Recently pulled out of Cube Smart - RF, Spring. The unit was rat infested, evidenced by the rat droppings all over the unit. The roof had leaked in the past and I’m not very confident they repaired it. Many of my boxes were waterlogged. The people I hired to empty my unit told me a few days later, all his people got sick right after I found the manager to be very rude. I would never recommend Cube Smart for storage.

Deserves a 0 star rating. Car thieves tried to steal my car by breaking the ignition cylinder and hotwiring it. No cameras worked to view the area it was parked in. Need much better security. Paying $150.00 a month is ridiculous as well.

I’ve only been to the store once. That being said, it was absolute pleasure. The Manager, Charlene, was amazing. She answered all of my questions, I was very impressed with how hands on she was. She appeared to have absolutely no problem getting down and taking care of business. I do a lot of business in shipping and transport and often need a place to store loads, short term. Charlene was extremely accommodating, the lady has a silver tongue. Can’t wait to work with her again.

The actual physical facility is amazing. Super polite. Never had issues there. Their online service ex. Auto pay or trying to login into the app or online is awful. I can’t stand it. I have to redo my password every dang time and you have to jump through hoops to get it reset. Will never use CubeSmart again only due to their online service.

My unit lock was broken and it happened to 13 other units. I was never notified. 1 week and a half and I was not notified???? But you best believe my payment was taken right on time. Had I not come by to get something from my unit, I still would not know. Not impressed with the management of this place. The lack of cameras on the units is not good. There is no excuse for me not being notified.

Getting my storage space reserved was quick and easy. The staff was polite and friendly. Even received a follow up phone call to ensure I had the space and to see when I was planning to bring in my shipment. When it came time to pay they tacked on a renters insurance charge. Then the general manager proceeded to tell me I HAD TO use their insurance until I can prove I had my own policy. After I explained I can come back with the insurance the GM further explain I had to have it at the time of signing. NOWHERE does it say nor was I told to bring in proof of renters insurance at the time of signing. The GM said it was at the bottom of your reservation email. The blurb just states you have to have insurance THAT'S IT! I even read it to her and got charged anyway! My wife called asking about the charge and was lied to by the GM about my interaction with her and the conversation ended with the GM raising her voice at my wife! The district manager did call me with a pseudo apology saying he will refund us back our money. But the scary thing is, he said this is a practice across the entire storage space industry! No, the cost of the insurance isn't much but the way they went about charging us is very unethical.

Its a great place to get robbed. Theft is a common occurrence at this location. HCSO records show how many times they are called to this location. My unit was broke into and there was no video of the crime. The manager that lives onsite didn't see anything. Inside job if you ask me. The week before my unit was broke into I told the manager that I had items in my storage that could not be replaced. A week later my unit was broke into. I dont believe in coincident. Less then a month after that my good friend who I referred to this place who has 2 or 3 high dollar units with them had his unit broken into as well. We have similar items in storage. Once again, no video was produced. Would not advise storing here!!

We had a WONDERFUL experience at CubeSmart in Spring on West Riley Fuzzel!! First, Wendy called me a few days before our storage unit was reserved to see if I had any questions she could answer and provide some guidance on the correct size unit for the items we wanted to store. I have never used or rented a storage unit before so I found her call to be REALLY helpful! :) [P.S. Don't forget to bring a padlock on your first visit!] Once we arrived there a few days later, Wendy greeted us very warmly and I noticed the office was REALLY clean and organized. She happily gave us some info on the unit, rental rates, and then she personally escorted us to the unit so we knew exactly where it was. She kindly showed us where the moving cart was located as well so we could easily transport our items to the unit. Once we opened the unit door, we found a lovely little note inside signed by Wendy and her manager thanking us for our business. I relaid to Ms. Cox that had to have possession of cube today because I had to move by the end of today relocating to another state. Do to Houston traffic and office closing at 6:00 pm, I gave her updates of my location so she could determine if I would actually show? This was brilliant and confirm that the importance of having this cube really was urgent. Upon arriving at office 6:25 pm Ms. Cox true to her word met with me reviewed the contract, assigned a cube, showed me the cube, provided any and all instruction etc. Just as a reminder all of the above service was provided after 6:00 pm closing..... Thank you Ms. Cox for your outstanding service and extra time to assure that I could place my belonings in a safe spot..... 0h one more additional service I need to share..... During her site walks the next morning she realized that my cube did not have a lock on it., she immediately placed a lock on the cube and notified me direct call to let me know.... Good thing Ms. Cox is sharp, caring and courteous because I was three states away without any chance to return or notify anyone to assist me... In closing I am very greatful to Ms. Cox for assisting me and Cube Smart for having such a great employee on their staff. Grateful Customer Anthony

This is not my first time renting from cubesmart. My first experience was so good I decided to come back to one after moving North. Wendy the manager is so awesome. She helped me in choosing a perfect space for my trailer so it was easy to park. The prices are reasonable and the location is secure. This is a great place to store your belongings.

I just moved here from another city, and was super lost navigating Houston. I called to notify the office where I was, and was greeted withave a friendly voice and helpful direction. This made me feel so much better. I arrived 5 minutes before closing, and was greeting and felt taken care of immediately. I can say hands down, this was a very pleasant experience, despite a stressful trip. Thank you!!!

Wendy was polite and helpful and I got a unit that was reasonably priced. The scam here is the insurance - you are REQUIRED to purchase insurance that doesn't cover theft or flooding, though it does cover "fire or lightning, sonic boom, explosion, windstorm or hail, smoke, aircraft or vehicles, riot or civil commotion, vandalism, sinkhole collapse, falling objects, weights of snow, ice, or sleet, water damage and earthquake". So, go figure - the one thing that most people would consider their greatest concern - theft isn't even covered for the crazy cost of $14 PER MONTH for a mere $2,000 in coverage. Even my homeowners insurance is only $2.20 per thousand, per month ($4.40) and this covers theft. You exempt your insurance requirement if you provide evidence of coverage from another insurance company. My guess is that this is nearly pure profit and the seller gets a kick back. Ask yourself how likely you think "sonic boom" is going to destroy your contents? This could even be more for the coverage of your items causing damage to the facility or other customs contents and they just want to exempt themselves by having all customers have insurance.
