My sister is one of those women who is blessed by being blessing to others. When she answers the phone in tears, I am ready to do and say what she wouldn’t! She was in the process of relocating, not having all that was needed for her move she decided that she should move her things into storage. A couple of days later she received some news and she couldn’t leave her things in storage. Now she has been renting with cubesmart since I was just learning to crawl. So this is hard to type but the male representative was so dismissive and not budging about issuing her some type of refund. She stated that she spoke with corporate and then said it could be done, went back and forth a couple of times however the agent hung up or dropped the call. She has asked at least 3 people to support this endeavor all she was asking is for some of what she pains to be, they got the unit back and I bet it’ll be rented out tomorrow! Mimi at the Langston Blvd location was so incredibly helpful and kind. I had accidentally placed my items in the wrong storage, and I believe if it were any other storage unit, I'm almost certain they wouldn't have been as considerate and understanding as Mimi was. She contacted me right away, and let me know of the situation. She even re-installed another lock to make sure my items remained safe until I could make it back to the storage unit. That evening when I came, she walked with me to the unit and helped me set up my new storage space. When we realized that there was another error, she took the time to fix it. Throughout the entire set-up process, she was so incredibly kind and patient with me. Also, on my first night trying to get there, I got very lost. She took the time to stand outside for a long time until I could get there. She was very patient and gave me very careful directions until I managed to figure it out, but in both cases, I really appreciated her help and kindness. I would really recommend this place to anyone looking for a storage unit just because of her amazing customer service.

She was patient and worked tirelessly until the issue was corrected. I can’t say enough good things about Mimi! She deserves a BIG RAISE for her excellent customer service and diligence!! August 2022: After 5 months CubeSmart raised my rate by a whopping 27%...a $52/month increase. This was after the original CubeSmart employee I dealt with said they do not have “teaser” rates.

There were a couple of major issues in our recent experience from this CubeSmart location. We rented a large unit while we transitioned to the area, total rental time ended up being 6.5 weeks. The first major issue was the touting of “free moving truck rental” - it’s not as easy as it sounds. It’s for move-in only and they charge $10 for the first four hours, and $40 for any additional time. This was not communicated well and caused several headaches for our moving day. The second and most important issue occurred at move-out.. we removed all of the items from our unit on the 8th if the month - but paid to have our unit through the 18th. On the 9th, we received an email notification of our completed move out. We did not call anyone or notify any management that we planned to move out (nor did anyone call us!). By the time I called on the 10th, our unit had already been rented away(!). Shocking lack of communication.. if we had decided to continue our rental we would have been out of luck! They do make it VERY clear they they do not prorate units, but I can’t help but feel like we were forced out our unit before we were ready to let it go. Felt this was important for others to know so they can learn from our experience - we are not happy.

I booked a storage unit online a week ago. The next day, someone called me to discuss my need and encouraged me to come in to discuss my needs and get a tour of the property. I walked in and I met Mimi. Mimi is also the manager and she was very welcoming. I told her my budget, why I was moving, and what I looked for. She showed me a few spaces and we found a spot! She discussed the move-in specials and we signed a lease. I left happy. A few days later, after thinking about what I needed, I emailed them to request a bigger space. I was contacted by the store right away and was able to discuss a transfer to a larger unit. Mimi and other staff were amazing and provided excellent customer service.

Been storing things here for about a year and it's served it purpose. Just closed it up and done storing things here and it hasn't ever let me done. The place is well air conditioned for the summer and warm enough for the winter

Used one of the smaller lockers for a month and it was perfect! This facility is very new and extremely clean. The manager is a nice fellow and was very helpful. I will definitely come back if the need arises.

This facility is well kept, clean and easily accessed - however they hike the rent very steeply with only 30 days notice. I received a 10% rate increase and I've only stored items here 5 months. They can do this arbitrarily and there's no limit to their increases, and they can happen multiple times a year.

I should have done this a long time but better late then never. I've had my unit with this facility for over a year now, have nothing negative but positive to say. If you like clean,nice,professional this your PLACE to store your items. GM of the unit nita is the most carring,funny,sweet person. I do not regret my decision at all. Keep doing what your doing nita & staff. YOU ALL ARE AMAZING

Literally THE best customer service around. When we moved in we realized the storage unit we chose would be too small. They immediately switched us to a larger unit without making us go through red tape. The manager even called one evening to tell me that I had put my lock on incorrectly and that she would keep an eye on my unit until I could refigure the lock. On moving out, once I took everything out of storage and took the lock off, CubeSmart automatically cancelled our automatic billing for us.

Friendly and courteous staff. Daniel Kellog was a helpful gentleman. This space is clean, new and well ventilated. The cost was the lowest in this region. On the other hand, they did give me a unit than was different from what I was first shown and it is definitely smaller. They didn't mention the free moving truck so luckily I saw the ad before I missed out on it. I asked about any fees and they said "only the insurance fee" but then they charged a $24 "Admin fee". They also charged $10 Admin Fee for the truck so it wasn't free. There's several late fees in the agreement so just be aware. The space is the cleanest / nicest and cheapest so I went with it. Make sure you ask all the right questions.

Very good at explaining everything to someone who had only rented extra storage space at one other local storage company in the past. They explained the start-renting-your-bin payment and what that included, then showed me the rules and regulations that I needed to be aware of, then explained the monthly payment (and that, like an apartment, you pay for the month ahead, so you had to be careful to think about how much of that next month you might need to pay for), then sold me an excellent lock for the storage bin (I couldn't find the one I'd used at the other storage company), then explained the code that was needed three times (no offense to the other company I used, but they didn't use this much security) and where it was needed, and then took me to the storage bin and let me have a first look at it. This may seem like old hat to long-term users, but it was most gratefully appreciated by me because I consider myself to be inexperienced in comparison. I would definitely use CubeSmart again and recommend it to anyone I know that needs to rent extra storage space.

Professional interactions with staff. This location is has the best layout of all the other locations in the area, and their temp-controlled facility and top-notch layers of security are leaps and bounds above other similar facilities. You can't compare CubeSmart to other storage facilities, they are in a league above the competition.

Form the moment Nita answered the phone to respond to my inquiry, it was a very pleasant experience. I was struck with the professionalism throughout the process of reserving....then to waylaying start time ( on our part).... to our very rainy move in last week of September. The cleanliness of the grounds the office, bathrooms and storage building made it appear as if they had just opened, but since we live not too far away, we knew better. Having the use of t he truck was the "icing"....after checking with Penze and UHaul....and finding it was not only the best deal for us....but the cleanest/easiest experience we've ever had moving! We appreciated having so many supplies available. Although, we didn't think we needed any of them, we ended up using two mirror boxes to store a large TV and we forgot our lock! Thank you, Nita and team,for everything!!

Very positive experience. My first contact was with Cynthia, who was very pleasant, patient and helpful with all my questions. Due to an error on my part I had to reschedule my FREE!!! truck use. I spoke with the manager Nita and had my reservation changed with no muss or fuss. The rates are reasonable and the facility is very clean.

Really good facility. Nice and clean and in the heat of this summer the a/c and climate control keep the inside of the building nice and cool. My only disappointment was there appear to be many storage units of the same size I rented (5x10) closer to the elevator, yet they assigned me a unit almost as far away from the elevator as you can get on the 2nd floor. Maybe it's cause I rented online for a special price. Maybe the 'special internet only price' also includes a long hike from the elevators. Not quite sure. Other than that overall happy with the experience so far. Although it hasn't been a month yet.

My experience at CubeSmart was awesome. I had reserved a unit to start using on Saturday July 9th. I traveled from New Jersey down to Arlington, VA. The office closed at 5PM, and I arrived at the office at about 5:15PM and was afraid I would not be able to get access to my storage unit until the next day. However, CubeSmart employee Cynthia went above and beyond to help us out. She stayed well past 5PM and helped us get everything set up and running smoothly. Never once did I feel as though this was a burden for her. She was extremely friendly, informative, and eager to make my experience be the best it could possibly be. Cynthia provided me with a great first impression of CubeSmart and I will certainly use CubeSmart in the future thanks to Cynthia's dedication and great customer service.

Not sure how or why there are so many high marks. Maybe the manager was ha ving a bad day but wow really short tempered and condescending idk maybe it was cause we are yankee Bostonians and tried to load a unit she wasn't feeling our vibe. Who knows. Btw this was a year ago so maybe staff has changed. I did give the 1 star back then but forgot to comment. Things change and people are funny so hopefully it's not still same thing we experienced

Amazing Service and Facility. This is by far the best experience I've had with any storage facility, or even any moving company or company associated with moving. I just moved out of the country and they've been outstanding to work with, and extremely helpful all along the way. They've even redone the invoice a few times to placate our corporate HR department! The storage facility itself is immaculate as it's brand new. We're the first tenant in the unit. It's safe and secure and easy to access right off of 66. I can't say enough positive things about the facility and especially the management team. They've outdone themselves on hiring smart, helpful personnel. I have to give a special shout out to Cynthia Palacios who has been the point person and if you can work with her, you won't be disappointed. She will be whatever you need to make it right.

While the staff here are very pleasant and the facility is very clean and new, their customer service leaves much to be desired. I wasn't told during my initial inquiry that their insurance was required. I have renters insurance which covers such things but didn't have my policy with me (who carries that around?). The manager said that if I emailed the info, they would take their insurance off. I did that, and they did not hold up their end of the bargain. I checked online, my bill for next month still showed a charge for insurance. I called customer service. They couldn't do anything, but would have the store manager call me about the next month charge, and the district manager call me about the refund. The store manager called and basically said "trust me" about next month's bill (a little hard to do at this point). I heard absolutely nothing from the district manager. They could have gotten 4 hor 5 stars, if it wasn't for this terribly mishandled issue. It seems that nobody nobody at this company is empowered to do anything to insure a happy customer experience.
