I was needing a 10 x10 unit and was rented a quote "10 x 10" unit by CubeSmart. The local manager was very helpful however when I started moving in I noticed that my unit was WAY shorter than 10 x10. It turned out to be 9'2" x 9'"7". That's 87 square feet vs 100. Went the manager and told them that the unit was no where close to the size I was told. She said she would try to get me into a 10 x 15 at an adjusted price since they don't have any real 10 x10 units. She emailed her boss and after a week of waiting for an answer from her boss I decided to go elsewhere. The local manager was great, her boss clearly had better things to do than take care of a client.

Best and safest place to store your furniture! I have been with them for a while now and they have always been polite! Greg is always attentive at the front desk and Tierni is very understanding. They have inside storage space and outside storage with good idea of what can fit in the different sizes they offer. So my advice to you who took the time to read reviews- go here!!

FYI, you will receive an automated rate change notice in the mail every 6 months. They will respond to this review below with "keeping up with rising costs and to contact help@cubesmart..." but it's nonsense. I have had a unit over 2 years and my rate has increased every 6 months since I first moved in. My rent is automated and I have never missed a payment. The first rate increase I excepted but now I get an automated letter every 6 months like clockwork and I am tired of it. Instead of trying to retain customers they seem fit to raise rates until you get fed up and move out. Which is exactly what I plan to do. I know the review won't change their business practices but hopefully keep future potential customers to look elsewhere.

VERY unhappy. I tried to leave zero stars, but the system would not let me post the review. Here is my story: On a recent Sunday I raised the door to my CubeSmart storage unit and it came off the track, rolling up on itself. No staff on site, so I called the emergency customer service number, only to be told (after a 90-minute wait in 90-plus degree Texas heat) they had no one available to come out that day to fix their door. So, I had no option but to leave the unit open overnight, exposing the contents to the elements - and anyone who wanted to help themselves to my stuff. The next morning I voiced my complaint to on-site staff. They got the door back on track, but it was not properly fixed - it would only go halfway up before starting to go off track again. I was promised a repaired door and a callback from the District Manager, neither of which happened. I moved my stuff to another storage facility. In my experience, CubeSmart's customer service was not just substandard - it was non-existent.

Corporate price structure unaffordable. Found exact unit at Cubesmart on smartfoot.com for half the price. Cancelled Cubesmart and leased through smartfoot.com. Moved across the hallway to same size, first floor, climate control. I have been at this storage unit since it was privately owned by Hollytree Storage in the 1990’s. Hollytree never went up on the rates. Cubesmart goes up every 6-12 months by 25% plus. If a customer finds exact unit for half the price through an outside website like smart foot.com, Cubesmart should match the price. Tierni and Greg are WONDERFUL, and have tried faithfully to negotiate for me. But they have no control over the prices. Tyler Texas is NOT Houston. You will lose customers by continuing to hike prices. Even when we had ZERO inflation.. Cubesmart continued to raise prices annually. Outrageous! Reconsider your policy.

The leasing agent, Tierni, was wonderful. She was very helpful and even remembered my name upon subsequent visits! The only downside to this location is the size of the elevators. This may be an issue with all elevators at all storage facilities, I'm not sure. Full sized freight elevators would be much more appropriate. Almost couldn't fit our king sized headboard. Would definitely recommend.

With damage to my unit's bolt system, I was unable to secure the door before an out-of-town trip. Man-E (the General Manager) quickly removed the old sliding bolt and replaced it; attaching the lock, I was on my way in 10 minutes. Thanks for such quick, courteous, and expert help! My husband is joining the military and we had to move very quickly and for the best price and Manny Williams at the CubeSmart office went above and beyond to make this happen. He was not only friendly but he worked with us to make sure every detail was handled in a efficient and timely manner. I haven't rented yet, just checking on prices. I guarantee because of the best customer service around I will definitely rent here. Manning has the most infectious laugh. He is a true professional.

From the initial call inquiring about rental to our recent 1650# delivery there from OD Lines, the staff, especially the manager, Stefani, have been professional and accommodating. She operates the business like an owner. We've had a 15x20 unit for 18 months. Stefani assisted us with our recent OD line delivery- 1) met the driver, 2) opened our unit for him, 3) arranged some items so part of the delivery had space in our unit and 4) made arrangements for a 9'x4' item which was too large for our unit. Have recommended this location to others. 5 stars.

Easy to find. Staff was more than helpful. Manny did a great job even with the computer running slow to help me pick the right size of storage space and to help me find a good discount. Haven't moved our stuff in yet, so I will keep you posted on our experience as we go.

I went into cubesmart on hollytree to look at units and boxes. Mr. Williams greeted me at the door and was very friendly and helpful. His store was very clean. I would recommend anyone to come and see man-e if u need moving supplies or a unit. Thank u man-e for your help.

Manny Williams was amazing. He changed my perception of typical customer service in this fast paced world we live in. We were running late on a cross country trip and he agreed to stay a few minutes past closing on a Saturday night and get us signed in. Even though we turned out to be an hour late, he stayed and made sure we were taken care of, with a very upbeat and positive attitude, even though his ride was waiting for him. Kudos to CubeSmart for hiring great managers, I gladly give an excellent rating for an amazing experience.

In the midst of moving and and other major life events I forgot to pay last months bill. After 29 days I accrued over $20 of late charges, but never received any e-mails, phone calls or snail mail regarding a reminder. However, I did receive a piece of mail informing me my monthly rate was increasing. The day before they were set to cut the lock, I received a phone call and immediately went in to pay my bill and got it taken care of, to find out that no one on the staff had done their job to call and remind customers. I am currently looking for another storage facility as this is widely unacceptable especially for it being the very first time I have been late on any sort of payment, and not even getting the charges dropped after they realized they failed to send any reminder correspondence.

Great Place. The prices were excellent and the staff was helpful and courteous. I will definitely use Hollytree now, and if I ever need storage again.
