Before CubeSmart Storage of Seagoville bought this facility formerly known as FreeUp Storage, I had a bad experience due to poor management failing to comply as of communicating by call, email an/or text notifying me regarding my personal belongings such as my expensive clothing, shoes, instruments, studio equipment and sentimental items from the passing of my Dad were stolen. Truly, it very disappointing when a loyal tenant of 8 years at the same unit have to find his storage door lock with two of his personal heavy duty secured locks been powered sawed off and changed without an advance notice from the company. In the process of this investigation, no report was filed by the FreeUp management according to the Seagoville Police Department. Afterwards, the management failed on two other occasions such as failed to meet with me at the facility when they were suppose to be open for business, failed too show up and return calls. Investigation is still an affect....!!!!! Just to let you know how filed the management staff

My items were stolen. I believe it happened when Freeup storage took over from the previous owners. They removed everyone’s locks and replaced them. I’m sure whoever replaced those locks saw the items I had and stole them because I had a John Deere zero turn right in the front. So as soon as they seen that they took everything. I wouldn’t recommend this place

We have not had good experience here. It started off great but they changed it all. There is no security to drive around and we have had theft and break in. New owners even cut our brand new locks off and replace the garage door which I noticed has been attempted break at last time we were there you could see scratches all by their new lock. Owners even changed our locks and never notified us. We'd move it but expecting our home shortly and now we don't see the point. Everything was stacked nice and neat to the ceiling and now it's all falling down everywhere I don't know what they stole, But I do see they stole a fountain with the little boy and a puppy. I've carried this fountain for years from home to home and can't find another one. Now fountains are $300. I think I would check for a different storage place

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. My property was stolen literally as soon as it was placed in storage and drove off! They told me to get a good lock but that’s not the problem, it’s the storage unit door itself. I called to report it to them and their answering service took the information so one for the actual storage place has called me back.

I have only one problem with freeup it's very hard to pay your bill everybody don't get paid on the 1st when I try to pay my storage on the 2nd or the 3rd no one is there to pay it you can't drop a money order anymore I understand that so why someone is not there to take your credit card or have a number where you can pay your bill I've called many times to pay my bill and couldn't no one answers the phone or the number they for you to call please do something about that it's very frustrating thank you

She had no idea we were coming when we showed up with a trailer full of stuff. Jumped right on the situation and had our storage unit ready to move in in just a few minutes.

This place didn't even call us to inform us that the company had changed hands from The Storage Place to Free Up Storage. On top of that, we had informed the previous owners that someone tried to cut our locks and they did nothing about it and we were pay insurance on our previous unit. We had to get our stuff out to a safer storage rental company.

i just paid $106 went to the location and it is scary!!!! was dark, didnt feel safe at all while i was trying to open the gate for my unit. gate would not open (used instructions that was emailed to me) called the numbers on my receipt and the number thats posted, BOTH were not a working number!!!!! i dont know how many people have been scammed, but i will promise you, i WILL get my money back.... BEWARE!!!!!!!

Please help...What is going on... I've been calling the office since the 1st of Dec. non of the numbers I have works. I work and can only visit the facility after hours. I left a note for someone to give me a call and no one has called me at all. I lost alot of money dealing with this storage place. All my furniture was molded once I actually got my things out of the storage in literally everything went in the trash. From clothes to couches. On top of that I wasn't offered any different uhaul options so I spent more money than I really had to when I picked up in dropped off at the same location. ????????

I have used this place for many years, and in all the years before the current owner bought it, I have had not problems whatsoever. But within the past few months I have not only had my lock cut off one of my units but today when I went to check on them and my rv , we discovered that my rv had been broken in to. The problem I see right now is that they allow people to come in and “work on” rvs/cars/trucks. They can bring in whoever they want with them and who’s to say that those people see the code as it’s being entered and then come back and run Willy nilly and do and steal whatever they want. I thought this place was a STORAGE FACILITY, not a car/truck/ rv repair yard. I am looking into finding another facility to move my things to. I hate to since this is so close to my home but I pay good money every month to keep my things safe and secure, but it seems that the customers are not being given the security they are paying for. I gave them 3 stars but that’s being generous at this point. As I write this, I am sitting in my car waiting for the police to come and do a report so they can look at the cameras and see if they can see who broke into my rv. The lady in the office is nice but the owner is the one who should address these things and do whatever he needs to do to ensure that we as PAYING CUSTOMERS, have our property safe from theft and or damages. Initially found this facility to be quiet and safe. But I have realized that if you have an issue it is literally impossible to speak with any one of importance or control of the situation After 3 weeks. An s a few attempts to speak on my insurance claim on the burgurlary, I've received no word what so ever on my claim. You are made to pay insurance. But no payment info or info on situation from owner Bently. Save your self the anxiety and just go to the self storage on beltline and 175.

Rented out our uhaul from here. Right before closing. Very friendly staff. However I had ordered an appliance dolly with my uhaul and I was charged for it and it was not in the truck. So my husband and I had to load and unload our washer and dryer by ourselves. Very inconvenient.

Well been a customer for over two years. Anyway my storage was broken into and all management could tell me is they couldnt see anything out of 16 cameras. I feel like they are blowing me off and don't even care that my things were stolen. So if you need a storage where someone can break in and get a clean get-away this is the place.....

HORRIBLE FACILITY Flood water damaged my property due to negligence on their side at the Kimberly Drive location. Water came up under their door and got my furniture and boxes and items in the boxes soaking wet. They will move me to another unit, but I have to rent a truck and move it myself. No one has said they will pay to get my sofa cleaned, my property replaced. If I have to rent a truck and move it myself I will remove my belongings from their property and take my business and money to another company. I will also seek reimbursement for damaged property, truck rental, price difference for another company's fee as well as legal fees for attorney costs and court fees.

Never In My Life Have I Experinced Such Horrible Service. Dont EVER Believe That Is This Place Made A Mistake They Wont Apologize and Admit it. Their Money Back Guuarantee Is A LIE. I Didnt Get My Order At My Requested Time. The Guy Didnt Even Read My Order or Even Knew It Was Part Of The Order?! Oh and The Manager Called Wanting To Know Of My Experience. Well As I Told Him, Obviously The Customer Isnt Always Right In This Case Cause He Went On Being Rude By Talking Over Me and Got Loud With Me. No Customer Service Skills What So Ever. Would NEVER Recommend.
