The worst storage experience beginning with the front desk associate entering my phone and email incorrectly and was unable to ever get registered online access. When we went to move out, we were fully moved out the day before my billing date but they still charged me a full month. We also had black mold on half of our belongings but no information on the insurance company to file claims for. Horrible experience overall

DO NOT STORE HERE Management will steal your money and move you out without any notice. They wont even give you so much as courtesy call to let you know that they are terminating your agreement. The contract explictly states that if cube smart initiates the termination I am entiled to my monthly payment return and yet they closed me out and kept my money even after I payed in full literally 3 days prior. Crooked company led by piss poor staff. Avoid at all costs.

I would give no stars if I could. The management at this place is as crooked as they come. Cutting ties with this place after I moved out of my unit was way too hard. They continued to charge me even after I moved out and signed an abandonment form. I left a lot of nice stuff in my unit that they could auction for a profit. Part of the abandonment process says when you move out you take your lock with you and that's exactly what I did. I believe the staff raided my locker and took the things they wanted and left the trash. I have pictures of how it was left but they threatened me and said I was going to have to continue to pay and then pay for someone to clean the cube. I'm glad I'm out and finally done with them.

Not above average but not bad. Biggest issue is that they assumed after 9 days of signing up “I moved out” and we could not get in to finally move our stuff in storage. We got it fixed, but my wife was having issues getting them to let her in because she wasn’t on the account. (She signed up with me in person and it wasn’t an option at sign up. I would have gladly signed her up then) We were told we had to call in to customer service to add her, then we called… They said we had to do it in person at the location. Just not a great start with this company. But, the office is clean, staff is decent and the storage unit was clean before we took it. So again, average.

I want to share my recent experience at CubeSmart, and unfortunately, it left me disappointed. Not only did I find the customer service lacking, with the older lady handling my case being rather rude and disrespectful during the deposit process, but she also insisted I clean the storage unit, despite having already done so. It’s a clean nice storage easy access just that they are short handed so the attendant was not always there during hours of operation. Had to pay bill online and pay that extra fee they charge. I think they should wave the fee since it’s their fault we can’t pay in person.

Most definitely recommend. A :/ for price can’t beat their prices. B:/ there help very friendly and will take care of any problems that may arise even after hours. C:/ clean space and facility D:/ location they have a good location. E:/ online rental or reservations very easy to operate. All in all I highly recommend cube smart at the Saginaw location I’m not sure about the rest but if they are anything like this one we’ll all I can say is you better rent from them. Hope this helps keep up the good work cube smart.

{2ND UPDATE: I took away a star, because you can NOT store vehicle parts in your storage. It must be running and insured, even if it is motorcycle parts with no fuel tank or carburetors. Grr.}{1ST UPDATE: I have increased my stars because I missed a phone message, which was not their fault.} I haven't moved in yet, but getting through the process has been challenging. I've emailed and called the Saginaw CubeSmart many times with no response to emails, but they did leave me a voice mail. When I finally got them on the phone, they were great. When I visited in person, they were great. Very helpful, nice, not in a hurry to move on, not pushy sales-types. The CubeSmart computer might need a bit of help. It thought that my reservation was for September 4, and it never was. My first reservation was for September 9. I made a second reservation for a bigger unit. After I changed it online to September 23 to save some money/time, I tried to call and confirm with no luck. Later, on the phone, I got the understanding that I need to go ahead and finish the agreement/payment stuff online, so I did. Did not save half a month, but I'm getting a nice discount because I responded to an online special and reserved online.

My husband and I have rented here a few times bc of how close to the house it is but I wouldn't recommended to anyone. The security of this place is the only good thing. You need a code to get in and a code to get out. They dont answer their phones, try calling the call center to get through to them or email. They will initially give you a good starting rate but then they will upcharge you every few months until it's no longer affordable. You can rent to own storage sheds for these prices. Best of luck! Response to owner: go ahead and respond here publicly with why your rates go up every few months, that way everyone can see your transparency. I'm sure we'd all appreciate your time in disclosing. I too had a Terrible time with the manager kassy. She insulted me by constantly saying Black Lives Matter to me in a very suggestive way. (I identify as a black cis male with the pronouns of it) After getting into my storage unit she followed me in and made more comments about showing me how much Black Lives Matter to her and as a strong black male I found her advances to be unprofessional and downright awesome. But now she won’t stop calling me or texting me, typical white girl behavior once they get on this black king. Nevertheless I had to go to a different facility because I couldn’t stand her needy behavior and constant begging.

Kassy was not helpful. She insisted I pay her all my eggs upfront and then took the eggs, smashed them. I have no more eggs to give so now I’m just a gutterslut living on the edge. This was a real let down because I was looking forward to putting all my eggs in a basket. I’ve also started to inject various substances into my body. I asked her for help with this but she had refused so now I must ask people who are not very sanitary or safe to help me inject as my fear of needles stops me from being able to do this.

We just moved to Saginaw and we got a storage unit and my first impression was it looked a little sketchy and I was worried about my stuff getting wet or messed up with rodents. My first impression was SO wrong! The unit was very clean and dry (even with very strong storms) and NO rodent damage. I was so impressed with how welcoming and helpful the staff was. I felt completely safe when I went to the unit alone. It was perfectly located for easy access. So if you're moving to Saginaw, use this GREAT PLACE!

They seem to have issues with charging me 2 times and at that its being manuel charged. I feel as if its being manually put in someone may be stealing from this location. Also on a prevence month when my card got declined they looked at my old payments and chose to run a different card not in my name manually too. Best option is to double check bank when they charge you or you maybe getting charged 2x . happened on Christmas day!

Couldn't have had a more pleasant check-in experience. Amanda was not only cordial and polite, she was professional, informative and explained everything fully. The quote I was given by the manager and what I actually had to pay to rent the storage space was completely different. The manager quoted $332 and I had to pay $378 to rent.

Excellent to deal with. Very clear statement of the process and what is allowed or not allowed. Everything was ready to go when we arrived and we were able to complete the process in just a few minutes. Facilities are well kept and nicely laid out. Easy to get in and out, without risk of conflict with other renters. Good hours of availability and solid security. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good place to store that stuff you don't really need at home but don't want to get rid of, or that is waiting on a garage sale date.

My husband and I were over the moon with CubeSmart! I reserved the unit online, and went to the store the following day. We reviewed the unit, and did our lease in less than 30 minutes! I'm giving this place 4 stars for a few reasons. I'll start with the negative. After calling around, CubeSmart seemed to be the least expensive and with the best reviews. Turns out the prices advertised don't include the mandatory insurance every month (additional $12). So that was somewhat misleading. When I called to make the reservation it also wasn't mentioned. Second, we made our reservation 2 weeks in advance and called to confirm the reservation date for Sept 1 (left a voicemail). Never heard back from anyone. We showed up the day after our reservation day and were told our unit was rented to someone else because we were a day late. Again - never told that the unit would be forfeited if we weren't there the day we reserved it because I am meticulous about those sort of details, plus we were moving halfway across the country so it was pretty important that our unit was there and ready for us. So I asked the store manager when our unit was rented out and she said Sept 1 and their stuff was already in it. Kind of odd that the day we reserved our unit to move in, someone else had already moved into it. That didn't add up. She agreed and offered to give us a slightly different unit for the same price. All in all, the store manager Amanda was fabulous. She helped try and right the wrong and brought us cold water bottles while we were unloading the moving truck in the heat. So thanks for that Amanda! I called the customer service line twice to chat with the district manager about the mix up and the fact that I was supposed to get the first month free, but didn't. I haven't heard back from him yet, but am hoping they will live up to their "award winning customer service". The positives - Amanda, the general manager was great and everyone I've spoken with thus far has been very nice.

My husband had called to ask if it was okay to pay on the 8th instead of the 1st because we just moved here from California and we put all of our money towards buying a house here. He also just started his job so he wouldnt get paid until the 8th (hints why we wouldn't be able to pay until then.) they told him over the phone that it was okay and that we would be charged 10 dollars more. no big deal.... Well we come up here to get our cable box that we need to return thats in the storage and they said it was locked because we havent paid yet...when we Clearly already stated why and spoke to them over the phone! Mind you... Not once did THEY MENTION that they would be locking the storage up and preventing us to not be able to get into our storage. Wouldn't that be common sense to mention to someone who called to state that we wouldn't be able to pay until the 8th. They made it seem like it was no big deal and we run into this.... Plus EVERY TIME we get there and want to talk to the person in office...they're NEVER on the property. always have a sign up that theyre gone.

I was very happy with my rental today. The location is great, just off 820. Very convenient. The store was clean, and the property looked good. They were cleaning doors today, while I inspected a couple units. The unit was clean, and secure. The office staff was friendly and very professional, and I got 1/2 off my first months rent! I'll continue to store here with Cubesmart as long as they keep up the good work.

This has been a great place to store our extra items. Had spots available on short notice. The folks at the front desk are helpful and easy to work with. No problems with site security or access. Nothing fancy about the units themselves but the prices MORE than make up for that. I highly recommend this place.

I have had a great experience with this storage center. I have had to rent different storage sizes @ the last moment and the ladies here have been extremely accommodating. When I asked about needing a change for the future; they kept an eye out for what I was looking for and advised me so I was able to make the upgrade. I have rented over the last 4 months with them and came from Midland (Loop 250) & had rented there for over 2 years. The only thing I miss or wished this location had (like Midland) is the flatbed trailer availability for Free! (just leave your deposit & receive it when trailer is brought back). It was wonderful to be able to call & reserve one and use it to move items back and forth when needed. But both places have great ladies working for them. I will continue to rent from this location.
