I recently closed two of my storage units here after more than 3 years of use. During that time I found Sharon and Annette to be helpful, courteous, and compassionate to my needs. While I am glad to no longer be paying a monthly fee to store my "stuff" I enjoyed the consistency and worry free atmosphere. My disappointment here is on several levels. A remodel on the floor I’m in makes getting on and off the elevator not as easy! And they upped the rent without notice! About 18% rate increase :( also, the space is supposed to be air conditioned…. My space is frequently 89 degrees. When the elevator stops on the other floors it’s cold in comparison. Great location - great access - offsite cold and inconsiderate billing and communications - local staff just seems frustrated as they are the ones that take the brunt of the “corporate” decisions :( Edit: instead of fixing the elevator, a note was placed obfuscating their responsibility and putting the burden of the elevator malfunction on the tenant…. Didn’t we learn to take responsibility in kindergarten?

Sharon was super nice and helped me reserve my storage locker. The only thing I wish I would have known was that you have only "5"seconds to get into the elevator and then we had no choice but to call the emergency number, that didn't go to well. We got in and didn't need to know anything else, but that we needed to hurry to get into the elevator within 5 seconds after hearing a beep. I didn't need to know how to use the code, that was the easy part. Please don't say, "Omg" because I couldn't hear you. That scared me. Sharon was sweet though, she wasn't the one who was impatient on the phone, because we couldn't understand what she was saying.

If your your looking for a very clean, well maintained storage facility this is the place to be . The prices are competitive so you have that to deal but they have daily deals that you can possibly be discounted on but more importantly than that the staff more specifically Margarita she’s a Saint very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. She’s very helpful and the main reason I store my things here because I feel it’s a safe environment to be around. The other older lady not so much but that’s my opinion which is left to interpretation from my own experience. Ms Anita, the manager of the Cube Smart on Austin Hwy. was so helpful and courteous. She was so friendly and answered all my questions. She walked me through the leasing agreement and then showed me my unit and how to work the locks and entrance keypads. The unit has very good security. The access is easy and secure. The elevators are big enough to make moving your larger items easier. They are climate controlled and very clean. The lights come on automatically as you walk down the hallway. I highly recommend this business to anyone who wants a clean, secure, and climate controlled storage facility.

This is a clean, well kept facility, but the elevators are annoying. Being that this is a storage facility, the elevators should have a longer wait time and you should be able to hold the elevator while you finish loading everything on, but these elevators have sensors. If the elevators are held open too long, the sensors will mess up, causing the entire elevator to be out of service. Once out of service, it requires maintenance to come and repair the elevator. I wish I would have been told of this issue prior to renting the unit because it is extremely inconvenient. Otherwise, the price, customer service and cleanliness are good.

Both Betty and Kayla were extremely nice and helpful. Building is clean and feels secure. My only negative or suggestion is that the property should have a security gate. However, the feel of the building, the great price, and the customer service convinced me to go with them. So far, very pleased.

Kayla was extremely unprofessional and rude. Came in for an inquiry about storage she was eating at the counter and took forever to acknowledge me. Was not very prompt to answer my questions. She is bad for business.

So fast, CLEAN, and so easy!! We absolutely loved the person that helped us too! Vivian walked us through the facility and showed us exactly how to access it etc. and then even swept out our storage room right then so we could immediately start unloading our things. Fantastic service and everything was so simple, definitely recommend this place!

Easy to reserve online. Easy, thorough, and fast check in. Clean storage area. Easy to unload because of double doors and carts. Friendly staff. First month free was actually over $40 because of administrative fees and lock charges.

Awesome experience from the initial visit to view a cube all the way up to receiving my unit to rent! It’s been a VERY tough week and I actually made the mistake of making my reservation online at the wrong location HOWEVER Ashley was MORE than accommodating with helping me to fix that personal error and getting on board at Austin Highway!!! Warm felt experience from the start and ASHLEY is a GREAT face and service to encounter for any new or current customer entering a CubeSmart location!!!

Kayla and John were both very warm and helpful in getting us set up with a storage unit. The security appears to be good with multiple safety checks needed to access your unit as well as cameras and automatic logs tracking everything. Facility is clean and well maintained.

Helpful on-site team made sure my transition from a POD to their indoor, climate-controlled unit went smoothly. If your POD has to be on-site for an overnight prior to pickup, know they’ve got great lighting and security cameras covering all the corners to keep an eye on your things!

I went in to Simply get a small five-by-five space to put some stuff in while I was going to be moving here in the San Antonio area. When I went in and talked with the person that was on site, he essentially turned me away. You're telling me that you cannot rent a space to me without having insurance on the space? I know it's against company policy in most cases with storage facilities to not rent to somebody because they don't want to take insurance out on the unit so that was Highly Questionable. The other thing that kind of turned me off was the fact that they absolutely require that you take a cylinder lock. I had bought a lock and it would have worked for the spaces that they have because the latch allows you to have that type of lock. Overall, I was attracted by the promotion in the fact that it was open on Sunday, but the managers General attitude and the fact that he would not rent to me without having insurance or buying a lock for what was basically $300 worth of belongings turn me away from the facility and I went to rent at Public Storage instead.

Very nice and professional staff. Facility is brand new and nice. However... this facility needs to be fenced. Immediate area is full of people loitering, drinking on the sidewalks, shouting obscene language at each other etc. Seemingly homeless woman changing her clothes in the parking lot before entering the facility with a pascode. Not sure if she is living or bathing inside or what. Drive by in the evening before you rent and make you're own judgement. I would never allow my wife to go here after hours alone.
