Durring hurricane Beryl Ian showed compassion and understood our stress while moving. The movers was forcing us to take delivery while everything was without power and gate would not open. Ian helped us with a plan and scheduled a day for delivery while opening the gates manually. He even went across the street to purchase water for the movers cause of the extreme heat. Thanking you again, great customer service.

We had a terrible experience with the manager, Ian. He canceled our contract once the movers had already loaded the unit full of my mother's belongings. There's A LOT to the story, but in a nutshell, I was fearful of Ian's irrational, possibly racist attitude and hyper attention on us. He refused to give me anything in writing when I asked. He also refused to give me a number to someone to contact above him. It's been two weeks, and I have yet to be contacted by corporate, even though Ian assured me they would contact me. Additionally, the climate controlled units are not being cooled properly, which Ian informed me when I rented the unit. Definitely do not recommend this location due solely to the actions of Ian and complete lack of corporate response.

The facility itself is always clean. I never wrote a review but this time I had to. I would like to compliment the young man Ian and the young lady Julia. I've had my unit about 8 months and from the first day I met Ian he was a very nice polite well spoken young man. He gave my family and I customer service on a whole different level. He referred to us by name Mr and Mrs. He also had an answer for every question we had and for the ones he didn't have answers for he stopped researched and got back with us. Every time I call he greeted me very nice and warm and was able to answer questions and always return my phone calls. This young man has taken what CubeSmart storage and the way his parents have raised him and created a dynamic customer service technique for a great experience. Julia also has great customer service since I've met her and I believe it's been a month. Trust and believe I will be given more updates on this dynamic pair customer service. Thank you both for all you have done for my family and I as we went through hard times tornadoes and storms. If I ever leave CubeSmart storage I will return because of the great customer service of Ian and Julia.

If you want somewhere where they raise the rent every 2, 3 months and do it sneaky. You start out at 100 next thing you’re at 140+ Don’t bother wasting your time either, employees tell us you pay for an AC storage and it’s always broken (yes they told us it’s broken, no compensation at all) . I’ve been here almost a year and I’m leaving at the end this month. Go somewhere else save your $$$ Run your business out of another storage unit. Not here. And if you’re late leaving, you might as well pack a tent, you might not be getting out.

Not very friendly here. If you are 1 minute late getting out of your unit they will lock you in the gate until they decide to let you out. I've had storage units for 30 years at may different places and this is unheard of

Worst experience ever, Went to help my daughter move her stuff out of storage and got locked in not knowing that the gate will not open after 10 o'clock even if you're inside. They couldn't give us a gate code to open the gates and get out so they told us to leave our vehicles there, Have somebody come pick us up and come back tomorrow To get our vehicles. Not gonna happen so after about an hour and a 1/2 finally somebody showed up to open the gate for us. I would not recommend this company to anybody. That's terrible to keep people locked up like that.

The first contact was very friendly. She explained the specials, the rates, sizes of the storage and billing. She stayed on the phone with me and walked me through the paperwork. My email messages were immediate. I received a phone call explaining how to get into the storage area. When I arrived he came out and helped me get through the gate and to my storage area. I am very please with my experience dealing with CubrSmart! I reserved my storage on line and to my surprise they are a company of their word. I was sitting after I observed my space and lord and behold my phone rings and it’s Sarah. I was caught off guard and shocked. Sarah was so pleasant and answered all of my questions and concerns about the entire process. This morning I pull up and Ian opens and Honda the door for me and welcomes me in with awesome energy and a smile I could see even with his mask on! Ian and Sarah are were very warm and welcoming! $142 for an outdoor 10x10 turned into $159 after a couple of months. I get it; business is business and everything is STC. Raising monthly rental rates during widespread unemployment and evictions is unconscionable. The higher-ups of Cubesmart should've sat down and cut their costs wherever possible instead of leaving customers to hold the "bag". I hope current customers shop elsewhere and future customers stay away.

My fiance and I were very lucky to find this location. Granted, there are CubeSmarts and other storage facilities throughout Houston, but the staff at this location exceeded expectations. He was friendly, helpful, and even went at great lengths to point out work that is currently underway at the facility, even though the current status of certain things wouldn't have bothered us to begin with. This show an attention to detail that I sincerely appreciate. I feel very secure in using this facility and will continue to do so as long as it is needed and will definitely return in the future if necessary.

The initial set up was easy and contactless which I appreciated but I called two days after paying for a storage and let them know I didn’t need the storage and hadn’t even been in there. I asked if I could have my money back or at least a potion of it and she told me no. She said she would ask her manager but never called me back. I felt that was completely unfair especially seeing I paid 17.99 for a lock that I never even touched and they are going to gain money from again!! “First month free” but I end up coming out of 80 dollars. Total rip off I’ll never even think to use them again! Especially with the rude customer service and lack of understanding.

I am really glad I decided to use the CubeSmart on Beamer for my storage needs. Home remodeling is stressful enough as it is, but at least there was no stress involved in dealing with not 1 but 2 storages. Very clean. They are very vigilant about walking the property checking on things, as well as offering friendly chit chat to the clients. Kim and her team are amazing! Thanks guys. This is by far the best place yet ... public storage was charging us same day fee of 103 excluding the key and insurance they make u pay CubeslSmart however had a deal where u can choose a storage and get first month rent free and if u choose a bigger storage u pay 35 same day and that's including buying a key and insurance also u get insured for up to 2,000 and up love thos place and would highly recommend the staff is very nice lovely ppl they were very good to my children and that's all I need to know andnyour good in my book great place yall!!!

I love CubeSmart on Beamer Road, Houston. Not only is the place clean and well organized, but Brenda and Anthony are so knowledgeable about any and everything related to storage. I'm a college educated professional and I pay consistently every month. I had just started to use the restroom and I do each time to change before work or working out and keep extra clothes in storage, which shouldn't matter anyhow since I pay for the service. Tonya was banging on the bathroom door after I was in there five minutes. I pay every month on time and she insulted me when I asked her to stop, which she lied and said she didn't hear me after repeatedly telling her I was in there. Please look into this thank you!

This facility is great! Always clean and at night you feel secure. The restroom is surprisingly always very clean and doesn't smell stale or like a public restroom. The office ladies, Anna and Brenda are very warm and welcoming as soon as you walk in the door. Their personalities seen so natural like that southern hospitality that makes strangers feel like family. Anna is like that cousin that's like a sister, and Brenda is like your favorite aunt that look forward to visiting. I'd totally recommend this location to any and everybody.

I must say i am overly satisfied with the service that cubsmart gave me. I have NEVER been to a storage facility where a person looks and feels like THEY love THERE JOB! I want to give a SHOutOuT to Ms Brenda for assisting me with choosing the perfect storage for a great PRICE! Ms Brenda was so welcoming and accommodating with my needs and answering EVERY question with accuracy and precision. She went above and beyond for me. He multitasking skills we're awesome THERE we're a few kids running around unattended trying asking for water over and over after giving them 6 bottles the first time lol and there in and out the building and still with calmness, coolness, collectiveness, and that same warm smile she greated me with still assisted the kids and me and made sure they didn't go back behind the counter. I was very impressed. If you guys need a storage facility go THERE most storage palaces employees are dull and boring and i know its just a storage PLACE it was still great customer service and the price was affordable. I highly recommend this location. The service received was not only professional, but also personable. Brenda, the manager, was very patient and answering my questions and took the time to dialogue with me about various storage options that enabled me to identify one that best met my budget and storage needs. The storage facilities are clean and they have helpful equipment (flatbed dolly) to aid in the move in process. The hours for access are very convenient, and I appreciate Brenda's follow-up with me to make sure all was well with my experience. The registration process was fairly easy and quick. Chelsea was very courteous, patient and knowledgeable about self storage in general. My wife and I were able to walk away satisfied. Even the customer service over the phone was helpful, which required follow up from the front office and was done so in a very timely manner. I've gotten self storage at this location before when it was under another name and got great service. So when I think of self storage, this location on Beamer Road is always the first place I think of and I continue to receive great service.

I chose Cubesmart a bit over two years ago at the Beamer location as it is very near my office. I figured it would be easy to get to my things should I need to add or subtract. What a great choice I made. The staff at this location was polite and friendly the first day I arrived, showed me a unit that would be appropriate for my things, and it's been a great experience. I have always found the facility clean and well-kept, and there are always rolling carts available to access when things cannot be carried easily. I am in the service industry myself, and I would advise any local residents who need storage unit availability to strongly consider this CubeSmart location.

My husband and I recently got a storage unit here at CubeSmart on Beamer Rd. Our experience was wonderful! The lady at the desk, Brittany, was very helpful and answered all our various questions very patiently and efficiently. The storage itself is clearly organized, with trolley carts to help us carry our things to our unit. The place is well-lit, and with plenty of security cameras. The only problem we had was that the space is a little tight in the driving/parking area, especially if there are others loading/unloading their things, but it can be worked around if people are willing to be polite and give space as needed. Overall, great experience!

I have read many bad reviews about this storage facility but because of its location and pricing I decided to rent one here anyways and I am so glad that I did. The staff was so helpful on getting my account set up and answering my questions. They explained all the rules and regulations very clearly. They showed me around and made sure everything was ok with me. I forgot my gate code the first time I went back to put stuff in my unit and the manager stayed open a few minutes late to help me. I am very glad that I did not listen to the bad reviews.

I booked online and someone called me to make sure I had all the info, I have friend in storage and have rented a unit before from another company. This was by far the worst experience. I will never go back to cube smart, let me tell you why. Because I was unable to get my stuff packed and over to the units across town I called and said I would have to send my mother so she could secure the unit before 5PM. My mother showed up at 3pm and took care of the whole thing. The person working said she knew there was a "company lock" on the unit and my mother was assured that would be taken off before the end of buisness. Now I arrive with a moving crew I paid for at 5:30pm and the info my mother sent me let me into the gate and I followed the instructions to find my unit, spot on except now we have an issue, there is the "company lock" still on my unit and since it was 5:30 I couldn't get go request the employee take it off, the place closed at 5PM. I can't get into my storage unit to drop my stuff off with the moving company. Quick thinking on my part allowed me to get my stuff into another storage solution and I went back with my mother to request the refund, only to be met with another employee who is "unclear on how much will be refunded" Since they prevented me from accessing the rented space I said I believed they owed my mother $100% anything less would be completely unsatisfactory. The employee called his District manager and we were told to followup in a few days. I have informed my mother to contact the credit card company and do a charge back, these folks seem to not understand how to provide a simple service.
