Company was not upfront about charging insurance. I did not want or need insurance. This is similar to a hotel charging “resort fees”, but not supplying this information until you are actually checking in at front desk. Also, after personally giving on- site employee vacant / termination notice; company failed to timely stop monthly automated charges.

Well just got a unit yesterday and we'll looked like water damage in unit but salesmen says it's something old tenant must of left.happy with service but he told me rent gets raised once a year.thats diffitly a red flag and after reading some reviews I'm concerned on how long I'll keep this unit

The staff was very nice and as far as the service goes, it was pretty seamless. However, there were a lot of hidden fees and sign up fees and all this stuff, so saying the first month’s rent is free is misleading because you end up paying just as much just to get the unit as you do monthly. Plus it doesn’t say so when you’re reserving the unit, but they “require” you to carry insurance on your unit and the lowest price for that is $12. So idk, they make it sound like you’re getting a deal but you’re really not.

Your personal staff was friendly, very pleasant & explained your policy to where I had no problem understanding your expectations from me. The only problem I did have was your driveways on this particular property. They were extremely narrow, especially when going to and from the unit alone the fence. And the evaluation of some them made me scrape the bottom of the truck very badly. If I had been in a smaller rental truck this wouldn't had been any problem, but I was diving a 26" rental truck.

We rented a blue unit in the very back for 7 months plus insurance. We complained about it leaking almost immediately in jan and were told it was condensation due to the weather. We used 3 Damp rid every month and moved out recently to almost everything in our unit being molded. Told the ladies in the office and they were like you got insurance just file a claim. We had to haul off our molded things because their facility dumpster is for private use only. I filed my claim on the big things and my claim was denied due to the insurance not covering MOLD, mildew or fungus!!! smh They knew that but played it off since they knew I was upset seeing my dresser and appliances full of mold. I will post my pictures, video and make sure nobody I know ever does business with Cubesmart on Gentry in Tyler, tx. The insurance they sell you covers nothing so don't buy it either.

Pretty good storage facility. The staff was friendly and professional and the facility was clean and secure. The only problem we ever had was with how narrow and sloped the lanes are. There are spots you cannot maneuver with a large Uhaul. We ended up toting everything in and out with a dolly going back and forth to the truck which was tedious.

secure storage facility; clean and safe The manager and staff here are really great. They're very helpful and always give me a courtesy call prior to my account becoming overdue and that means a lot to me (See below) I give the STAFF here 5 STARS I can give the FACILITY only 3 STARS. I ran afoul of their billing policy which is to NOT ACCEPT partial payments! As soon as 2nd month of payment is due they will not accept a partial payment of 1 month plus late fee. Be warned. It's bad for those of us who are on a fixed low income and are disabled for example and must pay for some unexpected medical or housing expense. As nice, helpful, and friendly the staff here is, they cannot change the CubeSmart billing policy.

The Office manager lives on site, Which you think would be a great thing, but NO . I was in my storage teh weekend, She was outside having a Conversation with a family friend, Im in a storage upfront. I was having issues with my storage door, it would not shut, I mean I slammed it down like 5 times, both parties just looked at me, and didnyt care I was having issues. They just left asap, YES it was after business hours. Another thing is that the insurance( mandatory we purchase CUBESMART) is no good, I need to file a cliam, I have called over and over, No one will return my calls. I have water damage to my items , where it rained in my storage. And the office flat out told me they will NOT file a cliam until I bring the WET and damanged items back so they can take a pic. In which Im not. I will not recommend anyone get a storage here. The satff is not consumer FRIENDLY, even though we pay their PAYCHECKS.

They storage room I first rented was sold to someone else. All I can say, it was a headache dealing with these people at this unit.. Thank God I went to the unit with movers because when we got there. There was a yellow lock on it and I couldn't get in. I went up to the office and told the lady that sold my other unit. She laughed and said yeah I hadn't took it off, but since your here. I need you to sign your paperwork on the new unit. So it's funny, you sold my unit and it just so happen I came up here.

Amber has gone above and beyond the call of duty for me, within the realm of what she could do in company. I have had a storage unit for 6 months, then rent went up, and I was distressed. She helped me downsize to smaller climate controlled unit and saved me money, may have to be there another 6 months. Thought about moving to other storage, makes no sense to raise rent for someone who stays with you and pays on time. (May need to rethink this policy.) Yet, the clean and safe factors, and the way Amber treated me as if my needs were important, won me over. Customer service is a lost art, to find it here has been a pleasant surprise during a trying time. I will stay as long as necessary and recommend this store to others. Thanks, Amber for relieving pressure for me!!
