I don’t usually leave reviews but my experience from this location leads me to leave one. I went by this location Thursday around 5:35 requesting help to cut to lock off of my unit as I unfortunately have lost it. I was told my who I assume might be the lady in charge that she should not help me because they would close by 6. She then mentioned she couldn’t help me the next day on Friday because her district manager would be there and that I needed to come by on Saturday. When I returned Saturday Saturday like she had told me just to find the door was locked and there was a sign on the door saying someone would be back shortly. So I returned once again roughly an hour later for the same lady to deny my request for help now for the 3rd day in a row and told me she can’t help me until the following Monday. I understand we all get busy and maybe overwhelmed sometimes but tis woman’s customer service is very poor and she seems to have forgotten that customer service should be her number one priority always in all ways. Due to her poor customer service CubeSmart will loose my business. Not to mention they will constantly raise your monthly rates without notice.

Monthly rate was $90 and on my 2 yr anniversary I get a card saying it's now $170!! Cubesmart is a scam! Understand that after 6 months they will start raising your rates about every 3 months, and won't stop! Going into the office to ask about it and the response is "It's a corporate thing, there's nothing we can do." There are more honest places out there!

Kept raising the price, despite similar units in same location offered at half the cost. When asked why they are not reducing price, or let alone keep my term price, they asked me to vacate te unit and come back after 30 days. They know this is difficult to impossible especially for customers that live far away.

I moved in last year of May in preparation for my military deployment and it was a very easy transition! While I’ve been gone on deployment, my family and myself have had the worst experience with this stores team. Not only were they beyond rude to my family and myself, but also horrible when it came to business as far as the storage unit! Then I spoke with Michelle today, still currently deployed and she was beyond rude at the beginning of the call until I told her that I’m still out of the country on deployment, my family moved my stuff because they were hard to deal with and price kept going up, she didn’t change her tone until after I told her that it’s currently night time in my current area! After she became resourceful and understanding, which isn’t right. I’ll never use Cube Smart again if this is how they treat veterans!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

Easy sign up. Great communication from manager. I was amazed by Kaylee’s attention to detail. At least twice she noticed that my lock was missing or ineffectively latched. She always called within 12 hours which tells me she walks the entire facility very frequently. The gate access is super convenient. We had NO LEAKS over a 6 month period. The facility is always clean.

Matt was an amazing and very understanding on site manager. There was a problem with the slide lock in my storage space door, it was freezing cold and raining and it was after 10:00pm. Needless to say, the night couldn’t have been more stressful for me, but Matt made sure to take care of my lock problem. My husband and I have been with cube smart storage for the last 2 years at 501 hwy 121 in Lewisville TX. We pay for 24 hour access since we ride motorcycles and sometimes are back past 10pm. I will say the gate has had issues over several years but managers in the past Stormy and or Amy residing on site has always assisted REGARDLESS of how late it would be. However, that HAS NOT been the case since Matt took over this store. He started off as friendly till we saw another side to him. We came back to storage around 10:30pm on Tuesday of this week and our gate code would not work!:( so my husband knocked on Matt's door since this is what was told to us to do from previous managers so he or she can help regardless of how late it would be. Instead of asking us on how he can help us, he comes out saying "what"??? No professionalism or nothing!!! Just plain RUDE!!! My husband said we cannot get in and he said "yea I know the gate code is not working and I'll get to it tomorrow" showing little to no concern. He insisted we dial the 1800# however this was not our first rodeo from previous years with the gate having issues so we know that option does not work. He did not care to listen or provide another option. He just said "next time don't ever knock on my door"!! This guy is not fit for this store let alone to be a manager. He definitely lacks professionalism and courtesy of which customers need. He needs to be FIRED before things get worse! I can bet that my complaint has not been the first at this store since he's joined. Please note this has been an ongoing gate code issue where we pay for 24 hour ACCESS but do not get our money's worth AT ALL!!! This is unfair to customers as ourselves since we've been with Cube for a bit now. Please treat this as a priority before the culture of this store loses all credibility!!! Please help!

I would say when “Stormy” worked at this location the customer service was awesome. The staff is ever changing. That’s not a good look. Don’t pay through the app unless you want to changed extra fees (their error through the app) I was charged 3 processing fees and I brought it to the attention of management at this location, I was told that they couldn’t refund my money. ?? They could apply it to next month bill. It shouldn’t be an issue to give a person a refund back to the card that was charged. Long story short, I will be moving my things out in a few days. I don’t like when errors happen and it’s make to look my my fault and no sense of urgency is taken. I will not use this place again.

Update -- sadly I had to move my trailer from this location. Be warned that the facility does not enforce size restrictions and my trailer was inaccessible due to the oversized camper they let park next to me. This was my 2nd space at this location. I previously had to upgrade to a more expensive space because of the same issue where landscaping vehicles blocked in other spaces. Disappointing. Amy was very helpful when I went to visit the location. She listened to my needs and worked hard to find me a good spot to park my new travel trailer. On move in day, Dena was AMAZING! She was super patient and helpful! Dena got me moved in and went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience. Highly recommend this location!

Very poor customer service and efficiency. Lack of customer account monitoring following computer and gate access updates resulting in shutout if you are on 24 hr access.weekend staff except for the Lewisville and grapevine reserve managers are absolutely useless with one looking continually spaced out and can only answer yes or no or don’t know. The company seem to disregard customers when computer or gates are updated causing the shutdown for 24hr access , or it’s the site managements lack of efficiency in ensuring that those customers with 24 hr access are not affected or inconvenienced following such updates. Very disappointing experience.

Originally had planned on using one of those container/pod services but wasn't able to get that arranged so we had to get a temporary storage unit during a move. Found a CubeSmart about a mile from our new place. Reserved and set everything up online and got a confirmation call from local management to confirm the reservation and answer any questions. Knowing that we wouldn't need the unit long, we went with the "First Month Free" option. No crazy hurdles or hoops with regard to canceling when we were finished with the unit - staff was just as helpful at move out as they were at move in. Would definitely use CubeSmart again in the future.

I’m so thrilled that we got a referral to use CubeSmart Storage in Lewisville. As we remodel our home, we have so many precious things we just couldn’t part with but needed extra space for living. When I spoke with Stormi on the phone she was absolutely amazing in understanding our needs for storage and clearly explained the benefits of keeping our belongings with them. When we arrived Dena helped us and they didn’t miss a beat. They make a great team because I hate explaining the same thing over to people a second time. Dena gave us a tour and showed us the facilities. We were ready to sign the rental mainly because they were so helpful and tuned in to our needs. I rarely write reviews...but I’m a fan of great service and people with great attitudes when taking our hard earned money. If my friends need storage, I’m going to send them to Stormi and Dena at CubeSmart.

I had the storage unit for 7 months and it was fine until I moved out. I confirmed three different times that I was all set to move out March 3rd (which was when my last payment covered) and was told yes every time. March 4 I was charged another month (Mar. 4 - Apr 3) and requested the charge be removed since I moved out. It was removed but a few days later they called saying my lock wasn’t removed (which it was) and that I still had a balance for next month’s rent. After discussion they didn’t charge me. That same day the charged me again accusing me of saying I moved out Mar. 4th. I went in person to talk to Stormi and she said she’ll email her supervisor to have it removed. It’s been over a week and the charge has not been removed and my emails have been ignored. The move out process has been very unprofessional.

Due to unfortunate circumstances, I had to find a storage unit pretty quickly. I called around to try and get the best pricing available and was unimpressed by the customer service (or lack thereof) at other facilities. Super frustrated, Cubesmart was my last call. You know most people want you to spend more money if you need something or not. But I really like that this is great customer service for a storage facility. I'm telling you to forget uhaul and whatever ones are out there because I have used them all and I never had this such a positive experience and with people who are actually in the office not a call center.

Well first off I needed a storage to move some things. I never heard of Cubesmart. But they are way better then any other storage company that I have used in the past. From start to finish my experience was exceptionally excellent. I booked and they called to confirm which is standard. Bit kept following up with me I met the wholes staff day by day over the phone. They seemed happy to help and that I was using there company. I never had that before it was very different but it's not quite often where you meet people who enjoy where they work and I met more then one at one place. So when I went the to location they were just professional I had a chance to to speak with stormi and Dena. I learned alot and i really like that i was able to see my unit before signing to make sure any issues could be addressed then and actually the orginal unit didnt fit me and stormi was able to find me something a little better and long story short. I highly recommend this storage unit and they rent penske trucks all your storage needs in one place. The professionalism is there and you really would not think you would get that at a storage unit but I was able to get friendly service from the time of reservation to the time I went in.

I am so happy I found this place. I hadn't even stepped out of my truck and already greeted with a smile. So much positive energy walking into there. Very friendly staff. I didn't even have questions because they explained everything so well. Even had time for laughs and jokes. They make you feel like family from the start. The place is clean and well taken care of. And I even saved about $60 a month compared to the lowest price I had seen from other storage places. Happy customer here.

Was pressed for time and by shear locations and luck we chose this Cube Smart storage facility. Due to outside factors, we needed a storage unit ASAP and Jessica and her team could not have been better! Very friendly on the phone and answered all questions we had. Showed up an hour later and we were shown around to the available units and picked the one that worked best for us. Even gave us some water while we were working and unloading into storage. A few weeks later, we needed another storage facility (different location), due to our experience with Jessica and team we chose another Cube Smart location even though it was a couple miles further. Excellent customer service and attention.

I have been a CubeSmart renter for several years now with multiple rental spots. I have found the staff at this location to be accommodating to me as a customer. Stormi (manager) and Jessica (general manager) are very pleasant to work with. They will greet you with a wave and smile when they see you on property. They have my business in mind when it comes to cost savings which is much appreciated. For example, Stormi was aware enough to let me know when a larger storage unit became available which allowed me to gain more space but save a few dollars every month on rental costs by consolidating units. I would recommend you stopping in to see what they can do for you!

I shall never recommend Cube Smart Storage ever. They charged me a higher rate for climate controlled storage. Being hotter than outside is not climate controlled. Their AC units were broken for two years. With too many empty excuses every time is complained.

First off, i rarely write reviews on establishments and their staff. But, my experience at this particular Cube Smart deserves compliments when its due. We had reserved a unit online because of its location and price which was perfect for our means! :) What happent next was totally unexpected. We had an appointment to see the unit and do paper work at 330pm, unfortunately we were running late due to previous matter so we called that we to adjust to a later time. They were more than accommodating over the phone even though it was nearing their closing time:) when we got there we were welcomed by Walt, who was very warm and friendly. A quick verification on our reservation and he handed us over to May for the viewing of the unit. May, toured us on their golf cart and was quick to make us comfortable, made us feel as if weve been their tenant for years! :) The facility and units we saw were super clean and Well taken cared for. Sealed the deal with a signature few laughs and farewells! I recomend this place to everyone! Look for May or Walt! They wont waste your time! :)

I was in the final stage of a move at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday and was determining if I needed an additional storage unit. My movers were assessing the space and we flagged down Stormi who was driving by in the cart. She was extraordinarily helpful and quickly found me a small unit close to my existing one. She helped me get all the paperwork done quickly & efficiently so we could keep the pay-by-the-hour moving processing going without any delay. Stormi is even doing some research to help me find a cost-effective truck for the next phase of my move. We were done by the office closing time of 5 p.m. but I'm sure Stormi and the office team would have stuck around for additional time to help me if needed. Thank you Stormi!

Moved my items into storage in January. I was really afraid that this Texas weather would ruin my things in storage. Went to do a random walk-thru for my storage last week (July) and I was shocked! My storage was as clean as a whistle! It didn't have an odor! There were no bugs or rodents! No trash on the premises! Manager and staff friendly! Well lit interior! No problems with entry/exit for gate! And this place is VERY affordable!!! I would highly recommend this storage facility to anyone looking for quality maintenance of storage units.

Went online and found Cube Smart to be close by, and because it was no obligation, I reserved a space in the size I need. I then went there to check out the place and it was super clean and the lady was very friendly. As my insurance covers off-site storage I had to get that proof from my agent and then I was all set.
