I had a wonderful experience at CubeSmart Self Storage!! The staff Treated me well, they explained to me about what options I have about obtaining a unit and also easy access to the floor which is very close to the front doors, is what I like about it as well is the prices which Were very low and something I could afford!! Great service and rented us two units to put our belongings in. Penny, the on site manager, is amazing. Her knowledge and experience regarding the storage you need is pretty accurate. She asks you about the # bedrooms, pictures, packed boxes and outdoor furniture. Then shows you the units that can hold your stuff Great price, super friendly and quick too. Cube smart is climate and security controlled. Great experience !

I moved here from Maryland. Got the storage on a special . Upon trying to ask them to move my payment date so i won’t be late, they told me I had ti pay a month in advance. To move my date (which no storage ever has) not only that but I’m paying later every month . Where they 2 late fee charges. Not one but 2! Then tacked on $110 lien for a missing month, and 2 days later next month grace period. When most send a Leon after 3 month of unpaid. If you ask me they are all about money. I have called and asked numerous time to change my date. And nothing just fees after fees.

Gave two now changed to one. The Gm just hung up on me & prior to me dialing the number right back to give an update phone number she didn't answer the phone the second time it went straight to voicemail I left a message. I'm pretty sure she hung up because I told her last time she told me she was going to put something in the computer she didn't we're all human we make mistakes. But she tried to blame somebody else named Pam when I've only only spoken to a penny ?? I wasn't being rude by any means.

Quick easy experience. Was in and out in a few minutes. The person helping me at the front desk was extremely helpful and guided me through the process nicely. I only wish the RV spots were pull through. It's a tight squeeze with a large camper, but probably the best use of space with what they have.

Penny and Christy (sp?) were amazing. I worked with Christy more and she always went above and beyond to help make sure I was good to go on requests. And Penny did as well...i really felt the whole time there (and leaving) that I was being taken care of and stuff was safe. It wasn't even meant to be more than temporary, but I appreciated the atmosphere so much, I just kept my items there. Huge kudos to this establishment and that team. If all Cubesmarts operate like that and provide that type of support, consider me a fan and loyal customer if one is available when needed.

I’ve previously rented from two different names storage companies but I don’t think either of the companies can compare with Cube Smart. I especially love the fact that these units are easily accessible and all inside so you’re not exposed to the weather...huge benefit in the rain and snow. I also appreciate the price for their units. Penny and Christie both are extremely helpful and friendly. They keep the complex clean and always saying to let them know if we ever need anything. I highly recommend Cube Smart!!

They have a very nice indoor storage facility on route 17 North however the rent goes up every year. I had to close my contract with them after being with them for about 10 years or more due to the high cost. But otherwise very nice staff and a nice facility overall.

Love the ladies who work there. Business there is straightforward -- no stress. But the rent went up $30 a month. That is excessive! I found a much better rate and a bigger size unit with a local family owned storage unit. Raising the rent this much forced me to rethink cube smart. Their security really is not good because any car can get in following your car through the gate and people can get in through the door the same way by stalking you. And the carts are always an issue there. They don’t have enough cards and of the ones they have two of them are so heavy and squeaky that they literally hurt your ears.

Well maintained facility and very professional staff. Took care of a minor issue for me in a wonderful way that saved me hundreds. Free truck (medium-small) to move in with but they charge more than UHaul (by a lot) to rent it by the hour if you move out (ending lease). Carts are a bit rare and noisy as hell. Parking lot poorly paved at the doors where it counts. Still, good temperature control. I had several musical instruments in storage and they all seem fine. No insects anywhere... And I had been there often, moving stuff in and out weekly for 2 years. Overall, excellent service even of the facility has a few of these minor flaws.

Excellent customer care. I had trouble getting the manager on the phone on a Sunday when I needed to stop my automatic payment, but the manager leaves her email address on every receipt I get emailed to me. I emailed her and got a prompt reply, and was helped regarding the payment so I wouldn't incur overdraft fees (just needed a couple more days). She took me off auto pay because they couldnt just change the payment date. But she did say I could drop off a payment or call one in within the grace period and restart auto pay later. No late fee and no NSF fees. Problem solved entirely via email in less than 20 minutes.

The most professional crew I've come across in all my years in the storage business. The managers will take the time and help you with your storage needs whether it's a home or a business. Cristi and Penny were both fantastic walking me through each step to include what I truly needed to pack, how to pack it, and even what was just fluff ! The storage facility is immaculately clean and fresh smelling, not like other places we looked at that were moldy and old smelling ... Most expensive storage facility near me. Facility ok, but Customer service isn't best. No one ever answers phone & they try to sweep issues under table. Leak in unit that got our stuff wet and nothing done to compensate us for delay in being able to move all our other stuff in until it dried out. Been long time renter & Storage rates just keep going up with no consideration to loyal clients. Very unhappy & looking for new facility in area.

Great storage option in the local area. MAIN reason going with them was climate controlled storage. I will say, when it's Virginia heat at 100% humidity & 98° outside, the temperature feels a tad warm inside (vice versa when it 10° out). Not as cool/warm for example if I were storing the items in my own home. Clearly, a very large space for them to manage temp, and clearly not a big enough problem for me to drop a star. :) Hope it helps.

This storage facility is great! Penny was extremely helpful with the space reservation, paperwork processing, etc. And we were taking care of everything near closing time for the office (6:00PM) during a week day. On top of that, we had an active tornado warning (Yes, warning) going on! She didn't quit working on the paperwork, and I was able to store my property shortly thereafter. Amazing customer service, Penny went above and beyond all expectations! The facility is secure with CCTV, access code to enter/exit, and very reasonable access hours. Furthermore, the monthly fees are much better than other locations along the Rte 17 (Warrenton Rd corridor in Fredericksburg). I certainly shopped around and am saving a considerable amount of money every month! The facility, and more importantly the staff, are highly recommended!

This place is the worst. Every time you call them you get no answer and the phone just ring and ring and then start making a fax machine noise. Funny how when you owe them money they will call you several times but when you contact them no answer. I have pulled up to CubeSmart during their working hours to see the sign on the door say "CLOSED" only because all the employees want to walk over to the Dollar General located next door to them. I have found rats in my unit along with other bugs.
