CubeSmart Rosenberg @ 2977: Of course the units are clean, the location is safe, everything is super secure with codes to enter the property/elevator, but the REAL STAR of this location is Esther. She’s been there the entire 18mo that we had our unit and was helpful from the beginning with setting us up (was so kind when we messed up and loaded our stuff into the wrong unit- eek!) to being helpful when we needed to stop by the office for things during the course of our rental, and making the move out experience as smooth as possible! For things like this, customer service is JUST as important as safety and security; because if Esther, this location has it all! She’s an asset to this store and company and we generally only write reviews for things in he most positive experiences- she’s made THIS one as best as it could be!

I would suggest looking elsewhere. 1. I have been here 3 years. rent went from $73 per month to $225 per month for the same 10x10 climate controlled 2nd floor unit. That equals $2.25/ft² which is a dollar more per square ft than the Rosenberg average of $1.28/ft². This means they overcharge their loyal multi-year clients by roughly 80 to 90 percent other wise known as DOUBLE the normal rate 2. Only 2 times out of 20 plus visits was there a cart to assist me, which is not that big of a deal, except ...they keep raising my bill yearly like they are providing awesome service and value. 3. On three separate occasions I walked all three floors looking for a cart with not one other car at the building and still couldn't find a cart to use. 4. On two visits the elevator was inoperative and I couldn't access my 2nd floor unit at all. I took my business down the road for half the price. Lots of storage facilities popping up everywhere. This is the game they play. They hit full occupancy and then raise the rent to maximize dollars per sqft until people start to leave and then they keep their rates there. Use your brain and vote with your pocket book.

I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I paid for a storage unit that I never even used. I never even went to the property and I asked for a refund the next day and they refused to give me a refund. I don't think that's fair.

Staff is non existent. Not climate controlled - AC hasn’t worked all summer. I have stuff getting ruined, photos sticking together, etc. elevator has been broken multiple times. The only thing I can count on is that they will reply to this review asking me to email help@cubesmart, but they have never returned my calls. Looking for another storage …..with working climate control.

Staff was excellent. Air condition was out of service. Weeks later during our move the air conditioning was still not working. We had a horrible experience moving out in very hot conditions inside the building. I decided to go with a climate control storage facility and received the total opposite.

Esther is the sweetest person I’ve ever met overall in cube smart storages locations . From the moment we contacted the office Esther answered the call in such a polite friendly way . Poor maintenance with elevators broken and slow to repair, entering and also exiting keypads broken, no carts available on our floor, no one ever answers the phone for answering issues and the price constantly increasing. Best to look elsewhere. We finally moved out!

We moved out!!! Price doubled in 4 years!! customer service is poor and Managers constantly changing with inexperienced staff. They will not call you back! Locked out one weekend and YES my bill is paid, I was told someone was coming and then rude customer service called to tell me Esther was busy and would do it on Monday and no one else to help! Their error became my problem and wasted gas! Talked to others there and they feel the same. Very disappointed and happy I found a much nicer, clean, climate controlled in Rosenberg for half. Plus very professional staff and online portal! Moved out of CubeSmart8/10 and 8/11 and 4 other families were doing the same. Speaks volumes!

Customer service is fairly ok, but pricing is ridiculous. I was given such good pricing when I signed up, but then it kept going up every other month to where it's no longer a good value. I have since switched to a new storage location and company (closer to me and in-town), with better pricing and no increase. I have also advised my family members and friends that have storage in your facilities to check pricing where I went.....

The move in was good and the staff in the office was helpful but not now. I am a current tenant and can’t get a callback from the front office after leaving several messages. The ac has been out over 2 weeks and with the extreme heat temperature its unbearable to be inside the storage facility. The office says it’s being worked on and the parts were ordered. The rates went up so I don’t understand why it’s taking so long to get fixed. I was provided the phone # to the district manager who I called and left a message and no one has responded either. Communication is horrible and paying for a climate control storage and the ac not working is not ok.

It is good other than the fact that we’re paying extra each month to keep the unit Ac controlled and it is not it’s over 95 degrees in there and we have pictures and Tv that we don’t want to overheat and get damaged. Very glad I left this place. Rental fees here are pricey to start with. Limited places to park to load/unload your belongings. They have just two entrances/exits for the whole facility that everyone has to share. At times the place can become very congested with moving trucks, trailers, etc. They have a dumpster there that is located behind a locked gate that no one can use, so trash is left behind around the facility. Rude employees that work there too.

My Site Manager (Her name eludes at the moment. Please forgive me )made my rental acquisition easy and affordable for my needs. The facility was very clean and tidy. The carts at the entrances were nice to use to cart around our stuff. Staff was friendly and helpful when I got my key stuck in a lock at one time. My items were well kept in the A/C climate. Paying online was easy and quick. I really liked the service compared to the storage place I was using prior. I'm moving to Austin and no longer need to store at this location.

The website was complete, user friendly, and thorough. I received an email with very detailed instructions after completing my online registration, and was promptly called by the location manager to thank me and check in if i had any questions. When I arrived at my unit and got my lock from my welcome bag, they had even cut the packaging so that I didn't need to struggle with it. I have arthritis and this small detail was amazing. On Saturday, January 22nd I received a call from Cube Smart in Rosenberg, TX. I spoke with Sarah. Sarah is a new hire and was helping me out the best she was able to as a new hire. The reason for the phone call, My storage was not locked properly from the weekend before. Yes, I was concerned that my items would be missing. I then spoke with Tamara. Tamara is the manager. She assured me that everything would be ok. Tamara went above and beyond helping me. She notified my family from the contact list on my contract. Tamara met with my family, took care of removing the lock that was not properly locked and had my brother to replace the storage with a new lock. Tamara even faced time me, to show that everything was still in my storage. Better than this, Tamara said "Have a wonderful blessed day". That means a lot to me as a woman of Faith. Esther was amazing. I made an online reservation the night before and first thing in the morning she called me to check up on me. When I arrived she was very polite and informative. She let me know my options and took me on a tour of the facility. We started looking at 10x10's and when I told her that I was a teacher and have to bring everything home each year and I was going to be combining households, she offered a 10x15 as another option. The whole experience was amazing and she answered any questions I had. The facility was very clean and secure as well. I highly recommend this facility.

Great facility. Very secure. It is new and well maintained. Never had an issue and felt like my unit was in good hands. The best thing I can say is that after one visit, I thought I had locked my unit. They called me within two hours after I had left to inform me that it was in fact not locked. That is the type of service you want in a storage facility. This is my go to storage facility from now on.

I dropped my belongings off in march in a storage unit we rented on the 1st floor. My husband signed the contract and got the $2000 insurance on the unit. He was told that the unit was climate controlled which is the only reason we were interested in storing our furniture and belongings. We went back to switch out a bed in march and everything was fine. Then when we went to pick up our belongings to move into our new residence it was terrible. The temperature inside the building was 87 degrees. Not the 55 to 70 whatever it was supposed to be at. There was standing water in a trench in the back of our unit. There was water dripping from the ceiling into our unit. There were puddles of water on the floor. There were rust stains from leaking pipes down the back wall. Everything in the unit was covered in mold. I got the manager and expressed my concerns and she was really nice named Ester. She started taking photos for her records and told us we needed to email cooperate. We got the $2000 from insurance. I would not recommend renting from cubesmart they have a 9 page contract stating you cannot sue them for total loss of a unit and they will not pay you more than 5 grand. 5 grand is the optimal insurance you can carry on their units. If I would have gone with my husband the day he signed the contract and seen all the red flags we would have hit the road right then and there. Stay safe and God bless

Great staff, clean facility, and most importantly I feel like my stuff is secure here. When I first walked in I was greeted by Robert, cool guy with a certain swagger that I appreciated. I already set up a unit through the online portal (which only took a couple of seconds) he walked me through the grounds and let me get a feel for the place. Once he showed me my unit and asked if it worked for me, we signed the paperwork. Climate controlled, gated, passcode protected, and from what I've seen...not a bug or rodent in sight. The rates are incomparable as well, a unit the same size at Public Storage was over $60 more a month! I trust this team, I trust the location, and I trust Robert. He really is more of a groundskeeper/security guard than he is just a manager!

The online process is very easy to find units available and the online check-in is very convenient. The staff as very helpful if I needed it. I ended up not needing my 2nd unit and they actually called me and noticed I didn't use my 2nd unit and they wanted to see if I needed to cancel before I was billed again. Very clean and secure building.

Today I rented a storage unit and dropped off a couple items and thought I had locked up. I was going to go back in the afternoon to drop off more items. On my 2nd trip there, Robert the Mgr., came over to my unit to let me know that I hadn't locked my unit and he locked it for me on his regular round of the facility. I didn't realize I had to slide the lever to the right. Thank goodness this facility has such an awesome Mgr. that took care of his patron. This place is so great! I'm going to recommend CubeSmart to all my friends and let them know that Robert is very personable and great at his job.
