Before completing my reservation I went to the office to see if I could look at a unit so that I got the right size. The man at the counter was extremely rude from the second I walked in. No greeting, just stared at me like I shouldn’t have been in there, literally rolled his eyes when I asked if I could see a unit and then he pointed to a picture on the wall behind me and said “There. See it?” My husband asked if he could please show us inside one and he audibly huffed, started slamming things, walked out the front door without a word and let it slam back in our faces when we tried to follow. He walked way ahead of us almost stomping in frustration the whole way. When he opened the door he threw it up so fast I thought it would break. And then he pulled it down and slammed within a few seconds while we stood and looked, then proceeded to walk off without a word again. My husband said I’m sorry if we caught you on a bad day. And he just said “Sure.” Then kept walking and went back in the office without asking if we needed anything else or anything. Probably the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Units were decent enough and accessible. I completed my reservation because of the sale and because I won’t be needing the storage for long but it would be unlikely I would ever feel comfortable enough to return to this business after being treated so poorly.

Absolutely do not bring your stuff here if you want it to be safe! Even if locks are on the unit, there is constant break ins, low security and the staff do not actually care about pursing any thieves or calling police and have smug attitudes. The current staff get snarky and act like having insurance is the only thing that matters and that this is all just about money. They are rude and lazy and even with the active breakins, they do nothing to vamp up the security. They do nothing to stop people from committing theft. They do nothing to legally pursue those who have commited theft. Never in my life have I seen any business with a staff that has such a total disregard for others and their property. If I was the owner I would fire some people and install new cameras and make sure police reports were properly filed everytime there is a break in. These people breaking in are destroying peoples lives. If these break ins keep happening and being ignored by employees…I hope this place gets shut down. Do not come here unless you feel like getting robbed and the staff just allowing it! Other units were also robbed on January 18th and throughout the week. Their Robberies were also left unresolved and to my knowledge the staff is keen on not having police involvement. I removed what was left from my unit and have taken my business elsewhere.

It is not safe to store your things here. The units are not professionally made, the construction is shoddy and can very easily be broken in to. Someone tried to break into my unit (thankfully they gave up) When I showed the managers my damaged lock they tried to say the cut marks were "scratches". Then they became combative and uncooperative with what is clearly a major safety issue. There are hardly any cameras on site, there are blankets draped over the barbed wire fencing so people are clearly getting in and out. Management does nothing and are completely unprofessional. I tried to get corporate CubeSmart involved and have had no help from them. This neighborhood has a lot of theft problems so do yourself a favor and store elsewhere.

Pros: Close to airport, friendly employee on the phone. Cons: BEWARE the Goathead thorns, we have ruined more than three pair of shoes walking on them. Even tweezers and hours working on them and they were still ruined. Too many broken down, flat tire vehicles in the lot. We recently picked up a vehicle and found a large rodent nest on the engine under the hood.

Well the whole experience was really easy and convenient. Were you able to book it online and get all the information emailed to us and then all we had to do is show up on the day that I moved and everything fit in perfectly. I can't say if the price is good or not because I haven't really stored anything before but it seems like they're a little bit cheaper than some of the other places but they're all pretty close to the same price for what you get. But I would definitely recommend CubeSmart.

The unit assigned to us showed signs of water coming under the back wall, and there was water damage on the slab. It was not cleaned prior to us moving in. The vehicle/trailer parking is over grown with weeds and the overall maintenance of the grounds is very poor (Redwood Rd location). Although We never moved in and ended up going with a different storage company, customer service was responsive, helpful in getting us a refund, and seemed genuine about fixing the issues we ran into which is why I'm not putting one star.

STAY AWAY! I stored my vehicle there for four months and then told the office I was leaving in two weeks and came back in two weeks and found out someone cut out my catalytic converter. The employee just so happen to be out there when a started my vehicle, which sounded like a race car, and he came up to me and told me you should of purchased insurance with us and then it would have been covered. Definitely an inside job.

My truck was broken into many weeks before I returned to salt lake. Management did not inform me, or seem to care that there had been an incident on the property. When I arrived, my bed cover had been removed from my truck, all the contents of truck bed were thrown on the ground next to the bed cover. Additionally gas had been siphon out of my gas tank and the gas cap was missing. I had to call AAA to get the vehicle going because the truck battery was dead because the vandals set off my alarm. I understand that things sometimes happen. But it is up to management to know whats going on the property, inform tenants that might not be there there was an incident and work with them to make them feel whole again. As I am paying for a safe and secure place to keep my truck. I ended up leaving and taking all my valuables back to Alaska since I didn't feel safe renting a storage unit from here for the summer.

Don't rent from this place. Their security is horrible, as in no security cameras at all. No matter what kind of padlock you have on your unit, somehow someone manages to grind it off and take things from you. The last time mine was broken into, management put a different lock on my unit (the lock was the same as what I had before) and failed to notify me. When I found out about the break-in, there was no one in the office and I had to contact them by email. Their response was that they discovered the issue two days prior but "forgot" to contact me because they were "too busy". Like I said, don't rent from this place.

For example I asked for rain gutter extensions as my things are getting ruined by the water going into my unit. Mangers response was he was concerned about water running into the middle of road?!? CubeSmart made it very easy to determine the availability of different sizes of nearby facilities. And the online process of reserving, paying for, and then accessing the facility was easy and very quick. No physical interaction with a human is necessary, but it is worth stopping to talk to the staff as they are friendly and eager to assist. The only disappointment I have is that the advertised pricing is a little deceptive. The monthly rates quoted are attractive. But you don't find out about the $24 one-time processing charge, the $12 monthly insurance charge, nor the $15 lock purchase fees until you are finishing the reservation process.

They sold me a lock and the first time I go to open it the key breaks in the lock. No one was there when this happened. I called and left a voicemail about the issue but no one called back. I came back later in the day and when I explained the issue to the Manager he literally started laughing. I had to drive an extra 60 miles to come back and get them to switch out the lock and they wouldn’t provide a refund. Horrible customer service. If I wasn’t moving I would get all my stuff out of there and find a different storage company. The manager at this location has zero respect for customers and horrible people skills. When a customer is communicating a problem (that’s the businesses fault) you don’t laugh at them, you apologize and make it right. I guess the manager has very little experience or doesn’t care about his job. Do yourself a favor and just go to Extra Space Storage.

This was my first experience with storage units and it was very pleasant. The employees were friendly and helpful. When I asked to move into a smaller unit they had no problem doing so. I felt that the entire process from reserving a unit online, to moving in, to changing units was quick and easy.

Christopher and Stephanie are great! When I worked with them to find a spot for my van for the winter they were patient, helpful and got me a perfect spot at their location. They walked the parking area to show me the spot and just how to park and discussed their long term plans for the parking area. It was reassuring to know they care about making their lot and storage areas as easy to use as possible. Looking to continue to improve signage and layouts to make a better experience for customers. My van is in good hands!

My phone died on me while I was trying to send for an uber ride. I needed to get back to my job and had no phone charger. Cubesmart was the closet business to me. The lady Audri, was very accomodating and friendly, while busy with phone calls. Thanks for making a challenging day alot better

Great service and a great price. The reason this isn't 5 stars, though, is that the quote they gave me online for what I would pay the first day was pretty far off. It quoted $107 and I paid $185, as it didn't account for certain fees and paying for locks. I don't recall it warning me about those, either. So that was disappointing.

Compleat RIP OFF me and my wife moved from st george to saltlake. We rented a 10×5. And. Went to our unit and first thing we did was empty all contents from the car i was going to return the next morning to place a lock on the unit cuz i had to go to work the next day before i could return i recived a call from cubesmart stating they had put a lock on my unit and i was to move out because they beleived that i was living in the unit and tbere was 2 pacs of romian noodles thay found in the unit. I was told to get my stuff out and i would not get the 120 dollars i paid back. I tried to explain no one had been in the unit at all. And there was no evidence of anyone in the unit. I dont understand this at all. But im out 120 dollars. And. A bad taste in my mouth.

UPDATE - I had been robbed here and the staff didn't help or didn't care. This is only for the Cubsmart at 350 S Redwood Road. If you have anything here, move it. If you value what you store, move it some where else. The management there DOES NOT CARE. They DO NOT RESPOND, and most of all when asked if he can review video, amazingly said all cameras are DOWN... I will consider CUBESMART in Florida and other locations, but NEVER here in Salt Lake City. The following is a five star. I had an emergency situation, and I called. I spent ten minutes on the phone talking with Angel Garrison. The more pleasant conversation was to find my needs. I explained and the next day I had the BEST solution of the entire Salt Lake Valley. I shopped, and CubeSmart delivered. A secure location, very reasonable price, and FRIENDLY attention to detail. This made me feel like a truly welcomed client that has been welcomed home. I suggest to shop around, but before you agree to anything talk to Angel, you won't regret it!

Well this place works. The entrance to this is kinda sketchy though, the storm drain dips down a good foot and a half. But other than that it's good. The place is gated off and seems secure enough. It appears as though you can store your RV, buses, trailers, ect... Here. Good place.

The general manager was less than helpful when I needed to make a last minute arrangement to rent a storage space for my travel trailer. I was traveling and needed a unit on Sunday morning as early as possible since I had a 15 hour day of driving ahead of me. After explaining my situation and asking for someone to meet me early morning, the general manager had someone come in at 10:30am instead of 11am. I arrived at 10:30am only to still have to wait for someone to arrive. Shortly after arriving I learned the general manager lives on the property and actually had to let the employee in the office. I don't understand how a general manager who lives on the property would not help me out when it was obvious that I needed it. Also, the storage lot was full of derelict trailers and I felt uncomfortable about the security of the property. I plan to remove my trailer as soon as possible from the lot and plan to never use this location again for any of my storage needs.

For the most part, I was having a decent experience. I initially went because they rented a unit in my size for just under $70. After going through all the paper work, turns out there's a $12 mandatory monthly insurance. Not happy with that but it's not outrageous. Come this month, I go to check my bill, and it's unexpectedly gone up by $10. Must be a mistake? I call the site manager, who -- I kid you not -- tells me "yeah we just raise it every 3 months." She couldn't even bother to make up a stupid reason? Because of this rent increase, I'll be taking my businesses elsewhere.

BEWARE. I received a notice that my stuff would go to auction if I didn't pay by the 5th. I call week before to verify day so I could buy it. They told me it was gone. What? Here is besr part. Year later I'm at friend house I look around see all my stuff. He had been there with me but was not on lease. They let him pay my balance and take my stuff. Scandalous . I should sue. I'm looking into lawyer. Be careful. I'm not the only one they did this too.

He always went above and beyond to really get to know us so he could better meet our needs, and was always both friendly and professional. It's rare to find a business that makes you feel valued as a customer, but Hunter exemplifies what excellent customer service is all about - connecting with people. The work that they put into maintaining the units and keeping them clean is impressive and the location is incredibly convenient - super close to the freeway and major roads. Staff friendly, or at least the one person who was there was friendly. The facility is average, not great not bad. Outdoor/drive up units. Pricing looks enticingly low, but required insurance costs make it very average pricing for the area.

CubeSmart is the right price for me! The Green Line to the Airport goes to Power Station; then the bus (217) goes to the front door to CubeSmart. From my place downtown SLC I can take trax and the bus! Awesome for saving money. Hunter did an excellent job getting me into my unit. I think I did the right thing!

Hunter. OK I'll say this hunter has no biz being a manager of anything,hes a redneck racist prick,he is not a good guy, I has a big truck and couldn't get it to my unit so the girl that worked there came with the golf cart and helped me shuttle it like 4 loads worth,i we were on the last load and red neck hunter walked 3 blocks to take the cart back,i told him we would be done in 5 mins he didn't care so we had to walk a block in 103 degree heat to unload what could of been a done deal,he did it on purpose to be a prick,told me and I quote that we don't use these carts for this,thats funny because when I left with sweat dripping from there i saw him driving the cart with box's on it proving my point,im pulling my stuff out asap and I hope he's fired,people like him is why others hate white people,by the way im white so that should tell u all you need to know.

Very Pleasant customer service, good gate hours, and good sized units available. My only problem is that they are dark. Each unit should have a light in it, not just the hallway. I had to take a flashlight in with me. Otherwise really good place. Hard to get to though, too. Got to go up the street and make a U-Turn at the light.

This is the second time I have had to choose a storage facility for my belongings and it is the first time I have been treated as more than a unit number that collects rent. Andy Campbell treated me with great respect and even held the storage unit that I needed an extra few days that I needed for my paycheck to come. He could have rented it out to another person, but he was good enough to help me by holding it. I was recommended by my sister who also stores here and I will recommend it to anyone who needs storage. It is also better priced than the last facility I used.

We had a great experience with their employee Hunter. The manger Andy Campbell was, well on the other hand very unprofessional when it came to being able to pull our 39' motor home back in the space. The motor home spaces are very small and disorganized. He did not supervise the parking of another motor home in front of us and therefore we were unable to move our R.V back in the space. He did not offer any assistance in help us. Along, with renting a storage unit I rented the RV space, only to be told by him that if I did not like it I could move out. I had just moved all of my item to be stored in the unit and paid for it.

I am very busy and l can never remember when my storage payment is due, thank goodness I get reminders. Andy and Hunter are always pleasant to speak with and very helpful and always ready to WOW me! I feel safe here with all the cameras and the lights showing me the way to my clearly marked storage cube. The property is the cleanest one I've ever been in.

I have found the customer service to always be top notch at this location. Initial sign up was easy and efficient with Gina. Andy was quick to notify me when with another vehicle scraped my stored vehicle and worked as a friendly liaison between all parties. When I needed to move my vehicles out with same day notice to CubeSmart after a snow, Aaron Burningham was a tremendous help, almost single handedly shoveling a path clear for my motorhome. Great folks all around. Will definitely store my vehicles here again.

"Love It" I have to say that the personal compassion and professional priority that The Manager(s), "Andy" has been during my time here, has been amazing !!! He even Remembered my name, my sons name, etc. Way cool, Especially since it was a week or so after I rented that I seen him again ! My name and my sons, That was just too cool. He Worked with me, both times I've had an issuing need, (for a larger unit) to move from one to the other, and then again to get payments caught up. That means the world to me, for this is my whole " life " inside my unit. My place of "Storage" has always been a big deal to me, The manager, security, property maintenance, other tenants, etc. Its all considered when looking to rent ... I was lied to by cubesmart customer service. When I arrived (with cars loaded) I had to try to renegotiate the price and unit that I was promised, because both were blatantly different that what I was told. They wouldn't comply. Bad. Very bad. We quickly found another company nearby with better prices.

I was turned away twice when trying to make my rent payment. Both times I was told that the office was closed even though I arrived druing normal business hours with the doors open. This was extremely frustrating.
