WORST PLACE EVER!!!! RATS EVERY WHERE! NEVER anyone in the office, went to pay and the guy in the office was sitting in the office with office locked during business hours. Tried to open the door and the guy basically waved me off I waited 2 hours in the parking lot trying to pay and then the guy came out and put a sign on the door said be back at 9am and it was 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

Terrible, don't do it. The Management in the office workers are so rude. They pretend to be nice but give you the incorrect information at first just to get you to sign up and move in, then they start harassing you and changing the information so that they can charge you more. It's truly the worst experience, there are plenty of storage companies out there find something better.

Great service by Tosha and Nolan in the office . They found me a big unit inside with two doors making it easy to move furniture. The building and office was welcoming and clean as well. They suggested a mattress cover to protect it which I thought was a great deal . I would recommend it . They also have Penske moving trucks on site .

The lady that I spoke to was extremely rude. Her name was Brittany or Erin I believe. She called and asked was I still coming in for my reservation, I replied yes I am. She then said do you know what time.. I said no I’m not sure, her response with an attitude she said well we close at 5pm. I said that’s fine, I know the lady that I spoke to gave me all of that info, she was sweet! My hint to her to lose the attitude. In response I also asked I saw on like you all charge 17 for a lock, can I bring a lock.. while trying to say that she literally kept cutting me off. She then said after rudely interrupting me, “well yeah you can bring A lock “and in response to her nasty customer service skills I said “well I’m sure I can bring A LOCK, but what type of lock do YOU ALL REQUIRE.”she said a disc lock. After her nasty behavior.. I politely asked her to cancel my reservation. I don’t see how this place has good customer service ! I will take my business elsewhere.

Family has had a unit here for couple years. Someone had put lock back on in incorrect fashion and therefore was not secure. Cube Smart notified us of the misplaced lock and put theirs on to secure it. The wonderful Brittany was the location when i went to correct the problem with a NEW lock that was needed. Brittany's muscles cut that old rusty lock off with ease, she even let me use scissors to cut open my new lock package. I would for SURE recommend CUBE SMART Mckinney on HWY 5 THANK YOU BRITTANY!!!!

This place raises the rent WAY TOO MUCH and nobody EVER returns your emails from corporate on why the rent keeps going up. This place has raised the rent on me four times in a matter of what seems like every six months. Nor will they EVER decrease those rent hikes, despite you being a GREAT tenant. I've been here WAY too long and they're laughing all the way to the bank because of it. STAY COMPLETELY AWAY FROM THUS PLACE!??

I reserved a storage unit over the phone and since it was my first time using the service the operator was very helpful in recommending what size unit to get. After getting that squared away I received a call from the manager on site to let me know how things worked. Once I arrives at the location, I filled out the but of paperwork there was and they showed me around and even made sure my code worked properly before I left. All in all it was a great experience and I would recommend this service to others.

I went into the store on July 26th to complete my reservation for a Penske truck, one way rental. Brittany helped me with such professionalism and kindness; especially given the fact that it was 109 degrees outside. She provided cold water while she completed my reservation. Though I had to cancel and go another route, I fully recommend anyone who needs assistance with storage or a Penske rental to see Brittany. She's the best!

I don't recommend using this horrible storage company! They take advantage of the customers and you will waste your money. I rented a unit couple years ago and I would do monthly checks on the unit. Sometimes I would find mice/rat droppings on my items. I would notice items moved around like someone else was in my unit. I told the front desk, but It would fall on deaf ears. We finally realized the money we were wasting and we purchased a storage shed from Home Depot. I feel safe knowing my belongings are on my property and not in control of a bunch of strangers.
