Last week I picked up a big Penske truck and a car carrier at Cubesmart. I was not familiar with the truck or the carrier. Also, this was the day AT&T was down so I couldn’t access the Penske instructions or call them. Autumn went above and beyond helping me get everything sorted. Without her help, I would have spent way too much time getting on the road. Finally, I couldn’t access Google Maps and I wasn’t sure how to get to Marble Falls. Autumn used her non-AT&T phone to get directions for me. I am deeply appreciative of her help.

At this point I am very disappointed. Went to get the lock I paid for and no managers. The sign said open. The will be back sign said would be back a 2:35 pm, I arrived at 3:15 pm doors locked. Called the number no answer. I and my husband both left messages and called a total of 8 times while waiting in the parking lot until 4pm. We left at that time and did not receive a phone call before closing of business from the manager.

My storage unit got water in it, probably from a leaky roof, and ruined some of my things! The insurance I paid for wouldn't covered the costs. CubeSmart wouldn't do anything, therefore I lost several thousand dollars worth of things. The insurance is worthless and CubeSmart doesn't care!! Three weeks later and I've heard nothing from CubeSmart. The manager Autumn has photos of the damage which also shows the area where the water incurred!

They are misleading on their prices, incomplete in their explanation of policy and blew up my phone in an attempt to correct an error made on their part. I’ve used The same CubeSmart location for the last 3 moves spanning a 10 year period, the most recent while our house was being built for the last year. The our closing was delayed by 3 days after our payment would be due and as a courtesy we called customer service on the 4th asking if there was anyway to pay a small amount or a prorated fee for the additional few days literally from the 7th when it’s due to the 9th when we close on our home, advised that shouldn’t be a problem but talk to the manager onsite and they can work something out. Sunday at noon I received a call from the Manager “please note not the General Manager who has always been pleasant” and she stated there is nothing she can do and “this is why I always advise people to move in between paychecks” assuming you have customers from all walks of life I can understand that. However, this was not a we can’t make the payment but a simple our closing got pushed back and we would rather not pay the full months rent if it is only for 3 DAYS. So Sunday we emptied our unit and it’s all packed in a POD. Might be small to you all and by no means the lack of having us as customers will the be financial fall of CubeSmart but I can promise you I will never spend another dollar of my money or recommend your service again based on the lack of empathy and customer service after being a ten-year customer.

I went into Cubesmart today looking for a storage place to rent Tammy showed me 3 units she was very professional, I came in I was sweating because we are moving She had me sit down and offered me a bottled water very caring individual. I explained to her that we were just starting to look just moved down from California and looking for a home to buy she listened to all of my concerns and wrote all of my information down and to give me time to decide she is a very caring individual she was very easy to talk to, she is a keeper you don’t see that anymore in customer service someone that is worried about her customers coming in from the heat here in Texas.

My overall experience has been great. Making the reservation was easy and they followed up with me almost immediately to confirm. The called two more times, just to make sure we were going to use the unit on our reservation date. This would have been a five star review except for one thing. My only complaint was insurance is required to rent the unit, and that was not explained on the sales page or any of the three phone calls I received. After digging through the website I did find it. "Do I need insurance for my stored goods? Yes, you are responsible for those items you store at CubeSmart and insurance for those items is required. We offer affordable self storage insurance options at the facility. In the event that you are already covered, a copy of the declaration’s page must be available at the time of rental." It wasn't made clear during the process until I checked out and noticed the charge on my bill. I just found this to be bad business, since they are going to charge you for insurance you don't need, if you aren't aware of the requirement to bring proof. SO BRING PROOF OF INSURANCE or pay for their high costs insurance.

My only complaint is the FACT that the rent increases at least once a year to every 6 months, so after a while, that few bucks here and there starts to add up ... so what was once a great price point, eventually became a sore point. Incredible customer service!! The staff went above and beyond to help me with both a truck rental, and help with finding a donation site for my old washer and dryer. In addition to savings with the truck, they saved me from having to pay a $75 dump fee!! I will be renting a storage unit from these people soon.

I absolutely love Connie & Mitch, they are the best. These are great units at a great price. I used my storage unit long term while looking for a house. They we're great. Great units, VERY nice & clean a/c units. I recommend 10/10.

Great place. The managers Connie and Mitch are great people who will answer any questions with a smile. The facility is well laid out with carts to get your things in and out easier. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

If you need a moving truck, go here. They always have trucks available. Friendly and quick service. My review is late, 12-1-15, however I wanted to make sure people know about the high level of personal service you get at this location. Good luck moving to you new place!

Connie and Mitch do an awesome job at keeping their customers happy and have one of the cleanest facilities in the area. Both are very professional and just great people overall. In the past 7 years that I have worked with them,they have always taken care of my needs beyond my expectation. I have and will continue to refer my customers to them when they are in need of either a storage unit or a rental truck.

The owners were so helpful with a truck rental. I needed a large truck that could be affordable since other truck rental companies were charging a arm and a leg. The owners of this place were not only able to get me the truck I needed but made sure it could fit within my budget. The rates for there storage units were also very reasonable. I would recommend this place for anyone needing a truck rental or storage.

I enjoyed my experience with Cube Smart in New Braunfels. It is a very clean and quiet location. They have many dolly's and carts in place for customers to use, which was a life/back saver. They regularly go by and check each unit to make sure its locked (which is good as I left mine unlocked once). They have a nice little store that sells packing supplies, boxes, tape, and labeling decals. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Very nice business to deal with.

We stored our household in a 10 x 20 ft. unit for 10 years! All furniture was just the same as when we put it in there. I found nothing damaged or missing from the boxes I unpacked. We have been VERY pleased with the professionalism of Connie and Mitch and the friendly service we get every time we have wanted to access our belongings. I highly recommend CubeSmart to anyone needing long or short term storage.
