I was looking for a good service and most of times I didn't find one because there wasn't somebody in the office. Even, I spent 1 hour waiting in Public Storage and finally I found to CubeSmart in South Salt Lake. Don't go to CubeSmart from Redwood Road. There's a man who don't care about what you need and he looks tired of his job.

Easy process. Sybil is very nice and explanatory. You need a certain lock so if you can find that cheaper to use do it. Otherwise it is 20$ from them. The units are clean and it seems very secure.

I had to store everything from my 2BDR SLC apartment in March 2024 with little notice. I chose CubeSmart after an extensive search, based on their competitive rates and excellent customer service from Alisia and Sybil. Yesterday I booked a second 10’x15’ unit with Sybil, which I’ll fill with all my additional stuff. I was pleasantly surprised to receive the same great rate, so I prepaid both units thru the start of 2025. Given the nature of this sector, I’m mightily impressed with how courteous, competent, available, and accountable these ladies have performed (including recent upgrades to their units), and I would highly recommend CubeSmart to anyone in need of personal storage.

Me and my girlfriend's experience was very simple and easy. They made it clear on how to get through the gates and unit number. They also drove us on their golf cart . They went the extra mile by emailing all the document, receipts, property map, guide on all the codes and instructions. This was a great price and nice location. You should only use this place for temporary storage. Their business model is to continually raise rates, well beyond what they're charging new customers. I've had my stuff stored here since 2005, and I've had to renegotiate my rent numerous times, and they fought me on it every time. Right now, I'm paying double what they advertise online. I won't play the game anymore. I have moved my stuff to a climate-controlled facility, where I'm paying less money. I should've moved years ago. The current manager is a very nice person, and this isn't her fault. It's just CubeSmart's standard practice.

We arrived late and worked with the gal there to allow us to unload our trailer after the 10pm cutoff time. Honestly, the best! Between raising prices often, especially after leaving a negative review. I decided I will NEVER again use CubeSmart Storage. It was the worst! I never could find anyone on site. I spaced paying on month, and when I paid the bill. They failed to remove their lock on my unit. When I couldnt find anyone to remove it I had to waste a day until someone finally removed it. They failed as a storage unit provider.

After a few months of being a customer we got a notice they were raising our rates just because. Just a bait and switch. It's a good location, so we'll stay there through the end of the year then we will be gone. Wouldn't be surprised if our rates go up again between now and then.

Another company that offers competitive move in prices but will continue to send you rent increase cards in the mail. After the third rent increase, I decided to reassess my needs in hopes of avoiding a forth. I had too many issues with the office personnel here. One person would tell me one thing that another would not honor. This took an excessive amount of time and energy on my end to get things resolved. Finally calling Corporate was the answer. I was offered a covid discount one month but had to wait 2 months for it. I think they were hoping I would just vacate first. This place was at least reasonably accessible from the main road. Please think of others when you access your unit. The driveways between the units barely have enough room to allow two cars space to pass. Think ahead when you park in front of someone else's door or start stacking anything outside.The free moving truck was never available when I asked to borrow it and I tried several times over the years at different locations. Never once was it available though I was willing to work my schedule around it, nor was I given a date when it would be so I could reserve it-which I was told they don't allow anyway. Its on a "first come first served" basis.

Manager got me into unit with operating light fixture . I am so tired from moving so leaving short messag. Our unit is not climate control so if anyone has food rats and mice can get in. Has a bathroom you can use during business hours with key from manager. Would like too see vending machines on inside locked gate, but can't be too choosy. Property is inspected.

The office staff was very informative and accommodating. There was never i time that I wanted to get into my unit, but couldn’t. The hours of operation were very convenient. The size of my unit was perfect for my needs, and the auto pay option made payment very easy.

So far so good! I just started renting with Cube Smart just a few days ago and I've had a good experience so far. The front office staff is very helpful so I feel pretty confident from that end. There is some definite wear and tear on the exterior of the units but the interior has been sufficient.

My wife and I ended up having to move everything ourselves when our help bailed out we were at the gate go leave at 10:03 PM and talk of evicted us was already being thrown around with "I don't care about you or your situation".

I've been using this location of CubeSmart for years, and I have always been satisfied. The location is great--near the freeway, easy access. The service is excellent. Today, for example, Zachary took extra time making sure that I was completely satisfied as I moved from one storage unit to another. I took my time making the decision--going back and forth--and he was more than patient throughout the process. This friendly service is typical of my experiences over the years. Two years later: I just moved to a smaller unit at this same CubeSmart, with the help of those in the office, Ashley and Alicia. Thanks to them and their excellent help, I found just what I needed. I love this place. Five stars, once again!

Zachary was very helpful and knowledgeable. Our storage unit was clean, located inside, and it is tall! The walls of the units aren't very sturdy so you can't rest heavy things on them (no problem), my only wish is that the unit had some lighting. I love that they have RV/vehicle storage. The location is hidden in an industrial area which makes me feel secure about our belongings- my opinion. Can't beat their online pricing. We chose them for their cheap prices and the convenience of their location.

Asked to terminate my lease with the older gentleman, and a half month refund for all the problems. The guy didn't even terminate the lease like he said he would. Didn't list me as military at move in, bottom of door was pushed in like someone tried to break in, light doesn't function, top of door was falling off the rails, homeless people live here, and they force you to buy their "mandatory" disc lock that half the people don't use.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called in to reserve a unit, and got dispatched to the national call center. I told the agent what size of unit I wanted, and he pressured me into getting a smaller unit, saying the unit would have plenty of space for all of my stuff in my three-bedroom apartment. When I arrived on site, the unit was clearly too small. The on site employee recommended that I try to get everything to fit, and if it didn't fit we could rent a smaller unit adjacent to get everything in. Once we filled the larger unit, which took about 1 hour, the employee informed me that he no longer had smaller units available for me to rent. They did not try to accommodate me, but instead tried to get me to get a bigger unit (which was the original size I wanted in the first place when i called in to schedule a unit. I was short on time, so I was forced to go across town to another storage unit to store the remainder of my items. I was very disappointed with the way I was treated throughout the whole process.

I have been here for more than a year now and they have been SUPER accommodating!! I was in the hospital for MONTHS... Like almost THREE MONTHS and they still didn't foreclose my unit on me!! Not sure the manager of this location is on the level. I reserved a 5 x 10 at the 3528 S 300 W location in Salt Lake City, and called before going over to sign the paperwork to make sure of the details. The man who answered the phone told me that customers were required to carry the Cube Smart insurance for the first month, even if I brought in proof of renter's or homeowner's insurance. He also told me that all customers were required to use a disc lock, which they sold at the store for $16. I called the national Cube Smart customer service line. They told me that Cube Smart does NOT require Cube Smart insurance for the first month or any other month, as long as you provide proof of your own renter's or homeowner's insurance. They also said that while some Cube Smart locations require disc locks, this location had no such indication in their database, and that as long as my lock fit the door, I could use my own. Also, that the disc locks normally sold for $14 in their stores. They promised to follow up with this location's manager. It seems like the national customer service and likely other local managers are fine, but I'd watch out for this one.
