I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding an incident that occurred during my recent visit to your establishment. On 11/27/2024 I was subjected to unprofessional and disrespectful treatment by one of your front desk staff members ISABELA at the Murray location Salt Lake City, UT. My experience began when ISABELA informed me that I was required to vacate the premises immediately while unpacking to store my things from my move from Atlanta, GA to Salt Lake City, UT. This demand was made without clear explanation or justification, and the tone and manner in which I was addressed were completely inappropriate. She kept yelling and giving me ultimatums like I broke into the facility. Instead of handling the situation calmly and respectfully, I was spoken to in a forceful and disrespectful manner that made me and partner feel both uncomfortable and belittled. When I attempted to clarify the situation and seek an amicable resolution, the ISABELA’s behavior escalated, and I was ultimately forced to tell her to involve law enforcement to ensure a civil and diplomatic resolution since she wasn’t being reasonable at every chance I’ve given. It was deeply distressing to be placed in a situation where police intervention was necessary simply to resolve a misunderstanding that could have been addressed more professionally, especially when she failed to completely inform us of what was expected prior to our final move to the facility. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of the circumstances. The way I was treated not only tarnished my perception of your business but also caused unnecessary stress and anxiety. I would appreciate an explanation of the actions taken by your staff ISABELA and how you intend to address this matter to prevent similar situations from occurring in the future. I hope you take this complaint seriously and ensure that your employees are trained to handle such situations with courtesy and professionalism.

This location is wonderful and the gentleman at the front counter was amazing! There was a lady who was from another location who I was trying to get my unit figured out and had a U-HAUL AND SHE WAS A MASSIVE PAIN! She was rude and disrespectful and I get you are from another location but can you not just be a little respectful and patient with those attempting to get things figured out and moving stuff in?

Definitely one of the better storage units I've used, their climate controlled units are very nice and "cool" the temperature is very well regulated. The staff was also great I spoke to Natalie and Colton they were awesome and made sure they can accommodate to what I needed. Give them a try they wont disappoint! Natalie, the manager, was extremely unprofessional and rude. Needless to say, I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. CubeSmart as a company was fine to work with when I called the 1-800 number, as long as I didn’t have to deal with the manager on site, who was hardly ever in the office, with a note on the door most times saying they’d be right back but no one ever came back.

I needed to get into my storage unit on Sunday when the office was closed and the app and the electronic service worked so good I got my gate code and my unit number right in my email. I got over to the place they had a temporary lock on it and my brand new lock inside it was awesome then I got a text message the next day from them saying welcome and it was just very easy close to my house and great great communication.

Andy and Dominic at my location (5180 Commerce Dr, Murray UT) are fantastic. They are both very friendly and courteous. They were always available to answer my questions. This was the first time I rented a storage unit, and the process could not have been easier. Andy showed me various sizes and answered all my questions when I rented it two years ago. Recnently my unit needed to have the door changed. I received a letter explaining the process and Dominic followed up with a phone call to walk me through the procedure. They are really great guys!

The online service for CubeSmart was very easy, to the point, and convenient. I reserved the 5×15 unit in a matter of seconds. The manager, Andy Campbell, call me the next morning and with a very friendly manner and without undue imposition gave me additional information. When I went to see the place that afternoon, Andy greeted me amicably and showed me the unit and explained the ease with which the place was accessible to the renters yet very secure from the outside elements, again without any pressure. Then when I decided to take the unit, the paperwork was easy, comprehensive, and quick. Overall it was a very productive and pleasant experience for me; I wish all businesses operated that way.

A super convenient location if you live on the East bench. Right at the 1-15/2-15 interchange. Seconds off of the exit. Clean and well lit. Management was awesome. I haven't been to my storage in quite a while. Called the office and spoke with Dominick. Because I forgot my code and wanted to know what needed to be done to access my storage unit. Well, I didn't know how secure my information was with cube smart storage. But he asked me several questions. Only I would know. Such as last four digits of my drivers license, my phone number, storage unit number, and my email address. He was still hesitant on giving out any information. Until I told him, myself and my brother were on the account. After answering all his questions, correctly. He finally gave me, my code. He told me about the new app. And it's And told next time I'm on the property. To come into the office with my ID. And he would offer to change my gate code to something I could remember. I've been here since 2014. And now knowing Dominick his here, I feel that not only my information is safe, but all my belongings are just as safe. I will recommend this place to any friends and family, that ever needs a storage unit.

So far, CubeSmart has been a good storage spot. Of course, it is close to where I am and conveniently located. Prices are fair and the same or better than my last storage. But what really impressed me was the guy behind the desk. The Manager, Dominic. He was friendly, & helpful. He answered all my questions. He was very efficient & seemed to go above and beyond to do his job, yet make sure I got what I wanted/needed...... ...he did the best he could to make sure I was a happy camper. And with my complicated personal situation, that can be difficult ! (LoL) But, that little extra effort is not so common, yet can mean a lot sometimes. Thanks Dominic and CubeSmart-- for that little bit of something extra & also for helping me start my New Year off to a great start!

I had a great experience using them! There was even a time I locked the unit up incorrectly, and they gave me a call shortly after so I could come fix my lock and prevent anything from getting stolen. My Unit was clean and never had any signs of rodents or bugs.

The staff was super nice. The unit was SUPER easy to rent, especially because our original unit fell through and we needed something immediately. It was so immediate that we had the stuff loaded in the truck and we were looking for a new unit. Check out was super easy. It was close to our new house.The only downside was the doors for the unit are narrow, like a regular door, not like some units that have a garage-like door. We made it work, but it was unexpected.

I don't know what more you'd want from a storage unit, but I've been very impressed with this location's operation. Clean, friendly, good price, great location, secure, etc... They just get "it". They were very friendly and explained everything very well. No pressure and you get to talk to an human who's understanding and helpful. Slightly better prices than other storage units nearby. They also didn't try and stick you with extra fees and something hidden. Extra Space Storage 4 years ago stuck me with extra fees when I canceled and it was a horrible experience. CubeSmart was fair and easy to cancel with when I didn't need the unit anymore. Very clean. We had an indoor unit and it wasn't dusty and there were no rats or mice or anything. Felt good walking in each time. Great location just off the I-15 and not too far from I-215. Staff. Each time I talked to a staff member they were nice and helpful. Never a confusing or frustrating conversation. Overall, I don't know what more you'd want from a storage unit. They were great for the time I used them.

Rates are a little high, number keypad is a bit worn off at entrance, tight alleys caused an accident that we saw, so that's why I'm taking a star off. It a really good storage place! Clean and very professionally run. The reason they got a lower rating is because there is no lighting in the unit and not a single available outlet accessible anywhere. I do understand that this does discourage people from trying to live or hangout in the unit. I have had a lot for storage units and this is the only one I have ever had like this and it has caused me a lot of issues because I need access to a power outlet for medical reasons.

I confirmed my storage rental at CubeSmart yesterday and had an excellent experience. Andy Campbell, General Manager, was wonderful! He took the time to walk me through the contract, all of my options, and showed me the unit I would be renting. It's a good thing he did because I had selected a unit that was much too small. Andy was able to make the switch to a larger unit, no sweat. I was also offered the use of the CubeSmart moving truck to assist with my move. Thank you for taking such good care of us! Highly recommend.

We showed up to the office the day of and were able to get a 5x5 unit. Zachary helped us out and he was extremely helpful and friendly, I give him five stars. I would give the company as a whole 4 stars because you have to buy insurance which isn't really disclosed to you unless you do some digging around the website. Ours was about $12. I understand they are trying to limit liability but just include it in the cost so I don't even know...

This is the best storage experience I've ever had and I am so very pleased with it I am giving a 5 star rating!! The general manager, Andy Campbell, was very efficient and treated me like a first class citizen. He made my stay very easy. He had my unit clean and ready to move in. Also, while I was moving in, he made sure there were no other vehicles blocking my entry into the unit. And, Haleigh, his assistant was vey helpful as well. I also love that their office is open on Sunday. Give them a try, you won't find a better place. Believe me I've tried three others and, hands down, this is the best place! Many thanks, CubeSmart!!!

It's the first time I've rented a storage unit, and I wasn't shy about asking what I was buying. The good news is that my questions were answered in a fantastic manner. I like it when I can plainly speak and it is clear to me that the person listening (in this case Drew and Jenasea) knows how to treat me like a person and is very knowledge. Both were ready to answer my questions, never stumbled around answers, and knew why I was asking these questions and knew where I was going with my line of questions. And isn't that what most people want when they're trying something for the first time? Also, the fact they were very friendly and generous, offering me refreshments and addressing my comfort concerns, is what earned them the fifth star.

Angie was absolutely the best. Above and beyond a guardian angel. Which is why I'm moving to her new place away from this place. Genesee is also very sweet and personable but strict. As for Cubesmart as a company.... they've sucked me into a financial black hole. I moved here agreeing to pay $100 more per month than the unit I had the exact same size down the street one block and paid a friend an extra $100 to help me move it because the larger units could have an extra power supply run to them for a small extra fee per month so I could use it as a shop.... I have been here nearly 6 months and my entire row hasn't even had so much as power to be light bulb. Not having the power promised has run my business just about into the ground. Not to mention my gutter has when pouring water right in front of my shed ever since it started raining and snowing. They've known about it since it started. And still have yet to fix it. I've had to do it myself after about 7 feet of water into my unit was on the floor. My door on my smaller unit is about to fall off they have also known about this the whole time and just will not do anything about any of it. When I moved in they were allowed to accept mail or packages and put them in your unit for you as well as have Wi-Fi on site. Now the packages they can accept our ups and no longer have Wi-Fi. I pay an outrageous $260 a month instead of $160 a month and I don't even have a light bulb. I'm fed up with the carelessness of the higher management of this company. Don't want the look of the place this deceive you it's kept up very well but only from first glance.

Jenasea VanDerVeur at CubeSmart is very friendly so if you need a storage unit she is the one to see you won't find a nicer person anywhere. Shawn

I have rent from this place for years angie is great and jesssica is great. They always help out. I just wish the price would not keep going up every six month. For people who rent there a lot I moved to a different unit and the door is broken. Was not happy about that but what keeps me there is the staff and location.

I looked around at various options and this facility fit the bill. Good location, pricing, and most of all great service from Angie and Jenesea. Their service was what made me choose here rather than another facility.
