and I HIGHLY recommend CubeSmart Storage and I thank CubeSmart for helping us when we were in a serious bind. You guys are the BEST!!

The storage was great at the beginning of move-in. The rate was great but increased through the years. The driveway was difficult to move in because it has pavers instead of concrete or asphalt. Also the entrance is too high. You have to lift items to get through the transition. I was able to find another storage unit, for half the price, without these issues through another business.

I just moved to the Georgetown area from California and needed a small storage unit for a couple of months. I googled storage units and this one popped up. It showed there was a 5x5 available so I chose it because it looked clean and is close to my apartment. As soon as I walk in I notice the manager Katrina give me and my friend a dirty look and did not even greet us. I asked if there was a 5x5 available cause that's what it showed online and she said she didn't know but would look. after looking for 5 mons she informed me rudely that the only thing available was climate controlled as if I still wouldn't book it. I said I would take it, she asked if I want to do the 1 free month of 35% off monthly. I said the free month since I only needed it for two months. She proceeds to tell me its $54.00, I pay and then ask her what that takes me to. She said only June, I ask her I thought I got a free month and she rudely again says I haven't paid anything. I asker her what the $54.00 was that I just paid then and she says it was for the admin, lock and insurance fee...Not once did she go over pricing with me or tell me what I was paying for, all she said was to swipe my cards. So then I tell her ok well then I want to pay for the month, she charges me an additional $53.00 for the month. I managed a storage facility for 3 years and know this is not how you run one. Super rude management who doesn't go over pricing or any hidden fees, I shouldn't have to pay for insurance or at least inform me that I have to pay for it. She also did not tell me how to use the gate code or how to get in or where my unit was located, I had to figure everything out on my own. The whole time we were there I felt like we were inconveniencing her. The two stars is for the gated property and how clean the inside of the unit was but I would not recommend renting here. I wish I would of taken my things else where but after just driving 1,500 miles I was all ready exhausted.

This storage facility is horrid. Go anywhere else. When I needed to open a unit, they were forty minutes late. Hey do not cover their claimed office hours. When I wanted to move out, I called in advance to let them know. I was told I didn’t need to, but I wanted to be helpful. When I went to get my items, the general manager was rude, unfriendly and nasty. Some people seemed to have good experiences. I guess it’s gone downhill under the new management. Go anywhere else.

I reserved a storage unit online. It was listed as inside, bottom floor, downstairs. When I arrived, I found that most of the storage units were outside, unless climate controlled. They are all the same level, there is no upstairs or downstairs. Mine was listed inside because when you walk up on it, the door is covered by a hallway that is still open to the weather. There are small holes on the walls of the storage units so if it were to rain, you can bet your stuff will be getting wet. I instantly felt remorse over this unit. When I arrived, there was a sign on the door that said be back at 4:30. It was after 5. I had to call the 800 number listed on the building. They had to call the workers there and have them come to the door. When the manager did open the door, I could instantly smell beer on her and she looked like she had been sleeping. The general manager came out later and her eyes were bloodshot and she was slurring her speech. I'm sure both of them were under the influence of something. I went back the next day and cancelled my unit. I didn't care about losing my payment. I just did not feel comfortable with my stuff there. If you are looking for a storage unit, I seriously suggest you do your homework before committing to one of these.

Moving from CA really can give a person the willies and I was sure that I had a reservation but it could not be found when we arrived. However, Krista made certain that I received the rate quoted when I furnished my copy and she did everything she could to make certain that I got the right size of space and that everything worked out. THANK YOU KRISTA!!! YOU RULE!!!

You are not allowed to access your unit between 9pm and 6am. You can pay a $35 fee and they will grant you a special code to let into your own stuff. Although management is on site, good luck with getting her to answer the phone.
