Not a fan! The climate controlled area was not very cool. The insurance they make you get is very little coverage for what you pay. It is a single door entry into the climate control building. Hard to get bigger furniture into it.

Be careful as they will constantly increase your rate. They will never decrease. I started at $45/ and they worked it up to $220/m for a 10x15 I think it was, over just a couple years. So if you are on the fence of buying a shed or doing a storage long term. I recommend a shed as it will be cheaper in the long run and add value to your home. On a positive note I never had anything stolen or weather damaged. My bad rating is mostly because of the constant rate increase.

Good price, good customer service and straight forward about most fees. Required insurance wasn’t mentioned until I had already agreed on the storage unit, but no other unmentioned fees. Everyone was very helpful. The only thing I didn’t like is the fact that the price keeps changing if you don’t lock it down that particular day the price will change on you and I just feel like it’s the same space. Why do you keep changing the price. My sister and I moved literally a month apart and I paid $60 more than she does for the same exact space I just think it’s crazy.

It is a nice place. Our complaint is the greed. In less than 4 years our monthly payment increased by $146 a month. That increase is more than what we originally paid per month ($120) Crazy!! Every year a considerable increase - go somewhere else.

I am very disappointed in this place. Our electric cord got stolen from our RV, others RV accessories got stolen as well that were nearby us. Then a week later they go up on the rent! Not happy about that at all! Getting in and out of this place is also extremely difficult. The gate placement along with the location on 155 is dangerous. I do not recommend renting here if you are concerned about your stuff getting stolen.

Moving in was easy and great. BUT They do not care about customers at all or unexpected situations. I got into a car accident and was out of work and unable to make my payment for the month, so I’m having to play the catch up game. I called to make a payment for the one month, and was told they don’t allow partial payments, (my second month payment was due yesterday) and that it needs to be paid in full. They add on fees after fees until it’s paid in full (OVER $100 in fees for being a month late regardless of being able and willing to pay it up to avoid the fees) They don’t disclose that insurance is not included in rent price until after you sign the lease and adds another $15 per month. And their rent prices are outrageous compared to other places right outside of city limits. 5 minutes down the road In Noonday you can get a storage unit the same size for a third of the cost and they provide a moving truck. (I didn’t know until after I had already moved my things in) All I have to say is I’d look elsewhere for a storage unit.

It was a Sunday and I was having difficulty at another place that I had already rented and could not offload the rental truck becuase of the incline getting in the unit. I take back my good review, because if they just took an auto pay and you move out. They have a policy they don't tell people about. You don't get rent back. I had a storage unit there a uhaul truck damaged the roof on my unit causing a leak damaging some items stored there did the whole insurance thing back and forth for close to a year never received any compensation for damaged items but still kept said junk insurance for whole time I had the unit. Left very bad taste in my mouth need a better setup than what is in place.

I thought going to this storage facility would be great however my dumb self went to one far away where I can’t check it often but I needed a small one and that was the only place that had the size I needed at the time. Forward to this year and my unit was broken into sometime between February and April. Well they have no cameras in the location of my unit and could not tell who did it or when it all happened. I knew my unit was broken into bc there was the wrong lock on it and I had no key to open it so obviously something was wrong and they acted like I lost the key ????? The sad thing is the lock that was replaced on it had a sticker from them so they never would have known it was broken into. My main complaint is the lack of cameras there because I would have known who and when my unit had been broken into. They did take some things which I’m not all 100% sure since I didn’t do a great job at listing all things I had in there but I do know of a few things that were obviously taken. I didn’t do a police report because I didn’t have the time to wait there and search through everything and remember what was in there. So please ask where all cameras are located prior to going to any storage unit places.

The manager of our facility was extremely helpful and accommodating. We ended up needing to switch our storage type last minute and he was very flexible and service oriented all the way. The facility and staff are very good. The corporation that owns it is a predator and will try to force tenants to ever higher rent. They purchased every facility in the area and then unilaterally raised rent without any economic justification other than greed. I would only use this if there were no alternative or better yet just sell your property. It would be cheaper in the long run than to deal with Cubesmart.

I have a climate controlled unit and went to check on it today to find the air conditioner wasn't working. Also, it smelled like something dead on the hall my unit is on. They were aware of the stink but hadn't done anything about it. Said they would contact people with units on there. Said well...it wasn't quite this hot yesterday...in other words, they were aware but hadn't done anything about it. They said they'll put in a work order but it will probably take a while before the a/c is fixed. In the meantime, my antiques are sitting in the boiling heat and my clothes furniture will be absorbing the stink that they have been aware of for a while. I'm not very happy about this situation but will now be going by every couple of days to make sure they take care of the problems

Staff is great, always available and willing to go beyond what is expected. Our goods were stored in one of older units, mildew and yellowing were present on some of them, plus, moisture was present on the floor at the back wall. In addition, mildew was present on walls. Newer units are dry. I recommend Cube Smart on 155 Tyler tx, just rent newer unit if you have valuables .

The entire team at CubeSmart at this location is to be commended. We have been working with the team here for months trying to resolve a difficult situation with a relative who had rented several storage units. Due to health issues, she was unable to stay current. Without going into all the details to respect her privacy, the CubeSmart folks worked with us to resolve the situation in a professional and empathetic way. I can't say enough positive things about this location! It is clean and secure. We ended up renting multiple units during a move and renovation. I want to rave about the staff! All of them are friendly and helpful! They assisted us many times answering questions and adding units. If I ever need to rent storage again, this is where we'll return! My family has rented units at this location for at least a decade, so please understand where I'm coming from because I don't say any of this lightly: trust and price are in my opinion the biggest portion of renting storage. Personally my wife and I rented a standard unit under 2 years ago because my family has been very happy here. Since that time, understandable billing issues were very slow to get fixed and a constant run-around between the corporate customer service and the local management, both saying at various points "we don't have access to that you need to contact..." and point the finger in the others direction. In less than 2 years we have had at least 2 substantial rate increases. Signed up around $100 and now we are up to over $140. Definitely one of the most expensive in the area. Now you may be thinking, "for lots of money, at least my stuff is the most secure!" Unfortunately this is my biggest issue with this place. When the gate was,(their words) "struck by lightening" and was just left open, it took them more than a month to get it fixed. When I asked management about it, I received a very long list of excuses why it wasn't fixed in a timely manner. And was told that absolutely no compensation would be made due to agreed services advertised were not provided. "But they did fix it and everything was ok! Right?" Not really. There was also a very large fire/explosion at this location and every single extension cord, including my own, was stolen. Since then, no explanation or compensation has been made. Their nonchalant and flippant attitude toward security is extremely worrisome to me, because I personally work in security. I know physical security is the first and last lines of defense, instilled in the culture of the owning entity. My bottom line: If you want to trust your stuff is safe and your rate remains decently competitive, look elsewhere, and look locally owned. CubeSmart.....***CAVEAT EMPTOR***

CubeSmart on 155 is awesome. Ask for Gary, he is literally the most helpful employee of all time. Helped me coordinate my move in and move out days with 100% patience and competancy. After visiting and considering the other Cubesmart Storage facilities in Tyler Texas, this was by far the best choice for my needs and the staff at the Hhy 155 location was superb. Gary, Theresa and all the staff there were very helpful and went above and beyond to assist me and show me all the units and discuss the options that were available to me. After choosing the storage option that was best for me, Gary assisted me in getting the best rate and explained everything I needed to know. Only left one star because I had to. The absolute worst customer service experience I can ever recall having. The manager was very rude, had an attitude the entire time, and seemed like my husband and I were inconveniencing her by our very presence. If we weren't borderline desperate to get a unit right away, we would never use this place and definitely never recommend it to anyone else.

I went to Tyler to begin to use my storage unit. The Contract was on a small screen with several pages. It would have been nice to have a written copy instead. I signed and then learned that I needed to buy insurance at $12/month. I replied that I had homeowners insurance that would cover it and they asked me if I brought proof of the insurance. I said I had not because it was not stated as a condition on the website. Since it was required and I did not want to take a 70 mile round trip to bring back proof I paid the amount and told the mgr. that I would provide proof of the insurance and expect a refund. I went to the unit which was approximately the size I had reserved(smaller) and filled it. It was a small locker backed against an interior wall and there was no backing on my storage unit leaving it open to Vermin and also someone moving it from the wall and going in through the back. I went home and attached a copy of my insurance to an e-mail and sent it to the mgr. and said I would call the next day to receive a refund on the insurance and pay for a year in advance. I called today and the mgr. told me no refund for the insurance, but I think I was able to get a refund after considerable arguing. Apparently, this is a bonus charge that all mgrs. are required to charge that has no real value if you are self insured. Also the conditions of the contract are weighted heavily in favor of the company and it appears they try to get you to sign away your legal rights and charge you outrageous fees for not paying on time. Message to all is to bring a copy of your insurance if you already have homeowners and to make sure you pay in advance or set up an auto pay. On the plus side the grounds were clean and appeared to be well maintained. Gated storage open for most times you would need it and seemed secure.
