My husband and I have had at least three of the largest size units over the past five years. When there are no problems, it is great, but when there are problems, they never go away.. Security: Exit gate has been broken for well over 2 months now. There is nothing to let you know when you enter, so you drive all the way to the exit and then you see a sign and have to go all the way back to the entrance. This is a huge safety concern because if you are here at night, in order to exit you have to get out of your car go out of the facility open the gate go back in the facility get in your car and leave. Lights: The lights in the hallway on the second floor have been non-functioning for at least five months. This wouldn’t bother me if they weren’t all around my unit. I have reported this to the office on three separate occasions. Nothing is documented- all I get is “we have put in a work order”. Climate: in the five years that I have been here, I have never been in my units where they are a semi climate controlled temperature. I understand that Climate controlled storage units Are not expected to be 70° but they definitely should not be 89°! have reported this to the office on several occasions. Nothing is documented- all I get is “we have put in a work order”. IF YOU ARE STORING ANYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE CLIMATE CONTROLLED DON’T DO IT HERE BECAUSE IT WILL BE RUINED. I feel like I have given this business enough opportunities to fix the problems before complaining. It seems like nothing from corporate gets done so the employees simply just don’t care anymore. I have asked the employee if this location is corporate owned or if if it is a franchise and It was very clearly person did not know the difference between the two and informed me that she was the manager and basically that complaints go through her. It would be nice to be able to go work in one of my very expensive climate controlled units and not feel like I am in a sauna As I mentioned, I am not a One to six month customer. I have three of the largest size units at one time I had four.

They stole my items and all of a sudden the cameras aren’t working in the area where my unit was located. I was told in order to try and find out what happened to my items I would have to file a police report and have them to start an investigation. The district manager also told me that she will not be looking at the footage to see what happened…(suspicious activity)

My storage unit at CubeSmart in Humble was broken into without removing the lock. I had tools, toolbox, generator, and wheels\tires stolen. The manager at the time gave me a pamphlet to their insurance company. I filed a claim, and it was denied because of no physical evidence of break in. They can't give me camera footage since they don't know the exact day of break-in. I had the unit since 2005 with no issues until recently. I also filed a complaint with the BBB. I also noticed on my Nextdoor App this has been happening a lot lately with no resolution from storage facilities.

This Cube smart is by far the best storage I have found in the Conroe area. The manager Stacy is always pleasant, knowledgeable, and Provides 10/10 customer service every time I have a question or request. Hands down save your self some time. Horrible customer service manners and hospitality was out of the question the location of Atascocita was closed so went over there and the black lady with braids or dreads was just unpleasant so we felt unwelcomed and uncomfortable to ask or continue any conversation with her so we called online made a deal and closed at Atascocita pls state the issue many people dont have the patience to deal with unpleasantness. Why work on customer service job if dont want to assist guest .....

CubeSmart Self Storage in Humble is a great location. The staff there go above and beyond to ensure your needs are met. I want to give a special Thank you to Madeline she is an exceptional employee. We rented one of the larger units for one year. The CubeSmart app is a great feature as well. You are always able to communicate with someone unless it is after hours of course but that is to be expected. If you need a storage in Humble then CubeSmart should be your first choice.

We selected this location due to its convenience for our needs. The staff is friendly and helpful. The grounds and buildings are modern, clean, well maintained, and secure. The facility layout makes it very easy to get in and out. We chose a unit on the second floor and it is easy to access. I would definitely recommend CubeSmart in general, and this location specifically.

This review is based on the facility and the online reservation process. I didn’t work with any representatives directly, as I arrived at the facility right as they were closing. I was instructed to use the online reservation system to secure a storage unit. Long story short, I was able to reserve a unit on my phone while standing in the parking lot in less than 10 minutes. It was a super easy process. The unit was clean and I have had no issues so far.

Last Wednesday, my wife and I were on our way to GB Intercontinental Airport in Houston for our 8 pm flight. We had a flight at 8 pm and supposed to drop our car for 2-3 months at Cube Smart self storage, 7900 FM 1960 Rd West. The store closes at 6 pm. We were stuck in traffic and also got lost. My wife and I were panicking. If we were late we would be stuck in an expensive airport parking. It was 10 minutes to 6 pm. Out of nowhere, the store manager, Justin Hill, called my cell phone, introduced himself, and advised us that the store is open until 6 pm. I did not know when we would arrive there. He said he will wait. Lo and behold he calls back at 6:50 pm and asked our ETA. We said about 6:10. He said not to hurry and drive safely. Well, we get there, finally, at around 6:20 pm. Justin was waiting with a very pleasant and professional courtesy. He got our IDs and papers and processed our papers, guided us to the parking, escorted us back to the gate, and made sure everything is all secured. Before we left, Justin gave us our gate code and advised us that the gate is open from early morning to late at night (I forgot the times), and not 24-hours. I asked what about if we fly back and arrive at say 3 am. He said he will see what he can do with the management. We thanked him and departed. Two days later, he calls my wife and I, again, out of the blue, and advised us that he was able to get us a 24-hr access to the parking. Incredible. My wife and I were amazed and shocked at the whole thing. In this day and age, you don't see employees that are so dedicated. Besides, he appeared to love the job. I told Jason before my wife and I left the store that he literally helped his company gain not only my business, but my loyalty to the business. I added that I wouldn't be surprised, or even expect, that one day he will be the CEO of his company. Justin Hill is awesome. Cubesmart Self Storage is a great company. I also want to add that in the earlier that morning I called many storage facilities. I decided on Cubesmart because the sales rep did a great job too. It's a great place with great staff, however my rating is in regards to the computer system. The day I initiated the account the computer system went down and would not allow my access or exit to and from the property, so each time I entered I had to blow my horn for the property manager to buzz me in. I returned the next day and the problem had not been fixed, however the property manager was not on site so I had to call customer service who gave me a temporary code to leave the property. Hopefully, the next time I attempt to access the property this will no longer be an issue.

Excellent customer service and very nice property compared to other storages I have stored at. Spacious hallways and push carts for customer use. I've only had one problem storing at this facility which I believe was handled very professionally and in a timely manner. I had a pest control problem that occurred a few weeks after I moved in the ladies in the front office told me that a few people had just moved out a few units down from me but the same week they had called their exterminator out and had my unit sprayed , I had no problems after that. They were very understanding and cooperative, I'll definitely be storing here in the future if needed and will most likely recommend this facility.
