I was saddened to receive another call that my storage unit had possibly been vandalized and that I needed to come and inspect my belongings. Upon arrival to the storage facility I was greeted by Pete who was very helpful and went with me to do the inspection. He was very forthcoming about what happened and explained that unfortunately thieves had been able to access the property and just trying to see which units could be broken into by cutting the locks and actually kicking in the storage unit doors. Pete suggested that I purchase a second lock (which I did) and I know that I will be moving my belongings out soon. Although I met Pete under unfortunate circumstances he was very very helpful and kind. If you're ever in need of a storage space I would not recommend a place like cubesmart but instead somewhere with inside storage units where you have to have a code to get in and out of the hallways where the units are located. I have had my storage unit here over a year and this will be the fourth call like this. I understand people break into anything and that it's not cubesmart s fault for other people's behavior.

Although their prices went up, they are proving their worth. Recently, there were a couple of incidents where some of the units were vandalized and damaged, we were notified right away and asked to come and inspect our unit. We were not able to do so right away until a month later. We also misplaced our key. They did the proper process of asking for ID and filing out paperwork to get the lock cut off, and because the latch was damaged the on-site maintenance man, Pete, removed and replaced the whole latch fixture, not just put a cheap band aid on it. Pete was very helpful throughout the process, and we left feeling that our belongings were safe and secure. Thank you.

In a world where the forgotten art of true Customer Service has been lost, I am happily here to report that it IS NOT lost at this particular place of business! From the moment that I entered the store's office, I met Ms. Debbilyn! What an absolute breath of fresh air! I felt as if we had known each other forever! She went above and beyond EVERYTHING within her capacity to assist me with the storage needs that I immediately required! Realizing that I am new to the area (Flight Attendant based at Bush Intercontinental Airport), the very knowledgeable Ms. Debbilyn provided me with such valuable and useful information! As the aforementioned was taking place, in walks a fellow employee of Ms. Debbilyn, known as Mr. Pete! After introductions were made, Mr. Pete drove my son and I through the immaculate storage facility property to view the type of storage unit that we required for my son's belongings from his University Of Texas apartment, which by the way, Mr. Pete was most accurate about the size that we needed! By the time we returned to the office, Ms. Debbilyn had reserved a suitable unit for me with a most excellent price! OMGSH!!!!....no hassle, no stress, no anxiety......I was beyond blessed to work with TWO AMAZING PROFESSIONALS who are absolute masters in the art of Customer Service! MUST READ! I was curious to see any reviews that would be similar to the issue I had here. 3 years ago I had a storage here. My whole life was in that storage. And I always questioned that it was the staff. They went through all the footage and supposedly never found anything. And they mentioned they wouldn't be able to tell anyhow. Crazy part is I knew exactly what month my things were stolen. Within 3 weeks it was narrowed down to. And still they were not able to find footage. Which that made it very suspicious. I had 3 flat screens, daughter's wiiu, switch, games, all marvel up to that date collection bluray movies. Star wars collection. Disney collecting. Estimating about 80 bluray movies total. Clothes, bunk bed, a whole bedroom set I was still paying off Rooms to go. A small safe. My clothes. Shoes. Tax documents. Diplomas. Very important documents. Jewelry. Brand new Sony camera I had just got as a gift. A telescope. My sofa set. New LG washer and dryer. All new mattress with protector. A huge standing mirror. Shelf. Glass table to sit 6 ppl. Which they broke the glass so they left that there. But still took the table frame and chairs. Decorations. Rug. Vacuum cleaner. All cleaning supplies. All dishes. Bike. I literally got wiped out. So much more that even til today some things come to mind that were there. Including 1 rifle and 2 guns which was a separate report I had to do. To only get 2,000 back I believe it was. I was only going to have for 6 months there. And they made sure to break into it at month 2. I do still have the police report. If any of you know or come across anyone that I can reach out to in regards to investigating this. Please do let me know. I just came to see the comments and apparently, I wasn't the only one who thought something was off. This was my whole life. And did some serious emotional damage to a single mother with 2 daughter's.

This place needs to be fully shut down and prosecuted to fullest extent of the law! They are using an extra set of keys that match the lock THEY provide upon you moving in and going into your units and STEALING your belongings!!! There are several investigations I recently became aware of for people experiencing the same thing that just happened to me!!! THE employees are running a scam to STEAL and took over 30k worth of shoes, clothes, electronics from me!!! I have reported them to the local authorities and the FBI as well!!! Do not rent from here!!!!

I had my storage unit broken into. It is space A107 right behind the office. They managed to steal a 75 inch TV with hundreds of dollars worth of stuff! I asked management to view security cameras with me and they stated it’s against company policy to let customers view their footage! The manager at the facility was very unhelpful and super rude! I asked what do I need to do and she was like “I don’t know, you can call the police” like obviously but I had renters insurance through cubesmart! She wasn’t helpful on what I need to do to file a claim! I guess I’ll figure it out but it seems as if someone from the storage facility broke into my unit and went through all of my belongings to pick and choose what they wanted to steal.

This was our first time renting a storage unit, which we primarily needed for furniture shipments to furnish a new house. Lorie and Renita (Humble, TX location) were absolutely wonderful. They coordinated with each shipping company to make sure our items made it safely to our unit and kept us updated when things were delivered. When we arrived to pick everything up, they were both so friendly and warm. We live out of state and absolutely could not have done this without them. If we could give Lorie and Renita a pay increase, we would. Their teamwork, communication, and customer service deserves more than a Google review with 5 stars. Hot tip: CubeSmart in Humble has a moving truck that you can use for free if you're going a short distance (less than 50 miles). Such a great perk!

Come to find out the two ladies in the office lie to me saying the unit I rented was climate control I was in the unit for several months and I asked why every time I come to get something out the unit it was very hot in the unit they told me the a/c was not working so when I got ready to move out the unit because they kept going up on the unit price it started from $118 to $137 to $161 but never fixed the air but was told by the new manager that the unit I was renting was not a climate control unit so I was lied to from the beginning my furniture stayed in that hot box all that time I am done with them and not to mention they had vandalism doors was kicked in some units they got into and some doors just off the hinges my door was only off the hinges I am surprised whoever broke in didn’t have a heatstroke my unit was hot as hell.

I wish I could put a big fat 0 stars. I walk in yesterday(1-3-2022) and it was about 5:20pm. They closed at 6 but I was ready for a unit, I had a reservation and ready to pay. I walk in and I am asked if I needed help. I say “yes, I’m looking to get a unit”. She rudely says “Really”?. I can only assume she was mad because they had about 30 min to close. That’s no way to treat a paying customer. I’m sure I would have only taken 10 min of her time since I had a reservation. I advised her that she didn’t have to help me. She said it was fine. She proceeded to grab a clip board off the back desk and rudely threw something that was on the clip board onto the desk. At that point I said nevermind, I’ll take my business elsewhere. She said are you sure politely and told me to have a great night. I’d rather go pay more for a smaller unit than do business here again.

The female on-site representative and other staff provided exceptional service. Communication was phenomenal. I can't remember their name however one was a short Caucasian lady about 4'10" - 5'1", one was a average height black woman 5'5" and most recently met, a Caucasian male. I really wish I had their names to provide for this survey - they made my time with CubeSmart, one to remember.

Im a previous tenant at cube smart the manager Laurie is amazing so understanding and always willing to work with you she truly understands that life happens. We’ve just moved our RV from a different storage facility to this cube smart. Laurie Carpenter is wonderful, she explained in detail how she watches over there facility, protecting our property. I have never seen such an immaculately kept facility. On that note, every time we go by there she is riding around monitoring things, she’s very personable always having a smile on her face. I went in looking for a storage right away and I got it. My storage was clean and ready to go right when I needed it and I was so appreciative. The monthly price was within my budget as well. Laurie up front was amazing and had great conversation. If I ever need storage again in the future, I'll go back here. 3 years later and I’m still at the same storage company. The staff has changed but the service is still the same and great. Pete and Adrian really went about and beyond to answer all my questions and make sure my transfer to a smaller storage unit was smooth.

Because of the actions of an employee today, any time I need storage, I will use Cubesmart is they are anywhere nearby. I was moving today and I just got done driving 40 minutes in a 25’ UHaul and I arrive at my storage and I come to the realization of something terrifying: I forgot my keys. And of course, it’s not s simple lock you can just use bolt cutters on... it’s a disk lock... I’m getting charged per mile on the truck and the people who are helping me move are on the way to meet me. I walked to the office and told Andrea the details and she basically said “I’ll make it happen for you.” She shows up 5 minutes later with a grinder... all I could do was keep apologizing to this amazing 90 pound woman who had never used a grinder before who was saving the day for me. The grinder wheel broke and I thought we were done. Together we found another wheel and replaced it and she went back to work. She never did the thing you expect in a situation like this... “well it looks like this isn’t going to work... I’m sorry about your problem... good luck.” She gathered her hair and tucked it in her shirt and just never gave up. After nearly 30 minutes... the lock was off and we totally high fived. Her persistence and dedication to taking care of her customer just had me at a loss for words. She never made me feel bad for the bonehead mistake that I made. And the thing that makes this even more special, I’m moving out of my storage and canceling my service and that didn’t make her take my issue any less serious. Because of his remarkable woman, the lock was off before my movers showed up and I was able to get everything done today on time. This is just one of those times when you walk away you vow to do something this nice for someone else as a way to somehow repay the favor. I can’t thank you enough Andrea!!!

The person who helped me is Darren Smith. I was traveling about 3 1/2 hours and got stuck in traffic and he waited an hour after closing time to make sure I was taken care of. He even offered to help me move into the storage unit. Overall the service and customer service was outstanding.

The rental part was fast and smooth. I think they should inform you when you make a reservation to get your own specialty lock at your convenience. So you don't necessarily have to purchase at there store. Also I was not told if we rented with them we could use their moving truck. It is advertised outside of the location but never mentioned in person upon getting a storage.
