Very affordable and easy to set up account. Clean unit. Air controlled unit not very cool. No light inside the unit. Tight drive space. Very difficult for two vehicles to maneuver through the pathways. Large pothole at entrance of property.

We moved our belongings from a different self storage facility. This CubeSmart was clean and secure with easy access. The other place had inconvenient hours and was dirty and rat infested. The size was perfect and the price was reasonable.

By far the best storage unit we’ve experienced in Houston. I run a nonprofit A Heart Like His Ministries and it’s not easy. Daily we use every dollar to aid Houstonians in great need. We have three units with Cubesmart. It’s been tuff to pay our charity units but Misty has been so respectful and still firm. I can’t tell you how much we appreciate the outstanding customer service and the respect. I’ve cried with other companies where we also store. It’s been heartbreaking to say the least. I received a call from Misty yesterday just letting me know are account was due. I told her thank you and ended the call. I decided to call right back to just say thank you for always being nice and kind. I almost cried just from the respect shown. Great job!

It was so so they don’t tell you that you have to go to two different locations 1 to pay for your storage and 2 you go back to the other location to store your things. Then I was sold the wrong lock once I got to my storage and stored all my things I then discovered I was sold the wrong lock but thankfully Michael was there to save the day.

I had no true problems other than the rent increase for a unit that was not climate controlled to be paying almost 200 bucks is highway robbery period. I understand that things go up but it was becoming unsustainable 180.00 dollars a month for storage with the assurance that the increases would continue was not an option! I flew to Houston from Cleveland to close this account in the almost seven years that I’ve had the unit I’ve paid thousands of dollars only to have to sign away what we had in there rather than continue to struggle to pay these ever increasing rent prices… it simply was not worth it! My unit was also rummaged through and some items removed as well when they changed the locks with no explanation as to why they were being changed… The staff was always nice and as helpful as they could be but the unaffordability outweighed everything. Long story short rent here for good customer service but be prepared for ridiculous yearly hikes for your rental and possible thieves as well.

Wish I can put a negative star. Been with this location since 2017 and started with 3 storages for my late mother's items. One of the storages got damaged by water leaking inside the roof of the storage severely and most of the items were damaged. I attempted to file a claim, sent all the photos and proof to the insurance agent through the insurance company they use. I waited to see the outcome and next thing I know..the contact information no longer worked. I brought it up few times to the former manager who was rather upset and defensive at the accusation, while staring and seeing the proof while I complained. The times was entirely too stressful and difficult to deal with the situations surrounding needing the storage in the first place...that I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I made more attempts and was told that its too late, even after being told by district mng to send in pics. I would still like further investigation into the matter.

I have never been to a storage facility with such a courteous and helpful manager/staff. They helped me determine the size unit I would need and gave me fair prices up front, no extra hidden fees or charges. Within 10 minutes I had a unit, key/lock, and access code ready to move in. They make you feel secure about renting a unit with them which is important. Moving is stressful but Sal the manager helped make my transition as smooth as possible!

Beware and Check your unit. This location is infested by vermin. My unit was damaged. All my personal stuff is contaminated with vermin feces. Cubesmart does not want to take responsibility after insurance deny the claim. They know there’s a problem. They even try to fix it but don’t want to help their customer. You are on your own. Beware!

100% Blackmailer. I would let all my friendly circle and folks know that Cube Smart is black mailer. I had been renting for 8 years and due to my extensive travelling sometimes I am late for 3 or 5 days. They charge late fees, which is ok. I was out of country and my technician wanted to put some equipment in the store. They did not let him in because I was 2 days late in making payments. The manage CJ told me upfront that if payment is not made all the items would be auctioned. That was ridiculous. Cube smart is very unfriendly, rude, and blackmailer. I moved my stuff out of their storage and found a much cheaper place with nice and friendly staff. So hell with you Cube Smart.

I've only been here once, and haven't been a customer here, so I can't really comment on the quality of the service. I can say that the facility was clean. However, the lanes are incredibly narrow. If there is another vehicle there while you're there, there's a good chance you'll have trouble getting around inside the gates.

In reaching out to Cube Smart recently to make a telephonic payment, it was discovered that I was not in their database, although I had moved items into my unit on September 11 as we cleaned out our flooded home. New manager CJ came to the rescue. He restored my rental contract and gave me November free as compensation for the disarray his predecessor left behind. Mark was extremely helpful in getting me set up with what I needed. A few days later, I figured out that I needed an additional unit and again, Mark was extremely helpful. The two units I rented were clean and the facility appeared to be well maintained.

Average, typical annual rate increases, after couple years you will be paying triple what a new renter would pay which is kinda dump. No loyalty to existing long term customers.

Store # 264 : CJ (Manager) is a great advocate for excellent supervisor skills and down to earth. Sal (Assistant Manager)provides great customer service with a smile and politeness. CJ and Sal are friendly,helpful and I Enjoy the business. Cubesmart is a good company to do business with and they care about their customers, always have what you need with no pressure and with clean facility.
