They raised rate after about 6 months and will lock you out when 6 days past due on rent. (Credit card changed, so payment was not made until after they called to collect). Average storage with typical problems (large snake skin found in unit) since surrounded by field/farm land.

I've rented storage space at a lot of places over the last 25 years, and I've rented space here for a little over 10 years. The current team running this place is the best it's ever had. The current General Manager here, Ray, is the best GM I've ever had the pleasure of working with at any storage facility, ever. He takes care of the customers here like they are his own family, and he goes the extra mile to see to it that renters here have what they need, when they need it. He's just excellent, and this place reflects that.

Derick showed me my unit answered all my questions. The paperwork was a breeze. I bought a lot of boxes and other supplies. Derick and Al helped load them in my car. 2 days later I realized I need needed a larger unit . I spoke with Al and he was able to transfer me over to a bigger with no problems. He was a HUGE help and went above and beyond. Thank you!!!

Moving is very stressful. I was having a hard morning and have never rented a storage unit. The associate who helped me today could not have made the process any easier and could not have been more helpful. He took me to tour the unit when I had doubts about whether I’d selected the appropriate size, set me up with a lock and very clearly explained everything. The facility and grounds are in very nice condition and very clean. The whole experience was really excellent and turned my whole day around.

We walked in looking for information about a unit. The gentleman who assisted us was super pleasant, knowledgeable, and explained everything thoroughly. The unit looked clean and they were able to provide us with a lock (for a charge) which was very convenient. I love that this location is near the police station, and apparently the manager lives onsite which helps make me feel like my belongings will be safe. So far so good!

Lock was changed from their temporary lock to a different one without informing me. Then they sent the key for the new lock to a different address than where I am living. I asked that email be my primary form of communication, so imagine my surprise when I learn of the change by being locked out of my storage unit (which I pay for on time every month). We paid for $2k in insurance for our belongings through Cubesmart’s property protection “SureSmart protection”, but rodent damage is conveniently left out of things covered. After having my stuff in the unit for less than 3 weeks, rodents had destroyed my couches and various other items. But unfortunately i can’t expect to get anything back for them

Friendly and caring employees. Wex were downsizing units. I received calls from the office that in their inspections they found our new unit empty and unlocked and were worried something was wrong. Just didn't have the time to move until recently. The biggest problem I have with CubeSmart is the constant raising of price. I know that the price will go up approx, $50 every 6 months for seeming an unexplained and no seeable reason.

Love this storage and price you cant beat. Dont like the whole cash deposit on truck rental when i have credit card . and 24 hour access is extra 15 a month which is too high in my opinion.

Don't call their corporate sales office! A woman was not willing to hear my requirements. Instead, she got on a soap box about the costs of services (nickel and dime-ing me). After which she hung up on me! She is being reported to her supervisor. However, contact the local store which you receive better customer service. I would have put 4/5 stars if it wasn't for that incident.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to park his big rig and Jonathan Windsor at the W Front St branch in Hutto, TX went ABOVE AND BEYOND trying to help us find a spot. Unfortunately, we were not able to go with Cube Smart due to the size of his truck but Jonathan over extended his customer service skills when I know any other person normally would not. HE WAS PHENOMENAL and I want everyone to know that you can't go wrong with choosing Cube Smart for your storage needs! If I ever need anything in that line, they are the first ones I'm going to. Initial customer service was great but everything went down hill from there. First we were shown a unit to purchase and the contract was written with a different unit number...not a problem we got it fixed the next day BUT because of the paperwork mix up we were locked out of the facility at 930pm with a trailor full of stuff because our code didn't work and nobody told us. We were on hold for at least 20 minutes trying to get someone on the phone for a temporary code. When we pull up to our unit the on site person parks right in front of our unit so it's a challenge to even access it. After discussing everything we were given a free month....or so we thought. Instead of getting a bill we get an email saying we are three days late paying our monthly bill....that was supposed to be free. Needless to say I'm not happy at all.

Great experience renting here. Jared Quinonez went out of his way to take care of me and my friends. I had a friend come to the facility to help while I was loading. Jared drove him to my unit.
