Rent increases several times a year until it was outrageously priced and we moved out. Found another place for 1/4 of the price nearby. On top of that our stuff was full of bugs and rodent feces, and some things had to be thrown away because they got chewed up.

I had a unit there for a while, they raised the rates every couple of months, until I was paying a ridiculous sum for a 5x10 storage unit. I had a friend who worked with the people who run it, and half of their 5 star reviews are fake to offset the low reviews. This is a shady place with a broken door.

This is a very clean and well maintained facility. The staff makes regular rounds to check for any vandalism and theft and there are cameras everywhere. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is the rate increase that comes no matter when you rent

Beware of price increases. I was paying $75.70 per month for a 10x10 when I started. Next month it goes up to $194! $194 for a 10x10, but if I was a new customer I could get a great rate! How about caring for your long term customers, too? They keep raising the rent, and the doors are often broken. Last year they got a red tag from the fire marshall, maybe because of the broken door. I think it's time I look elsewhere.

it's an average storage facility where the front door is often broken and rent is increased every few months. I downsized to a smaller unit to avoid the large rental increase and now after being in it 6 months, they are increasing the rent 20%. I could understand once a year if property taxes, etc go up to account for expenses, but why are there multiple increases in less than a year??? I will be looking for another storage facility ASAP.

I really love how clean the facility is, how kind the management is, and how professional they are as well. The only thing keeping me from a 10 is the customer service representatives who rush you when asking questions, do not tell you about all the charges (lock and key, etc.), and are generally in a rush to get you off the chat or phone.

Cubesmart does not care about its long-term customers and only cares about getting new ones in the door. Our unit price has increased every 6 months, by $90+/month each time, since we initially got the unit. They say it’s because of “market values”, yet the exact same unit is on their website for $178 a month less. We are now paying $204/month more because we don’t “qualify” for any of their special promotions. They’re gouging their existing customers to cover the cost of maybe getting new customers through the door. If you plan to use the unit long term, look elsewhere.

Moving is hard as it is, and finding the time to rent a storage also adds more stress trying to make sure you leave your stuff somewhere safe, especially with all insecurity that people face lately. When we toured the storage we knew that our stuff would be safe here. The whole unit is spotless. Zero trash. DY was really courteous and helpful, making the whole renting process so fast we went in and out in 15 min!

I would recommend this storage facility to anyone who is seeking a clean, climate controlled place to store your items. Just the shear fact that this entire property is on one level is why I sought out this property. Not having to load my items and then ride an elevator to get to my unit was very enticing to me. The manager was personable and pleasant and was always there during business hours to be helpful and answer any questions I had. The entire process of renting the unit, moving in, and moving out was simple and stress free. Next time I am in need of a storage unit, I will be going back to CubeSmart Self Storage.

I was a little apprehensive about showing up to see a unit 3 minutes before closing but Dy was super nice and not only showed me the unit I had reserved but when I asked her to see a bigger unit she was happy to show it to me. She explained where the maps and restrooms are, the hours of operation and even gave me a few tips for the unit. I didnt feel rushed at all. Super glad to be renting here.

Was a nice facility when I got my units but they keep increasing rent. Twice in a year so far. Things are always broke and not secure Every-time we go. The front door is unlocked after hours and the @secured” door has been broke for months. We are paying to secure our items in a humidity controlled unit but it’s not. With the door wide open it’s not humidity controlled and anyone can walk in. It’s not safe to go to after hours due to it not being secure. Another lady had her purse stolen while there. I’ve sent two emails to corporate and the facility with no response. **UPDATE: I have sent emails to the email address in your response prior to posting this with no response back. Update- 4/27/23 still never got any responses to emails and just resent them.

Always raising rate! Not flexible on late payments. I kept having fraud issues on my debit card and had to replace it multiple times. As you know, changing all your accounts and bills that pull from your card can be difficult. So when cubesmart would try to debit my account, it wouldn’t go through. Alerting me to another account I needed to change. Well, now my payment is considered late. CS was not flexible with these issue. Plus want to charge admin fees over $100. Another annoying thing, they won’t communicate via text.

The best of the best. I chose this CubeSmart Storage on sawdust for storage purposes a while back because of their high reputation of customer service; and they certainly did keep it up upon my arrival till this day. It all started with the lady who originally helped me (can’t remember her name) and gave me a tour of all the different size storages. She was so nice and gave me above and beyond service even with how picky and indecisive I am at times. Lol. She always spoke to me any time I came in and even had small talk sometimes. I always felt welcomed no matter the time of day. Moving on to the manager, Dy! She is too amazing, always going out of her way to assist me when needed. She does such a great job in her position and it makes a huge impact on how smooth everything is at this location. She even gives courtesy calls, which is also amazing! All I can say is… best customer service I have ever received and we all know that is rare these days. You will not regret storing your belongings at this CubeSmart location on Sawdust in Spring. Safe, secure, clean, welcoming, well maintained, convenient, nice, friendly, and just amazing.

The facility was conveniently located at the time we first moved in, but the price per month kept going up. Since this building was converted into a storage facility our unit was broken into via going through the wire mess roof. We were getting Christmas decorations out of our unit and went back the next day (less than 24 hours later) only to open the unit and find an extension ladder inside and the wire mess bent and moved around. . In other words it was not originally built as a storage facility. So beware…

I am a stager and I have five units here. I have used numerous facilities around the Woodlands, and this by far is absolute best. The climate control and cleanliness let you store your items with confidence, but just as in any business, the real defining factor is customer service. I`ve been with Cube Smart for years and have been mostly satisfied with the price and service up until a few months ago when the issues I am having all started. First of all, I have a unit and have been paying a certain amount every month. It has now gone up 10% and I have to also pay a convenience fee of $3.95 just to call in and pay with an automated system. I`m not sure how tacking on a fee for payment is convenient for the customer. After trying to pay several times at my location at 610 Sawdust Rd in person in Spring Texas these past few months its like impossible to find anyone there or its a hit and miss almost all the time. I've had poor service, to say the least, at this location and had to, this time, set up an appointment so that someone would be there to allow me to pay my bill. This is extremely frustrating! I see that you have the same 5X5 unit to rent to new customers at 10% less than what im paying now. Is that just to get you in to rate the unit higher once your in...(asking for a friend) Sad.

Unit gets broken into and the forced coverage fails to recognize the claim following little to no assistance from facility management. Then facility management chooses to increase rent rate during a pandemic when people and small businesses are suffering, and again, after failing to support filings in claim losses through the insurer for which they require coverage. As far as rental of a unit, everything was good. What I didn’t approve of is that you are forced to purchase their insurance for the first month whether you have your own personal insurance or not. I did not appreciate having to pay them $12 for their insurance when my items have been insured for years through my own agent. After you pay the first month you can drop their insurance if you have your own, but you are extorted out of the first month. Not a good business practice.

Bill and Bri were so friendly and helpful. They were patient and answered all of my questions and were thorough with instructions and tips for getting into my unit. I truly appreciate the pleasant customer service. Finally ended my storage stay here after 3 years and Kenya was a great help with the easy transition of leaving. The staff here communicates and informative. Very thankful for this location.

My boyfriend and I needed to get a storage unit after we decided to move in together. Bill was exceptionally friendly, professional, and warm not only over the phone but in person. He confirmed my reservation by phone and gave me all the requisite information prior to moving day. Upon moving day, I was burdened with a migraine and not up to par. Bill was extremely understanding and made the process so simple and quick with compassion and empathy. I highly recommend this establishment not only on price, but customer service and satisfaction! Great place to use for storage purposes. The ease & convenience and rates are awesome. There was one let down, I moved in on the 31st under a one month free lease & still had to pay the rent on the following month. The staff is also very helpful & polite.

After storing here for almsot tow years now, I am upping my review to five stars, the customer service is superb! I initially reviewed this place with one star based on my moving experience. About three months later I updated it to four stars because I did feel like they were trying to do a good job and that they made up for the initial issues and I had been harsh with my initial review. I am updating it again, but keeping it at 4 stars because I feel like it can get a little humid inside. The temperature is where it needs to be, and I don't think that the humidity is dangerous to the stuff that I have stored here - it's just less than perfect, I'd give the place 4.5 stars if I could. And a special mention to the manager, Bill, he has been the biggest reason for me changing my opinion on this place from 1 star to 4.5.

I couldn't have expected a better experience. The staff was friendly and had a great sense of humor, they were also very thorough in explaining policy and making me feel like I had a handle on my storage. Now, having moved my things out of the unit, I wish I had more things to store. Great company, great staff. Five stars easy.

Made a reservation online, when the manager called to confirm reservation I asked if they had military discount. She confirmed and stated they do but it's only for active duty military and "the national guard doesn't count" I then explained I'm technically still on active duty orders because I just returned from a deployment. But apparently national guard doesn't count. I cancelled my reservation before ever using their service because of their disrespect for my military service. Edit: District manager called and discussed the situation with me. He offered to make amends and explained it was a misunderstanding on their policies and they do offer service discounts for guard. I can say after speaking with the district manager and the local staff it was indeed a misunderstanding and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Also a very very clean storage facility.
