Move in was very easy and the entire place is really clean. Received a friendly and informative phone call shortly after reserving the unit. Monica set up my unit and everything was exactly as I was told it would be. All necessary info was emailed to me beforehand so accessing the unit for the first time was very simple.

DO NOT rent from this particular CubeSmart! I was a customer doing the next right thing and unfortunately, MINDY, (“the manager”) used foul language and hung up on me several times when I tried to get my cleaning deposit back. Shocking to say the least. It took three calls to corporate for her to finally give back what was rightfully mine. My brother has terminated his long-standing contract with CubeSmart because of their misconduct. The BBB is now aware of their unethical doings and currently under investigation. Please….save the headache and money. Go ANYWHERE else!

My husband and I had a unit here for about a year. Since January of this year we have been trying to get a smaller unit. Each time my husband called they told him to call back on the anniversary date. Every time we would miss it by a day or two since we’re busy and often work during the time they are open. They never were able to just help us over the phone with that, so we decided to move out. Then they told my husband a couple days before our bill was due that we were required to give 7 days notice AND that they needed it in writing as well. Later we found out that they lied to him. Customer service told us it is NOT required, just appreciated and they do not need it in writing. So they forced him to pay for another month whether we got our stuff out that day or not when we actually could have moved out. We felt like we were being forced into paying for a larger unit than we needed for a long time and then they tried to trap us into the unit even after telling them multiple times that we didn’t need it. Take your business somewhere else. Other companies are actually able to work with their customers. This place will trap you and make it extremely difficult to do anything once you’re in.

What a joke this place is or better yet Mindy. We had movers come remove our things out of the unit but unfortunately the movers left a box springs. We called to find out what our options were since we now live in Colorado. The solution Mindy gave us was to drive from Colorado to get it or she would put a lien against us and report it on our credit, over a box springs. Find somewhere else to store your belongings. This place is absolutely ridiculous and to threaten us like that over a movers mistake is beyond unprofessional. There is always a solution to every problem but apparently not with Mindy

I work as an intermediary for an older couple that needed help with storing their particulars but with age and it being covid, could not be in person. I was able to rent a unit online and give information showing the belongings did not belong to me but instead of a simple solution of asking me to open a new account online matching the owner with their belongings, I was quoted company and texas law that they would not allow me to store their belongings in a unit under my name regardless if I had power of attorney, a zoom call, letters of authorization, docusign electric digital signature or any other legally binding method that under covid all government courts and fiduciary / financial institutions legally allow. I have been sent across the country to speak, sign and stand on the behalf of this couple yet this little cube smart is the lone bastion that stands against helping others who need help. The site manager and owner called a day after I stored just asking for additional insurance which i was sending then they called back 2 days later to say I had to remove it all immediately unless the elderly gentleman would come all the way in person to simply show his driver's license. Which I had already provided, and offered every possible solution including a video call. They rudely spoke over me and refused. Shame cubesmart. Do better. in short, cube smart does not accommodate the elderly, the disabled or the sick that cannot work, move or be able to appear in person to show their drivers license. Nevermind they have an online form that doesn't screen this and had I not listed the belonging in the unit, they wouldn't have asked and I wouldn't have to had wasted my time and their money on moving twice. I was able to easily find another company who would happily assist. Go figure. Buyer beware call first never use their online system.

They increased my rate every 6 months I was there and at the end of being there over 3 years I asked if I could throw a few boxes in their dumpster and they declined. I decided at that moment to move all my stuff and leave. I didn't want to be at a place that literally wouldn't help me in the smallest possible way. Oh well, it will save me $200 a month. All because they wouldn't let me discard a few boxes lol.

This facility is excellent! It's so easy to find your space, clean, they have sanitizer in the store and are practicing social distancing, they have a mobile app, you can rent online and the manager in the office Zelena is so so nice. She answered all my questions, she made my first storage experience so much easier and even though she was wearing a mask because of this world pandemic I know she received me with a big smile. I will definitely recommend this location with no doubt!

Awesome storage facility. Barbara is truly a delight to work with on finding a solution to best meet your needs. I’ve had a unit here for about 3 years and it was the best experience I had. I recently moved out to another CubeSmart closer to my home but I would highly recommend this location to anyone in the Keller/Colleyville/Southlake/Far North Richland Hills area. Some of the best features include security with access code to gate and building, well lit hallways, clean interior of unit and hallways, padded walls in elevator, carpeted hallways, clean restrooms inside building, tall ceilings, large loading dock area, and amazing customer service!!!

So far the best experience ever! Placing the order online was a breeze, and Clarence called within 24 hours to confirm details. Barbara took me on the tour, and showed me the space, which was exactly as advertised. On moving day, I had forgotten my padlock, but Dan was kind enough to reopen the office so I could purchase a lock, and even waited for a little while with me for the movers to show up! Service like is sadly no longer the norm, so I really appreciate the friendliness and efficiency of the crew here.

Clarence checked me in today and I am very pleased with his warm personality and professional manner. It is worth the hour and a half drive to use this facility with people the caliber of Barbara and Clarence here to run the facility.

I have a storage unit in Kansas but my fiance needed one in Texas close to where she lives. Clarence was an absolute hoot and a joy to meet and work with! The security cameras are placed very well and are monitored daily. I appreciate the layout of the 5'x10' space. And a staff member loves very close by so they are available on call if need be. Barbara is a super cool older lady and very pleasant. By the end of the transaction, I felt like family/friends with the management staff. A+ service!

We rented a 10x10, then needed an additional 5x10, for a short-term office remodel, and Barbara and Clarence couldn't have been more helpful. They made this part of the project so easy! Very reassuring as to the security of our belongings, and I felt secure in the surveillance I saw. The units are very clean, doors freshly painted, easy access, and they also had some moving supplies, which I purchased. Barbara was awesome! We were shopping for storage places and didn't look any further because Barabara was very knowledgeable, funny, warm and helpful so we rented at her facility right away. The application online was simple. The Store Manager gave me a courtesy call to work with me on a time to come to the store to fill out paperwork. Dan and Clarence were the staff at store # 0741, Keller Tx, that processed my paperwork and showed me around the facility. They were swift, professional and very friendly. AMAZING!!! We switched from another storage facility and could not be happier. Harry and Barbara are the best. The customer service is exceptional. When we were moving in, our grandchildren were there with us. Harry brought them colors and coloring books. They checked on us numerous times to see if we needed anything. This is the place to go if you want your rent to go up and have ever extra charges possible added to your account. The manager that was here 3 years ago was great. I gave them 5 stars. Now the new manager , who has been there for about a year will do everything in his power to charge you every red cent he can. Will not help you at all. It is like he wants you to loose all your things. Rent kept going up , always had reasons why there were so many different charges. So if you want to loose your things and have to deal with someone who should be happy that your using their storage but is just looking for ways to lock it up and auction it off. This is the place. Look no further.

Edit: Ms. Barbara died and Jim moved on. The new staff never cleaned like Ms. Barbara. The carpets are filthy, the bathroom has had the same footprints on the floor for months and there is a calcium ring around the guest toilet bowl from not being cleaned. The new manager, Mindy, was incredibly hostile, harrassing me needlessly by "informing me of new rules her boss, Will created". Mindy alternately described Will as her best freind of almost 20 years or a cheap b****** or greedy a******. I never met the man. Weird rules Mindy came up with and corporate denied were only one customer in the office at once--I sat in the parking lot for 50 minutes in triple digit weather and finally had to go to work, not paying my rent tthat day, no more cash rent payments and directed me to leave and buy a money order or pay over the phone with a $10 "convenience fee" added, customers are not allowed to use the dumpster at all--it is locked. Mindy also tried to tell me that if the rent payment was 1 day late, the customer would owe the full month's rent, in cash only and there was no grace period. Corporate says there are 5 grace days. It turns out she also tried to tell another friend of mine the same thing. There are 7 places employees can park out front, but Mindy chooses to park just outside the sliding doors in customer parking so she doesn't have to waddle far. Her lack of personal hygiene is remarkable, especially her hair and her language is downright foul. She continually bad mouths other employees at other locations. I have been at Cubesmart (I think) 7 years and she is the sole reason I left. The last few days as I was moving out Mindy waited in the office until after 6 pm and turned off the upstairs air conditioning, but left it on downstairs. I also found out halfway up the ramp of the rental truck the handles on the carts were loose. Mine popped off! Whether or not it was negligence--a possible oversight that would have been easily discovered if the carts were ever cleaned and maintained--or sabotage, I have no way of knowing. Either way it was loaded heavily and half way up the truck ramp. My friend pushing while I was pulling could have been BADLY injured! I got video of how loose the cart handles are. I got one off with one hand. Original review: Barbara and Mr Jim are extremely sweet people. The really on top of their game. The prices are a bit High here but that has nothing to do with the staff. It's an excellent, beautiful, temperature controlled facility. There's cameras everywhere and I feel like my stuff is safe.

Researched several storage areas in the area and opted for Keller’s CubeSmart. Barbara was very helpful, and explained the benefits of outside versus inside storage, and made sure I was satisfied with the unit she assigned. I am very happy with my first experience with Barbara and CubeSmart.

Bottom line, I like good customer service and clean restrooms. Yesterday, I was in search for a box to mail a wrapped Christmas gift. The largest box at one mailing facility was 20x20x20, but the gift was about one inch larger. I saw the ‘we sell boxes’ sign when passing by store #0741, made a U-turn and met Brandy, Harry and Barbara who were all so friendly, helpful and ingenious. After listening to my dilemma, Brandy figured that one of their boxes could be manipulated to fit. Harry measured and provided the knife, Barbara stuffed the box, and Brandy folded, taped and even took the package to the car! The cost of the newly revamped box was $15 cheaper than that at another mailing facility, so I saved money and got all of my needs met. Thumbs up for OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Fast, friendly and convenient. I needed a space close to my home and I wanted something hassle free and safe. The unit was large and I had adequate space to get a large truck and trailer into the storage area and get it turned around. The rental terms were fair and simple.
