I have NEVER been treated with such unprofessional, rude, & discriminatory behavior in my whole 45 years of life! Cubesmart was my go to in an emergency situation and I would have recommended them to everyone BUT the manager they have at this location has personally ruined any further business I would bring or recommend! He is rude, judgmental, discriminatory & pure evil for absolutely no reason.

So my storages were broken into. But they didn’t go through the gate where the customers have to put their pass code, they came in through the back gate climb the fence I guess. They have video, but so what. Nothing was taken, but something of mine was damaged, and the insurance people are saying there’s no guarantee that they’ll pay me for it. Which is a lot of minutia. Now they’re raised my rent, And just sent a letter saying that they’re raising the late fees also. I am so sick of this place. I can’t wait to get out of here. I’m looking for a new storage facility currently. Oh also, the parking lot has big potholes and they’re getting bigger and bigger.

Stay Away!! A inside theft ring is going on. 5 breaks in to the secure buildings but outside doors are never touched. The last break in yield to many items being stolen that they were walked out without a camera capturing it or anyone seeing it. Rates constantly go up with only a few weeks warning. They change ur door code with no warning. Cameras don't work & none in the buildings. Staff keeps changing. Won't warn you of the break ins. Hard to get a hold of anyone even during office hours.

Corporate office individuals act like children hanging up on customers and not returning calls. Or ignoring customers complaining about them blatantly stealing from customers then giving the run around. What kind of scam business is this? Now I know why so many bad things happen at cube smart.The regional manager Dennis Franklin is lower than dirt. Avoid any business with cube smart. Will steal from your credit card overcharging you. You will have to file a claim with your card company because they stole from your credit card. Or try suing them in small claims court are your only options. Ignore their cookie cutter meaningless reply to bad reviews- they are full of it.

Storing Your Goods There Is Like Setting The Items Out In The Middle of The Road. It's Hit or Miss Whether or Not Your Particular Unit Is Broken Into That Week or Month.

Would give zero stars if I could. Robbed 3 times. Admitted to not having working cameras even though it is stated clearly on the contract that you do have working cameras. Found people twice living in units with their dog’s. The robberies are obviously an inside job. When you ask for the owners name and contact information the employees at this location claim they have no idea. Can you imagine not having a clue who you work for! Terrible place, do not recommend. The new manager is decent but also she has her hands tied and is not able to help at all.

I hate to give a poor review because I’ve had no issue with the staff, but I wish I would have read these before I got a unit. My unit was broken into and when I filed the report I was told this is a reoccurring issue at this location. When I asked the staff if there were cameras in the building I was told “no, but good news is we were just approved to have them installed”. While that is great news for the future, it doesn’t help the fact that what was stolen from me was irreplaceable items. If it was just items that could be purchased or what not, I would be annoyed but that can be replaced. I wouldn’t rent from here until the cameras are installed. Unless it’s things you have inventoried and can replace.

if i can give them 0 stars its what they deserve worse storage place i have ever had in my life customer service takes forever to answer the phones the staff on site are lazy and always have an attitude i have had my unit broken into and have not been there long called sheriffs and they said it happens all the time in the location because the management does not want to put cameras or do anything about the burglaries FIND SOME OTHER STORAGE CAUSE THIS ONE IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME

Awful storage every week there about 5 break ins to your storage apparently this is a non stop problem in the storage facility no cameras what so ever the lack of communication within this facility is awful I wouldn’t recommend anyone to store there item in this unit every day there a theft going on and apparently it must be one of the people that work there before that has copy of there master keys that cut a whole in storage unit to see what the other units have to cut your locks IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A UNIT DONT RENT FROM THIS PEOPLE they are not responsible and don’t even inform you that there was a break in till you go and store your items and find out that the lock that is there does not belong to you I would be filling a lawsuit against this facility since there several customers that have experience this with this facility and nothing has been taken care of the district manager is a joke have been waiting in a call from the guy name Dennis and no one has giving me a courtesy call to tell me what’s going on gate is always screwed up have to stop what your doing to go ask front desk to let you in it’s just awful for the amount of money there charging and the lack of work that they give climate control unit building is always dirty no patrols no nothing apparently there’s been people living in storage unit there my overall experience has been awful with this place KUDOS TO EFRAIN even the police officer would tell you there always a break in this facility STAY AWAY all those good reviews see I’m pretty sure of people that had worked there.

My storage unit compromised a long with 4 other units. In fact, a tenant had 3 units together that hit broken into. I had personal items that were stolen and damaged that cannot be replaced. Also, they didn’t have a security camera but it may have changed.

We have a few units here as we are moving to the area. They never answer phones and over change us every month. I have been overcharged every single month for a year and no one ever to speak with at this location. Edit - this week we have been broken into. My husband had to get on the next flight (6/19/22) as the people at cubesmart were completely unhelpful. The Sheriff said they have been called to this location 22 times this year alone, make it 23 as of yesterday (6/20/2022) when another break in occurred. Also they found two units occupied with people living in them and these people also have pit bulls living in the storage units as well. The Bexar County Sheriff’s department is investigating. We were not the only people broken into and robbed at this location this week. There are multiple people who have had the same thing happen.

Rude and condescending over the phone. Made a reservation and asked about power availability to set up a light for taking pictures of clothes, which most storage facilities do not have so it's understandable that this one doesn't either. But the way the manager responded to my inquiry was extremely rude and condescending, which encouraged me to leave a review. Rented another unit elsewhere with power for the same price.

I love the fact that the storage is next door to where I live and it’s very convenient for me. The customer service is seriously lacking. I asked to be signed up for auto pay and wasn’t. I tired asking as many questions as I could and the manager was not able to answer and didn’t bother trying to reach back out to me to inform me. Just got a call because I was never able to set up auto payment. Got a very rude call from a lady there and she hung up on me when I was trying to get her help to go online and set up the auto payment. The GM for the site answered when I called back and that call didn’t go much better. Seriously thinking about just letting my stuff go to avoid dealing with this headache. I’m worried about Covid19, paying my rent/bills and storage on extra stuff is the last thing on my mind. Thanks for making me extra stressed during this pandemic.

I needed a storage unit over Christmas break for my motorcycle and girlfriend's vehicle and this location had a 10 x 30' unit to fit both with no issues. After hearing about the free first month's rent, I couldn't refuse this generous offer! I even got a rebate for the lock on the unit from the storage finding website. Overall, this location was very close to my current living location and made storage very convenient. Franchesca, the manager, was extremely courteous and helpful in finding the proper unit, so I would definitely recommend this location for anyone needing storage.

I recently purchased a space at the Walzem location and all I can say was it fast friendly and reasonably priced. Francesca was assisting me that day and was very inviting and reassuring. Great customer service!

I was there only because of my son, who needed the space while he found permanent housing. Not particularly attentive. If the attendant hadn't arrived when we did, we would have been up the proverbial creek. This despite my son being assured the day before that his code would be entered.

Love this storage, my husband is a business and stores his equipment and has 24/7 access , the management is also extremely nice and helpful, they live on property so are watching units at night, prices are cheaper than any other place I've looked into. Definitely would recommend this storage facility, we have been using this facility now for almost a year already thank you AAA storage
