I was burglarized here at this location between December 21 2024 and January 6 2025 . Has any one seen My rifles , pistols or shotguns ? I was told there already in Mexico . The Fire exit door on South side has to be the way thieves are getting in . No alarm went off , no cameras, is this secure facility? No ! It's not .

If I could rate the experience I had zero stars, I would. I reserved a unit online and went into the office in-person, just like the person I spoke to and the email received said I could do (literally says "complete online or in-person), to complete the process. I was greeted by the most unhelpful, useless, and passive aggressive employee I've ever met. He was middle aged with a grayish-white goatee. I told him that, in following the advice of the lady I spoke with, I was there to complete my agreement for the unit. From that point on, he scoffed at me, and the only words to come out of his mouth ever again were "it's online". He pretended to look up my reservation, only to reply, once again with "it's online". When I asked how I would get access to the unit after completing the process online, he said "it tells you that online". I'm not sure what the purpose of the employee was, but it sure wasn't to gain new business and likely won't help retain existing business. To be unwilling to answer any questions at all is beyond unacceptable. For that interaction alone, I will not be signing up for anything with CubeSmart, now or in the future.

If I could give it no stars I would. Terrible place. Storage unit got broken into and none of the management reached out to notify me. Management did nothing to help when they realized it had been broken into. Reached out to corporate and they also did not bother replying to my calls or emails. I will not be recommending this place to any family, friends or military service members.

This is been a mess from the beginning. When I rented the Cube I was told I would not be charged any rental fees until my move-in date. This turned out not to be true so I ended up paying for two weeks of a rental that I did not need. I was also told that I would not be charged for the insurance when I provided proof if homeowners insurance. This was also not true. But the real kicker is this: The day before my move-in, I called to confirm that my storage cube was available and good to go. I was assured that we were all set. When I arrived with my belongings, there was no key for my unit. Management finally broke into the unit, only to find it was being occupied by washers and dryers. The management has no idea how those washers and dryers got there or to whom belonged. The unit I rented was 10 x 25. There were no other cubes that size available so I was forced to accept a smaller cube that actually cost more. Then, because the smaller unit was not large enough for my items, I had to rent an additional unit for which I was also charged (Even though I was originally told that the second unit would be free of charge). I am completely dissatisfied with my experience with Cube Smart. At the very least the second Cube I had to rent should have been given to me for free and the smaller Cube should’ve been given to me at the price of my original larger cube. Had I not had movers with a truck full of belongings waiting to be unloaded and stored, I would have found a different storage unit altogether at a different location with a different company. I was definitely taking advantage of because I was in a bind and I am extremely dissatisfied with how this entire process played out.

My brother’s storage unit was drilled into and had his stuff stolen. Whoever drilled into it installed their own lock. How does this even happen? Terrible location to leave your belongings. Better off leaving it with a friend or family member than here.

Very easy to reserve and pay online. Very clean facility and well organized! Had to reserve a larger unit versus the two smaller units that worked better for my items. Called after hours to the toll free number and they annotated the information for the facility staff. They said they would call me back to finalize the removal of the two smaller units that I didn't use. Can't be more satisfying than that!

Had a great experience with CubeSmart. Never had any issues with my storage. What I did have an issue with is my storage fee jumping $50 from one month to the next. I was already paying $221 and now they upped it to $271 in October for a medium sized unit. Personally, I feel this was done more out of greed than it was necessity. It's extremely disappointing to see companies take advantage of its customers knowing the state of the economy.

Clean and well managed storage. The buildings are very secure, requiring a code, universal lock and one can add an additional lock for triple security. Location is centrally located to meet our needs, and one can easily upgrade or down grade storage space size. We have used this location for quite some time.

This place has been amazing .Traci called me the next day after I made my reservation which I made overnight to set up a time for me to come in and also answer any questions that I had. When I finally made it to the location Dave and Loryn where very friendly I was greeted promptly and gave me top notch service from start to finish. I love how clean the spaces where and how clean the facility is and it seems very secure. Would definitely recommend this facility. Moved out but if I ever needed a storage again would return!!

Poor lighting inside the unit and suffocating inside. Elevators don't have the air on which makes it difficult to breathe. A/C is never on and temperature inside is above 90° Our lock was broken into and they didn't had explanations of video of what happened. Meaning they don't count with security system. The main door was always broken and gave access to anyone. Definitely not a great storage place.

Beautiful Location how ever shown online pricing is Totally inaccurate. show move in price was 1/2 of final move in quote because they do not allow you to use your own lock or your own insurance. was told that i HAD to purchase their lock. and for the first month HAD to purchase their Insurance regardless of if I already owned a lock and had insurance.

We just moved into an apartment in the Rim area of San Antonio and needed some space for our extra belonging. Found this to be the closest and most convenient facility in the area. Brand new and very clean and safe... staff were very helpful in helping us pick a unit. We picked an air conditioned drive up unit .. first one of that type that we had ever seen .. which is super convenient. And we can open it with an App on our phones! so no keys no locks .. Love it!!

On 12/13/19 I booked a storage unit at CubeSmart to move in on 12/31/19. I received a call confirming and an email which showed they would be open until 6pm that day. However, they closed early at 1:30 pm, but did not call or email me the day before to alert me of this change. I called them to check in as we were driving two truckloads of stuff across Texas and was told they would not be there when we arrived at 3pm. I attempted to find a solution such as paying over the phone, emailing or faxing the paperwork to them, but they refused to work with me at all. Finally I called the corporate office and was told the district manager would call me. It’s been 5 days and he NEVER called. CubeSmart has terrible customer service and I highly suggest going elsewhere. I ended up renting at Stor Self Storage at 20515 IH-10 E and it was an excellent experience. The manager Eric actually met me after closing so that I would have somewhere to put my two trucks full of stuff. Also the price was less and facility was great. So my advice is to skip CubeSmart and call Stor Self Storage.
