I have used Cube Smart for years. The service and the courtesy that this branch gives is amazing. They are friendly and nice and have a family vibe. There is a ginger bread house that was made by the clerk that she will give to toys for tots for Christmas. They are great!!!

Started at $185 for 10x20 unit. Price jumped $100 in 1 year ($205 to $305). For $300 a month, I can take out a small home improvement loan ($10k), build my own (much bigger) storage, and pay it off in 3 to 4 years. Bye Felicia!!

CubeSmart in FM-1460, Georgetown, TX is wonderful! The storage areas are clean and various sizes to fit any need. Any time I have needed to go to the office, the people have been very helpful and polite. I have 2 air conditioned areas but I have seen the non-AC ones and they are just as good. If you are thinking of using a storage building, don’t hesitate to use this CubeSmart.

I originally reserved a room online but didn’t make it in on the reserve date. I believe I did that last Thursday and finally came in on Monday. Both Eric and Cody were very polite and informative over the phone last week and Cody was awesome in person showing me the different sized rooms I asked about. He was very detailed going through the paperwork yet the process only took a few minutes. The facility is well kept and I feel secure mentally knowing my things are safely stowed away there.

I used CubeSmart to store some household items during a move. CubeSmart increased my payments by $32.00 after about 4 month. This year there was another increase by $39.00 for a total increase of $71.00 in tar less than two years. I'm left with the impression that CubeSmart does not value their customers and certainly does not want customers to store their items for extended periods of time. Even though I feel cheated because of the large price increases, I have to admit that the CubeSmart property is fairly clean and apparently secure.

Nice staff, clean facility. I paid for "climate control", and never could tell much of a difference, if any, between the temp in the building and my unit, and the temp outside. Their app has never worked for me, even had an employee attempt to help get it going the first few months we were there and it would not. Had the unit for a few years, because the price was right and it was convenient. Moved, tried changing address, apparently was told wrong or misunderstood because in the end they hadn't changed it, so my payment didn't process (first time since moving in) as the address was wrong for the card now. Had to go there, straighten that out, no biggie.. Then I get notice they are doubling my rent. That stopped my laziness about moving. Now in an actual climate controlled facility, for less than I was paying before the rate jump.

I rented too small of a unit. I had spoke to a representative on the phone, admitted my error and asked if my husband could change our reservation. He informed me that he couldn't due to not being on the paperwork. Understandable. I told him my husband might just rent a new unit and I would cancel mine. He informed me that what I paid wouldn't be applied to the next unit if that happend, I told him I UNDERSTAND and that it was fine. I called my husband and let him know. When he went in the representative repeated the same thing, which he already knew. He asked if he could see a unit before renting it. Just to make sure we didn't rent one too smal once again. He was told "No". Just no. Taken aback, he asked why and he said he couldn't let us store anything in there until we got the unit. My husband informed him he wasn't putting anything in it and was asking for their assistance when viewing the unit. He just didn't want to make the same mistake again. He was told No. Then when he went back there to grab our Uhual he saw THE SAME REPRESENTATIVE taking a couple back there to view units. I'm not sure if he was defensive thinking we would try to fight the policy, but I had already agreed to pay the month for the unit I rented. We literally just needed help to view a unit and that was apparently too much. For a very non confrontational conversation on our end, the representative was extremely defensive and unhelpful.

First moved into a new climate controlled unit. Got water damage to my new rug for my new house. They took zero responsibility. I moved the remaining goods to higher ground non climate control. The dust,bugs and webs are a nightmare! They increased regularly 99.00 to 111.00 and then tp 125.00. Theyt do not keep trash bin on site which made sorting cleaning etc a nightmare too! I will never use this Cubesmart again! I would give the zero stars if I could.

I reserved a storage based on urging of online info related to COVID. Once I arrived with items from a move I found I did not need the extra storage space. Even though I never took possession of the storage and cancelled within 3 days of original online request I was changed for the full month including admin fee of $25. When I asked about this the local manager said at least I won’t be charged for next month since he is canceling right now! Why would anyone want to do business with a company with that attitude!!! I can understand being charged for the admin fee but not for the full month of storage. Not fair practice!

I initially called in this place and made a reservation with Dillan. He was extremely helpful and courteous he told me everything I needed to bring. The next day Dillan was not there and “Alejandro” was. Even though I had a valid Military photo ID he would not give me the rate that was agreed upon. Then he said my fathers and my motorcycle could not be stored there even though I had insurance with both of our name on it. He doesn’t seem concerned with his work ethic and I don’t recommend him his location unless you deal with Dillan. I drove an hour to this location from Bastrop since I was moving and since I couldn’t store the Motercycle it was a wasted trip.

I contacted this Georgetown location and they were very upfront on the billing, fees, insurance requirements, and the terms of use. No hidden fees, no jumping through hoops to get them to accept my Homeowner's Insurance as coverage. It took 10 minutes from start to finish to confirm my reservation, view the storage unit, and get the paperwork filled out. I was super impressed with the speed of it all, the outstanding customer service, and the cleanliness of the location. Dillon was super friendly and knowledgeable which made the experience that much better. He seemed truly happy to help.

Having lots of experience renting storage units in several States and Provinces, I found CubeSmart a bit aggravating to deal with during the leasing process. The leasing folks are located elsewhere (PA) and are somewhat cagey and expert salespersons that do a lot of nickel and diming to extract as much revenue from you as possible. Really difficult to get the bottom line price without a long song and dance. The leasing process builds more value (for them) at each step... Base storage fee (try to upsell you), add Admin fee, mandatory insurance (12$/mo covers the less common hazards), mandatory no cut- lock, no part-month rental, heavy penalties if you miss due dates. Property was rather neat, my unit was a bit littered with dead bugs (better than live though) and there is plenty of crevices between units to allow critters to visit adjoining units. Overall ok, but expect to pay more than you maybe were expecting. Myself, I prefer the bottom line and being up front with the total monthly costs. Outside parking storage for trailers and boats appears to be a bit much for me.

Got storage at Georgetown location Oct 17, 2019....closed account Oct 21, 2019...the property manager (Dillion) accused me of drinking alcohol (which I wasn't, not to mention it was in the morning) and that was my first and last warning. So I decided to close the account. It's now Nov 2019 and I've been trying to get a refund and been getting the run around from cubesmart. This location is a joke... making false accusations against their customers.

If I could give this location 0 stars, I would! I do not recommend this storage facility. The staff left the access gate open 24/7 for 3 weeks. Due to this our travel trailer along with 4 others and 1 boat were broken into in mid February. We were told by CubSmart that we must file against our own insurance despite the negligence of the CubSmart staff leaving the access gate open for the construction crew to come and go. We contacted the division vice president and he told us to take the travel trailer and obtain an estimate of the damage and he "would see what he could do". We obtained the estimate and paid $125.00 to be told that the estimate fee along with the $1400.00 in damage from the break in were not going to be addressed. Very poor customer service!!!

Facilities and staff are no better or worse than any other self storage place. However, over the past year, they have doubled what they charge. I had a 10X20 unit that started out $125, five years ago. When I closed my account yesterday, it was $275 a month! There are many rentals available around the Georgetown area that charge much less. I live less than a half mile from this CubeSmart. But, the convenience was no longer worth the 'price gouging' rate I was paying. I moved all my stuff elsewhere!
