I've had the most horrible experience every since CubeSmart took over my account. At this point. I am beginning to think that it is a personal thing with the lady in the office. When they took over my account, I wasn't aware of the change so when I tried to make a payment as I always do online to Public Storage. I kept getting an error message. Well. I always make a payment on the last day of grace before the payment is late. Well. I had to drive out of my way to go to the location the next day. When I get there, I see the signs are changed etc......and it's now CubeSmart. The lady behind the counter tells me I would need to pay almost another $50 for late fees. All she kept saying was we sent you an email and it looks like you read it. If I read it then I would not have been on the phone the night before trying to pay Public Storage as I normally do. I sent several messages and finally the GM calls me and says it would be waived. I already pay $258 on a fixed income as a Senior. The next month my bill includes an extra $27.00 additional insurance fee. I didn't feel like the hassle so I paid it. The same woman working in the office said we sent an email so yes if you want to change it you have to pay it and next month you can change. She didn't bother to tell me that if I change it then my insurance amount would change for my belongings. My most recent incident with this same woman took place onFri, Feb, 28th. I called and stated that I needed to get a new lock because my keys were misplaced in my car. She stated the charge for the lock would be $21. I asked how late was she there and she stated 6pm. I informed her I was waiting on my son because I cant lift and hes helping me after work. My son got off packed my things and we headed there. I called to let the office know we were on the service road in traffic and would make it there in a few minutes. My son and I get there at 5:45 pm and shes on the cart and says I'll be right back. Well. I get out and purchase the lock from the other lady inside and she says I dont think she can do it today because she's the GM, which I never saw GM on her badge. The young lady calls her and she says it's too late so come back the next day. I stated my son has to work and he made changes just to get off today to help me. I was told, well it can't be done. We leave and come back the next morning which is Sat, Mar 1st, at 9:45 am because we were told that they opened at 9:30 am. The other younglady comes to my car before I got out and says, she told me to tell you to go ahead inside and she will meet you at your unit. My son is behind me in his car and we both drive to my unit. I get to my unit and then the other lady calls my cell. She says Ma'am you have to come back and sign a form which allows her to cut your lock. I asked why would you tell me to drive in and then turn around and tell me to drive back. After that she comes to the unit to cut the lock and says her drill is not charged so she made us wait. It only took her a few minutes when she came back so thats another reason she could have done it the day before but she made us have to take another trip back. I live in Forney so that was very inconvenient. I've left a message for Sam who I'm told is the GM. Either this younglady gets over her personal vendetta, or now I will call The BBB or whomever I need to contact because this is utterly ridiculous at this point. I would never recommend anyone to this location while this person is working inside the office. Never. I am a 63 year old woman. I don't have time for this nonsense. This is already the 4th name change of companies since I put my stuff at this location in 2020 but this is the worst treatment that I have received from anyone.

I have been parking my 2 commercial trucks at this location for 2 months. I love the location it’s on the service road which is easy access to the highway north or south. Management is great at this location well kept nice and clean. Gate access is easy in and out. Price is good I got it with 2 months free. But if you need commercial parking are just storage don’t pass them by sign up.

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT THE US STORAGE COMPANY IT ONCE WAS! notice the reviews referring to Mary are old. She was great! That was US STORAGE! This new storage has raised my rent from Feb at $143. To $201 plus ins by Sept 1st. I was paying $123 prior to the transfer of ownership. They claimed to have reached out to me but I never saw any increase letter or email. They are quick to call me if there is a payment issue which I never had any of those issues with US STORAGE! This new storage just charged me a late fee due to some cc issue! I spoke to the person Amy and told her I'd be right there to take care it. When I arrived she said I would have to pay the late fee and new rent rate before she could request the late fee be removed! Total: $256.20! BE SMART! THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS IN THE AREA! Now let's see if my storage gets broken into! I'm outta there!!

If I could give zero stars I would. This is by far the worst most unprofessional most no regard for anyone or anything I’ve ever dealt with. They have RATS! & they’re only solution to them is topgun no pest control no compensation for all the things affected by rat feces or anything just outright a hot mess. They also have leakage in some units . PLEASE RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS STORAGE AT ALL COSTS!

After a month of sending evidence of items stolen, police report, claim was denied because there was no burglary. The Orange insurance only covers burglary and not theft, how convenient of Public storage and their scams. And emailed the district manager, he called me and according to him the pictures that was taken of my unit was deleted because the unit was paid, how convenient and the cameras "should" be working but wasn't sure. Oh and he decided to block my email after asking for proof of my lock being cut because my stuff was stolen after they cut my lock. I see why there is a lawsuit against Public Storage they are scam artist. Their insurance covers them not us. Get your own insurance for your unit. Matter of fact don't even rent here. They won't keep getting away with this.

Made arrangements to meet after work at 3:30, no one onsite. I stayed because I wouldn’t be able to return for over an hour. Ms Mary was a super sweet lady and did her best to accommodate me. The property definitely needs some attention. I thought it was odd that for a climate controlled unit I would have to go check the unit after a heavy rainfall for damages.

I paid almost $400 only to have rats infestation in my units. I started getting things out & stop kids way because of them. I have been a customer almost 7 years from when it was Assured Self Storage. Local management was always responsive to any problems. During the first 4 years or so there were modest increases in the rates. This changed when they became part of US Storage. There have been 3 rate increases since April 2022 always stating stating supply and demand, upgrades etc. My rate has gone from approximately $135/mo to 203/month in less than a year. It took me less than 10 minutes to find a larger unit for approximately 1/2 of what the new rate will be. If there really was a shortage of space, I couldn’t have found a space so quickly. The owners are betting that most people don’t want to move so will continue to accept the unreasonable increases. As far as improvement for the past month the access gate has been out of service more often than not. I would advise searching a bit to find more bang for your buck. Other places are offering much better rates with low or even free first month rent.

What can I say...she is such a doll. Her warmth and caring personality is like no other. i don't understand how storage place goes up on loyal customers rent at the blink of an eye. We had they storage unit over a year and now they tell us that they can go up on your rent just because you have occupied that same storage for over 6 months. since it became us storage they started added on charges and rent goes up

I highly recommend using this location for US Storage. Ms. Mary the Site-Manager was a complete God sent angel and went above and beyond my expectations. I came from out of state in a rental truck full of heavy totes and boxes and even a large 17 inch truck tire. I am a petite lady. She helped me unload all my belongings into my storage. I had no one to help me and she was compassionate enough to see I needed help. Without asking she volunteered to assist me. It was beyond an excellent experience of customer service that is not commonly seen in today's world.

Before their recent acquisition by US Storage Centers this place was outstanding. The local on-site manager is still great and a pleasure to deal with. My one star is totally because of the new owners and the way they are nickel and diming their long term renters. The latest Fiasco was having to sign the new lease and prove you have insurance or you will be charged a "protection" fee. Then to Top it Off, I received via email a letter dated February 3, 2022 that this was my 30 day notice my rent was going up on March 1. I don't know what universe that P****K C lives in but February has either 28 or 29 days which means that notice needed to sent by January 30 this year for the notice to be valid. This review in no way is reflecting on the On-Site Manager who is great, but on the ARROGANCE of the District Manager or Corporate who thinks the customers are foolish and don't know their rights.

This location has the best employees! I met Steve the 1st day I went there. I was still undecided and he was very informative in giving me the prices. Well, the next day I returned and met the most wonderful, kindest, absolute genuine, professional manager Mary! She made me feel like we had known each other forever! OMG! She went over the contract step by step, gave me the prices, made sure I knew the guidelines. She answered every concern with kindness and patience. She was very detailed and the office was nice and clean. I spent so much time there just talking to her, she was a joy and I left feeling like I had made a new friend! So if you need storage, don't bother with the rest and see Mary! She has no idea how much she impacted my day by listening and speaking words of encouragement without knowing my situation. Oh yeah, the prices were cheaper than other places I checked on not to mention this location was very clean and safe.

Stopped by today to pay my bill. They open at 9am supposedly. We stood outside the door until 934am. It was a sub at the desk. She stated "I got in late. I mean early, but i couldn't get into the system and I have things to do before I open the door." Really? There were 5 of us waiting. When she finally slowly walked to the door, she didn't speak or apologize for the wait. No sense of urgency. Disrespectful. Zero customer service skills. The couple ahead of us was speaking with her calmly and respectfully but the agent was being extremely rude. The sub told the customer he was being rude. Twice. The customer was calm despite the fact someone broke into their unit. Wow. We're moving out.

The manager at this facility has gone over and above to help me with my storage needs. Janice C Assured Self Storage is a state of the art facility that beats surrounding storage facilities hands down. I was at another facility in the area for over two years; there is no comparison. Management is professional, very knowledgeable and a great listener. He doesn't just try to get you to rent from Assured Self Storage; he gives you several choices to choose from to meet your specific needs. I was very excited to find a storage facility that has light inside the units. I have two climate control 10 X 25 units and one climate control 10 X 30 unit. Having lighting makes it much easier I navigate toward the back of my units. Also, whenever, I have a question or concern; he takes action immediately. I have been at Assured Self Storage since April 2016; I see myself there as long as I need storage units. Awesome job!
