The staff was nice but initially hard to reach for questions. Once my household items were moved in. All three of my units received large price hikes. In my opinion, they know you are likely not going to remove your belongings so they price hike to levels they want to. Moving out was a hassle because one of two elevators were not working costing us more hourly pay to the moving company. I had units on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The elevators would not go from the 2nd to 3rd floors. You have to go all the way back to the 1st floor, and punch in the code again in order to go to the 3rd floor. Why not have the code reader inside the elevator!

Under no circumstances should you rent from CubeSmart in Sachse, TX. This place is a bait and switch. I have rented here for over two years on multiple units. They raised the rent on all units. One unit they raised four times to almost double the price. They wouldn’t adjust so I moved to a different unit under my partner's name. Their special rate lasted 5 months until they started raising the rates again, 25% from $61 to $75. It’s a scam. You can’t pay in advance, they won't allow you to lock in a rate. It is month to month so they can raise rates as they please. They will entice you in with a lower rate, and once you are moved in and it’s harder to change then they will continue to raise the rates on you.

the numbering system seems to be laid out by a drud addic. Only one elevator for the whole storage unit, so if you have one on the back side lots of walking with two wheeler or flat car through very narrow halls. Security is excellent.

The check-in process was a breeze, and I was able to compare storage units to make sure I had what I needed. They offer carts to make moving in fast and large elevators for the upstairs units. With cameras all around and code access needed for the doors and elevators, you can be sure your belongings are safe. Everyone who works here has been extremely helpful. It's also conveniently located across from a Wal-Mart, in case there's anything you need that the office doesn't sell.

Only negative is they ran out of carts to take things into the units. Waited 35 minutes for one. Seems like people moving were locking them in their units while they got their next load. So recommend adding more carts. Lyn was very nice and helpful.

I ordered a 10x5 unit online and showed up to find that they had given me 2 5x5 units instead. There was no mention of this possibility and every indication that the unit would be a single 10x5 unit. False advertising at its worst. The only redeeming quality to this place was the nice woman working the front desk who did her best to help me out. If you are going to book online I would call to make sure you are going to actually get what the website says you will.

This place used to be amazing!! I had units here before it was bought out. Honestly its still not bad. Its kept up well, and I love how easy it is to get units the same day. (Plus it comes with a lock yay!) However, the hours are horrible! I miss being able to get to my stuff whenever I wanted. Please please please consider extending the hours. I have met tons of other people there who have talked with me about how frustrating the hours are as well. 24/7 hours are preferred, because why not? Its secured very well and there's cameras. If the hours change, 5 stars for sure!

This place is NEVER open the times they are supposed to be. I've been here 3 times during normal operating hours, and the doors are locked. Yes I wait in th a parking lot to see if someone just happens to be away, and will come back. So annoyed

Recently changed ownership without sending notice. Apparently the autopay that we set up does not work with the new ownership. Late fees are being charged. They are also not honoring the rates we had with public storage and have raised prices considerably on existing contracts. Good luck getting ahold of the actual store. The number they have posted let me speak with someone in a Tyler and another store in Wylie, but not this one. Not to mention all the issues with rodents. LOOK ELSEWHERE! UPDATE: Contacted the email provided below. Provided proof of what we were being charged. They passed it on to the store, who passed it on to a district manager. The district manager has not even acknowledged the situation. Still cannot get ahold of an actual person at the store when we call. LOOK ELSEWHERE!

This has been the worst transition I have ever seen. Codes are not working, we are being charged late fees for you not carrying over autonpay and not letting us know that was an issue and the lady in the office is emotionless, not willing to help and lacked empathy. I miss Robbie! He always nice and eager to help by answer all our questions.

Varmint control is still an issue. We were on the second floor. Lost luggage and clothes that were sealed in specific, heavy, plastic storage bags. Complained multiple times. Local phone isn’t answered. Voicemail is full. Codes to get in to building and elevators work 1/2 the time. If you have to enter codes twice - once For the building and once to enter the floor / elevator. This is a real pain. CubeSmart is no better the Public Storage.

We have been using this public storage location for the last year. We absolutely love it here. We upgraded from a small to a big unit. And the transition process was so smooth it was an absolute blessing. I have personally seen the employees work very hard to maintain the facility. Bobby has worked very hard from fixing busted doors to ferreting out the missing hand carts.

Mice droppings in our unit on the second floor. Also noticed droppings in the hall. Staff difficult to get ahold of and the chat function on the website was little to no help. Store at your own risk. Modified my review from a 1 stars to 3. Robbie and staff were very helpful and clean up the droppings. They were very apologetic and let us know they took care of the source (another tenant with prohibited items). Very few of our items were affected.

I never leave reviews, but my contact with the staff at this Public Storage is the WORST I have experienced. They are rude to their customers and when weather conditions are hazardus the staff refuses to make the only entrance in or out safe for use. There are a plethora of other storage facilities, this one isn't worth the headache you will be paying for.

The switch from Public Storage to CubeSmart led to many terribly unfortunate circumstances with auto-pay and customer service. I was charged for late fees and even a unit I had already confirmed was vacated over the phone. It all stemmed from auto-pay being set up incorrectly. I never received a refund or even any admission of guilt. Instead I had 2 different late fees waived that had to do with their policy rather than from them trying to do the right thing. When I finally ended rental of my final unit, I was congratulated. That was extremely off-putting given the circumstances.

Clean units but very difficult to work with. Had my rent jumped up when I had only been there for 5 months. Asked for the district manager and got someone who works at the store. They were going to try and fix this, did not. They said they were trying to get the prices closer to other places in the area. Asked for the district manager again and finally talked with Jose after a few calls. Said the same excuse. So I wanted the person above him, and was given the regional district manager Chris Fleming. Called a few times, he finally called back once and left a voicemail. I called back 3 more times and still nothing. They want to blow you off and not address the rate hikes right after you move in. I am sure another rate hike is coming. There is a reason you have a lease but jumping the rate within 5 months of moving in?? Very wrong even for a company like public storage.

This is a very clean, secure facility with staff that do an amazing job keeping en eye on the property. You need a code to enter, a code to operate the elevators, and numerous cameras around. If you have any problems, you can reach out to the staff and know they’ll hear your concerns then work towards resolving an issue if it’s possible.
