I was going through an extremely difficult time personally and Diane went out of her way to accommodate me not within hours or days, but quite literally within minutes. When I arrived and signed, I realized my unit wouldn't be large enough and she was able to slide me into a larger one, still honor the discounts, and went out of her way to drive down and check in on me and make sure it was all okay. The price was a little high, but the location was good, so I did it anyway. Then I was assigned a unit that leaked, and had major rodent issues. My boat upholstery had more rat nibbles in 2 months of being stored here than in a year of sitting outside. Then to make things worse, they lock you IN if you don't leave by exactly 10pm. I would give this place zero stars if it was an option.

I have moved a lot. And there is always issues with storage. I made a reservation online, no problem. Within the hour I had a unit AND a lock was waiting for me. Easy instructions for access to the fenced and secure facility. Clean. Temperature controlled. The staff called me a day later, I had accidentally locked my unit incorrectly. Came back to secure, no problem. Easy payment online. All done electronically as well. Only "problem" I've had is using the app. Which again, isn't an issue since it's automatic payment and we can pay over phone and on website too. Overall...best experience with a storage unit yet.

After moving out of my unit last week due to the price change, I received a phone call this morning asking if I would change my rating ( I gave them 3 stars then due to the cost ). When I originally called to let them know I would be moving my stuff, the young lady could have cared less. I finally asked her if she wanted to know and she said nothing. I went on to tell her I could no longer pay the amount it went up to (163.00 and some cents). I was told this morning when THEY called ME there were ways to work around the cost and the lady said she wished she had taken my call. My new storage place is $65.00 now a month instead of $163.00 and some cents. Quite a bit difference in the price!! I am glad I changed storage places. The new home for my storage stuff is so much cheaper and has all the advantages of CubeSmart. If I were in business and were charging what you charge I don't think I could sleep at nights. I know now that there are businesses out there that take advantage of others and your company was doing exactly that!!

UPDATE: We no longer need our storage unit but it has served as well this last year. Entrance/exit was always a breeze and Diane made the moving out process as smooth as possible. ORIGINAL: I showed up very end of day to set up a storage unit and Diane went out of her way to accommodate my schedule and needs. Which was appreciated, since my car was already full of items to store! I had neglected to bring my own locks but she had some quality locks to offer me (a bit pricey but it was my own fault for not planning ahead). Looking forward to working together!

I cannot recommend the establishment enough simply because of genuine customer service. Diane was an absolute aid in my time of need. I arrived to pick up my Penske rental truck. Diane first was very friendly and kind to start off with her first impression. She quickly gave me a ride on her golf cart to the truck I was renting. Now this is where she really helped. The truck had some severe damage on the rear passenger tire. There was damage along the side wall and chunks were missing from the tread. I’m renting this truck to take a friend to San Francisco, CA. So clearly I needed to have this fixed. So immediately Diane recognizes my concern and says she will contact Penske about the situation. So accordingly so, she calls Penske and gets a service mechanic to come out and fix the truck issue and resets my reservation to come pick up the truck when it’s ready. Diane solved my issues, and spoke with great confidence and kindness. Thanks to her, Cubesmart has another happy customer.

Fantastic service!!! This weekend I picked up my RV to take camping for the weekend. The best of the best! Marty and all the workers at this CubeSmart are superior! I had gotten a storage unit with them (my first time using one) they called me the next day to validate my unit and ask how my day is and give me a “official greeting”. I was taken back because I’m just storing my things with them but they took the time to make sure I felt good and about any further questions. They are AMAZING! If you stay in the Lewisville area and need to store your things! This is the spot. Been a long while since I’ve had customer service like this on my few years on earth and they are phenomenal. I moved in four years ago, and over all it went smoothly. I did have an issue with them not accepting anything my insurance company sent showing I was covered, so I ended up paying one month of unneeded insurance. My storage unit at the previous place was broken into two times. This place was in a better location and never once got broken into. It was very easy to move out. I called a few days ahead to let them know, then the day after the move I received an email with: move out complete. I so wish I had used them from the start so I would not have lost the sentimental things that were stolen.

I wish I could give half star for this location. I used this as a drop off for a one way trip from Indiana. Bothered her when she was trying to eat lunch at 3pm in the afternoon and had the personality of a rock. I understand she has a 10 yr award for service of Penske as she pointed out but dang must have been a bad day for this bad of service. Don’t recommend this for a Penske rental

Decent prices for their units. A little on the higher side to rent a truck. But the trucks have really good gas mileage. We traveled a total of 65 miles and it only took $12.00 to fill it back up. They have climate controlled units of all sizes. And boat/RV spots as well. It's easy to get in and out. Security cameras everywhere. It's a good place to keep your stuff!

It's a very complicated issue but it was a big mess but they did make it right. The only problem i have is they say that your stuff goes to aution at a certain time and date. But all the time your stuff is already listed and being bid on. I was very angry. And they will not work with you at all. If you need time or help to keep from losing it. They will not budge at all. So its a learning experience. Ive never had a storage do this at all.

Make sure you measure your storage Building - I purchased a 10X15, when I measured the building it was 10X13.6 ft. Building GM said that there are no buildings that are 10X15. Very deceptive as I choose that building for the size and the price on their web site. The GM would not put me in the correct size building and would not provide a discount for lack of Sq ft. The staff on site was very nice and helpful, but could not do anything because GM would not work with me. This may sound trivial, but if you are unable to compare building size/cost, its hard to make an informed decision when looking at storage competitors.

The staff was not helpful at all when, after 4 years of tenancy, we needed to dispose of half a truck bed worth of trash. No trash cans on the site, and the giant dumpsters (which I confirmed were empty) are not for tenant's use, though they're emptied twice a week. The staff had no answers for me when I asked for assistance. For a place that has raised rates once again to reach an exorbitant amount ($200/mo for a 10x10), this is unacceptable. Glad to be clearing out and going elsewhere. Take your business somewhere else.

My experience with the storage facility was great. The person that helped me was Stormy and she was awesome. This was my first time ever renting a storage facility and only needed it for a short period. I had looked at several other facilities before coming to CubeSmart and I'm glad I did. The prices were reasonable but the only issue is they start auction proceedings after 1 day of non-payment. So make sure you pay ontime!

So far so good... Our unit area could use a sweeping and check up a little more often. I am concerned with the climate control always warmer inside temp than outside even in cool weather??? We will see as the months get hotter. The associate, Dixon, was filling in while current team was out for training. He was extremely friendly and helpful when discussing our options and was very efficient when we came in to secure our storage unit.
