The doors will not stay propped open. As I was loading my TV the door closed on me causing me to drop the TV. It smells, and I’ve seen homeless people walk through the gates and into the storage area. The prices have gone up since they bought the company from public storage. Do not recommend at all.

Update 1/31/2025: I got no notice of my rate changing so I called and a rep told me that it changed due to the insurance was changed. I never initiated that and I never got any notification of this change. So it’s safe to say I’m over this place. 3 names in a year. This is by far the worst storage facility experience I have had. As of 1/3/2025 they have changed ownership again. I can never get any help over the phone. I was not even aware of the change in ownership until I tried to make my payment on the public storage app this month. Smh!!! I am so over it. I guess it’s time to find another spot. Since the change I hate the management here. I have to fight wasp to get in the doors. No one ever answers the phones and the door was accessible now I need a code and nobody can give it to me.

I put everything I owned in this place to battle cancer. I got behind due to my illness.it was taken over by another company. They are a complete rip off. I called to find out what I owed so I could get it caught up. I was given a price not even a week ago. I get a call today and they had added over $100 more dollars. Telling me things have changed since last week. You don’t even pay that much in late fees if you’re renting a house!!!

The place is nicely kept and the staff is very friendly. Kelvin assisted me in my reservation and explained the contract, billing cycle, along with the promotions (which you have to go online to get). He went up and beyond to assist me in making reservations and completing the rental of the storage unit. Customer service skills were great!

I’ long overdue for a review at this place. Me and my family have lived in Dallas all our lives, despite that, we have moved around a bunch of times so we are very familiar with storage unit companies, but this has been the best one we’ve rented to this day! The man who owns this is extremely sweet, when we first got it we needed a bigger unit and he stayed there past the opening hours and almost was late to a flight to get us a bigger unit space out the kindness of his own heart! When it was time for us to move out, we got everything out the unit but forgot to cancel the payments for the storage with everything being so hectic moving, he cancelled the charge that was made since we weren’t using the storage any longer. Do not think twice about going through this storage unit! There’s an amazing owner who’s gonna give you the best prices and genuinely cares about his customers. Very amazing hard-working man with super clean storage unites and all the AC works in the AC units!

Love this place. They are by far the most polite and helpful storage facility. They even take the time to know you by name. I was waiting for an available parking spot and they kept me informed on upcoming availability. Sharon always greets us pleasantly and goes above and beyond to help. The price is great, the facility is always clean, and the parking spots are spacious and on concrete which is much better than other places that have you park on dirt, grass, or gravel. Also, the location is PERFECT! I highly recommend this storage place for anyone looking for wide parking, secured entry, and decent pricing. Oh and let me NOT forget to mention Jamie!! You would be hard pressed to find a nicer individual..!

I love Assured Self Storage on N. Houston School Rd! I have been with them since they opened the property. The staff members are excellent!!! Very helpful and more than willing to show you around the property and assist you with making the best selection. The property is nice and clean. It is gated, well lit and I feel very safe when I am there. I have never gone in that office and had a bad experience. I would highly recommend this Storage facility to anyone. You won't be disappointed. What more can I say...BEST SELF STORAGE, EVER!!! Assured, you get an A+ rating from me!!!!!

A brand new storage facility so everything is still nice and clean and shiny. The staff was friendly and helpful and took time to explain the differences and escort me over and let me look at a couple of lockers so that I can make my decision. I am not going to need a locker for a couple weeks but they told me that I would be able to get one when I came in. I really like that it was a gated front gate so I had a little extra sense of security
