Avoid at all cost. This is an unsafe and insecure facility. They are well aware of the issues but do nothing. I have spoken to facility and regional management about these severe issues multiple times. The result is zero. We were broken into three times. Homeless people are living here - I witnessed this first hand. Go elsewhere! Update 6/26/2023 - Broken into again!! Unbelievable!! What a joke.

Very unpredictable and unprofessional. The GM here is not reliable and don't get behind due to a death in the family or severe medical situation because they will do their best to auction your unit off regardless of the situation. I will never rent from another CubeSmart again. From the GM to upper management they aren't customer service oriented. I literally had a miscarriage the day after speaking to a senior manager who upset me so badly when I was begging her to allow me to move my things out of the facility because the only thing in there was my deceased mother's things who had recently passed away. I also explained my father had passed away June 9, 2022 after the miscarriage on May 20, 2022. I understand a business is a business which is why I repeatedly requested to be contacted to pay because the phone was not being answered to make a payment until the point I was charged late fees in excess as well as a lien fee that exceeded $100. Don't rent here Public Storage is much better even Uhaul Storage at this point.

I was in the store last week,I didn’t end up renting a unit because my move date got pushed back but I will definitely be back to rent from CubeSmart. Let me just say I have seen a lot of businesses snub people due to appearance. A man walked in and asked about a storage unit and Lisa was very polite,very professional but very much so a decent kind human. She told the man she would be right with him and offered a bottle of water to him while he waited. I got a phone call and told her to go ahead and help the gentleman out. That’s when I found out my moving date got pushed back. She exchanged information with the gentleman and he was interested in seeing a unit. I told her about my moving situation and she asked if there was anything else that I may need and I told her that I would make a reservation when the time came.I asked her what her was name. I told her thank you and I left. CubeSmart is one of the most professional, outstanding, Ethical behavior Lisa had use of correct manners and etiquette. I went in to CubeSmart to purchase some packing material. Lisa was such a great help! FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!! She not only help me with my bubble wrap but asked a few questions and reminded me that I needed to purchase more then just bubble wrap! I ended up purchasing some wrapping paper, tape and an extra large bubble wrap. I told her that I was packing and hoping to put my stuff into storage at CubeSmart but I wasn’t sure for what day I would need a storage unit. She told me I could make a reservation through their smart rental, on line, call or even come back into the office!! She was very sweet and very patient with me she walked me to my car and helped load my items as well!

Rented a unit at 7939 Westheimer and when I rented it I noticed that the light did not work because the bulb was missing. The very nice woman in the office said it would be taken care of by Thursday (last week). I waited till the following Monday to move in to give them four more days. When I showed up there was no light. To add insult to injury the hasp to which the lock attaches fell off the door so I could not put a lock on. Called on Tuesday twice and left messages -- nothing. Not very good customer service especially for a new customer.

This location is excellent except for one thing...the gate entry box is not drive-up. You have to get out of your vehicle to enter the code. This is very inconvenient especially if you're alone. Despite that issue, I repeat that this is the best storage facility I've dealt with. My son rented a unit at this location. Cheryl worked with him to get a unit across from mine so it would be easy to move his things. I want to add to my previous review that this facility is clean. While watching the movers load my son's unit, I leaned against a crossbrace not caring if I got my moving clothes dirty. Amazingly you could have passed a white glove test. I wish my office was that clean!

I leased from this place and on the first visit to my unit I was told I had to put my code into to exit. The gate was already opened and the employee was standing by the keypad without a mask. Told her I understood and drove off since the gate was open. Now they send an email stating I violated the lease and they are charging me $100! I spent 2 days trying to get a storage at this location. I will also be calling corporate and complaining about the manager. Insurance: After emailing the declaration page and a customized letter directly from State Farm showing that Cube Smart has been added to my policy. The manager didn't want to accept it. She tells me.. "Get our insurance for only on month and then we can accept your insurance" *they make it impossible to use our personal insurance -- in my opinion - they are receiving Commission. I was going to call state farm and go through other loops but decided to call Public Storage. Public Storage was the Best decision I could have made. 5min talking to the sales rep, very professional, he took my reservation and send me a link to fill out all my info and credit card.. After 10 min I was done.. And they accepted State Farm no question asked and the storage was a better price. I recommend Public Storage.

Well from our experience here. We had with this storage unit for about 1 month and got evicted. They warned us once about not letting visitors come by to pick up furniture from the unit we are using. But they didn’t tell us we couldn’t do it during after hours, we proceed to do it for the second time. They then called us the second time to evict us. #1 the policy on letting customers or people in and out is bias. Because customers or random strangers will come by to check out the storage unit spaces if they’re interested in renting it out or not, so why is it not allowed to have someone come to YOUR UNIT while they are being monitored to pick up furniture? #2 They should have been more specific about rules and policies on letting people in and out. They said we couldn’t “sale it” on property. We did the transaction outside of the unit and had someone pick it up. They could be better about having a visitors come by having a check in and out sheet. If you are the authorized unit owner, and is monitoring your visitor. #3 they could have gave us 3 chances, instead of just 2 chances. It just show how much they care on customer service.

I have never rented a storage before and didn’t know how the process worked at all, so I found that there were cheaper rates online so I reserved a cube and went to visit the Cube Smart. When I got there, the General Manager, De’Anna Scott and the Manager, Kyrie Clark greeted me very kindly and went over the pricing after walking me to show me my unit. Along with that, they helped me get an even CHEAPER rate when I went in person for the 2 months instead of the price I reserved online. Kryie was super hopeful in securing storage. She worked with me over a 3 week period before I made a confirmation. When I first went to CubebSmart I was overwhelmed and frustrated Kryue was sympathetic and understanding. She spelled at the prices and numbers. I did visit several places and talk to them. None of them had the compassion and empathy that Kryue provided. I would strongly recommend this place Base on staff as well as financially being reasonable. This is the best place. Staff was outstanding, knowledgeable and priceless

I had a wonderful (EASY) experience this CubeSmart location. The manager and associate who assisted me, were polite, responsive and personable. The associate that helped me took the extra time to walk me to my unit and show me the quickest route. Even when their system was having problems they made it to where I had nothing to worry about. I will definitely be recommending CubeSmart, specifically this location! These young ladies were stellar!

I visited Cubesmart a few days before moving from Cypress, and I was able to speak with Mr. Cole (Associate) and Ms. Scott (Property Manager) about my needs. These two individuals were extremely helpful. They were patient, polite, and attentive. At one point, I wanted to shop around for another storage unit just to compare prices. Both Mr. Cole and Ms. Scott encouraged me to fund the best deal (because they were confident I would stay with Cubesmart). They provided feedback about other facilities, as well as gave me directions and phone numbers. They informed me that customer satisfaction was what they were after. As long as the customers were happy, they were happy! Their customer service was through the roof. Once I decided to stay with the company (prices, customer service, and location was unbeatable) they went above and beyond, once more to ensure my move in was effortless. Due to their hard work, and kindness my move was flawless!!! I will ALWAYS go to these two for my storage solutions!!! Also, while I was at the facility, Ms. Jackson(Store Manager) from the Washington property was present and assisted me with renting a truck. Ms. Jackson walked me through the process, step by step and answered all questions. Ms. Jackson ensured me that I would not have any issues with this company, and she was correct!!! After I finished renting the truck, she provided me with her work schedule for the following day (when the truck was needed) and the direct phone number to her store. Unfortunately, I was unable to rent the truck, because we used two pick up trucks and I called Ms. Jackson a bit late. Ms Jackson was VERY professional and stated she understood thing she happen, but she would be more than willing to assist me in the future. These three individuals have made this entire process as easy as can be. I highly recommend this company to anyone!!!!
