Have rented a storage unit for a couple of years at this facility. However seems like they raise there rates quite frequently. Would not recommend this facility for storage needs. This place is terrible since they frequently raise rates. Also you can never get ahold of anyone in the office on sight Update. After working with property manager we came to agreement that if I moved storage unit to another unit same size within the property that the rental rates would be lower. Ended up moving to another storage unit within the rental facilty. Would recommend facility .

For over 3 years, this place regularly increased the price every few months, starting at about $69 and ending at $170+. Also, our property was covered in rat urine and feces. There was zero food items stored.

Customer service is absolutely horrible. No sense of customer service or empathy. Customer service is too busy reading scripts and should focus on resolving issues with some type of urgency. I have been told by member's of cubesmart customer service that there is nothing they can do. Which is completely inaccurate. They would not listen to my suggestion of contacting the correct department to resolve gate code problems. Not a district manager that is not on site and going to have to call IT department anyways. Lost 2 hours of my day. Self employed contractor and if I can't get my equipment in storage that means I lose money and customers.

I'd definitely think about storing your belonging in a different location. This place has a rodent problem. I stored my household goods for less than a month and rats/mice chewed on washer/fridge plastic lines. I had insurance, Great American, and they don't cover that damage. Just a waste of money, and time trying to submit your claim. This location of CubeSmart might not be called the same soon, but rats are staying there. (Carlos)

Crazy how a bill can increase $20 from one month to the next. I understand that everything is costing the consumer more and increases are common. But $20? The last increase was 4/30/2021 and was $4.60. That is understandable. I will be moving my stuff this month. Talk about price gouging!

This storage center is subpar at best. They hire employees with attitudes who in the past who don’t like to help people, won’t work with you if you need something and genuinely don’t care about you as the customer. Maybe that’s changed but either way. Also, they facility is old, outdated, and poorly maintained. My storage unit door wouldn’t stay up when opened unless you Jerry rigged it. It’s not air conditioned, it’s dusty, and dirt and dust from outside get into your storage unit easily. Security is not very strong, the office employee works out of a 8x10’ Tuff shed so they don’t sell any supplies except locks. There are plenty of blind spots that security cameras don’t pick up, and then here’s the best part. After having a storage unit for almost 3 years, with less than 30 days notice, I got a letter that said they were raising my rate by over $100 a month. It was going to cost me $270+ a month for an old, dusty, non air conditioned, no electricity box. I went to another storage company and got an air conditioned unit, with better security, a friendly office staff that sells supplies, that offer free dolleys and moving carts, for $130 a month. My advice is that this place would be better as a driving range for golf balls. Not for storage. How this place hasn’t been robbed blind is beyond me. Stay away.

Just moved to SATX from SoCal, and we had our movers scheduled to deliver our belongings a whole week after our estimates closing date on our home but we had terrible luck and didn’t close on time, we ended up closing a full 9 days late. So two days late for the movers. Anyways, Tuesday night when we found out we weren’t closing, we scrambled to find a storage unit and were able to reserve one online around like 8pm and it was ready for me the following morning. I get there at 9am and the movers shortly after me and as they were opening the truck to unload, my realtor calls me and notifies me that our sellers were allowing us to store our belongings in their garage! That made stuff way easier, but I had already paid for the store unit. So I spoke Johnny and he was phenomenal! I explained what had happened and before I even asked for a refund (I was about to), he told me that he was going to help me out and speak to his manager to offer me a refund! I appreciated that so much and that’s the kind of thing that brings you customers. If I ever have storage needs again or an RV parking, I will not be looking around, this is where I will be coming and this is what I will recommend to anyone who asks for one because of Johnny‘s thoughtful customer service.

At first I was skeptical of this place due to it’s rural location, but when I walked through the door, when I compared rates, and then saw how easy it was to get too, I was all in. If you’re military live in the Alamo Ranch area, this is the place for you! Johnny the man in charge will hook you up! The best storage unit and best service I have seen in any such place.

I have been using this specific location to store my household goods for almost two years. Setting it up was an easy process and when I recently moved my stuff out due to a cross country move, both of the managers I had encounters with were phenomenal. The new manager, Brian, was extremely helpful and very pleasant to work with. He took the time to get to know me and my situation - terrific customer service. I would 1000% recommend this place to anyone.

Had to move out because management allowed my unit to get infested by rats. They gave me a unit that wasn't properly sealed, knew about the infestation, and did nothing to try and solve the problem or contact me to move my items. So I had to throw away 75% of what was in the unit. 0/10 don't recommend.

No customer service provided at all. Call center as there is no empathy and just tells you that they will contact the District manager who never answers the phone. Same issue monthly and all I'm told is that there is nothing they can do. Really. They blame the District Manager. When all they have to do is contact the IT department to get access codes reset. Please someone make notes so I don't have to sit outside the gate for hours...

The gentleman who we initially spoke to on the phone when we had questions was very nice. Then we met Gabe, he was super helpful and took care of what we needed. Update: 4 months after housing my items, the rent went up $25.00. After retrieving my items from storage 10 months later, I find there was a rodent infestation. They went to town on my stuff and now it’s ruined. Paid all that money for a 10x25 climate controlled unit and rodent droppings everywhere.

Update: after four years here, I can say that the hallways are clean, the team led by Brian is always helpful, and my property in both units is safe and sound. This area is growing fast, but luckily, my rates have remained more than reasonable. I consider myself a long-term cube resident now, and I feel fortunate that the staff still knows me by name. -- I'm a traveling healthcare worker. I can go months at a time without being able to check on my stuff, so I need clean and safe storage. All three staff members at this location have gone above and beyond to reassure me that my possessions are in good hands. The buildings are new, well-insulated, and I haven't noticed any problems with insects. Security is top-notch. Management's customer service was so good that I decided to also store my car here, and the team made it happen with basically no notice. It's nice to know that my stuff has a freshly built "second home", backed by three gentlemen who know me by name and consider my peace of mind to be a priority.

On their website they state that you can rent a storage unit at any time. I even called to make sure, they stated that yes you should be able to use the kiosk to rent a new storage. This was at 530pm. Since both the employee and the website stated I could rent a new storage unit through the kiosk, I spent my time packing and helping my husband load boxes instead of going out to reserve the unit. It also doesn't help that their website doesn't show office hours either.. I get to the kiosk and it's allowing me to first time reserve a storage unit up until I have to pay. I call again for assistance. And to my surprise, the employee decides to tell me that we would have to meet Ted or whoever the owner is in person in order to first time reserve a unit... Plus I got to the facility at 6:20pm and on their door their office hours are up to 6:30pm...no one answered..all the open signs were on..but no one answered after I rang the doorbell.. Moving is already frustrating enough, especially when you're on a time crunch and you do all this work for it to be for nothing and having to undo the work because you have to drive your car through a secured facility the next day at work... Nobody likes to have to talk to someone over the phone to get things fixed, which makes it worse when the people you speak to over the phone are NOT consistent. You have a job, and it's for you all to know the same information and relay that information to the customers who call..So if you have someone who isn't getting with the program or doesn't know the correct information, then someone needs to get fired.. *edit Also I learned they charged my husband card with $193 through their FAULTY kiosk!!
