I would leave zero stars if I could. Our experience renting from this location was bad from the start. No one was there to meet us and help us find our unit. They tried to upsell us to the newer building and refused to take no for an answer. Our unit had broken glass on the floor when we moved in, which means it wasn't even cleaned from the previous tenant. During our few months there, mice ended up moving into the unit (we had nothing that would attract them), and there were droppings in the hallways, too. We ended up having to toss most of what we'd stored due to damage or droppings. We're still waiting for our renters insurance claim to process. This location refused to take any responsibility, and the general help desk never even emailed is back. Do not rent from here.

storing with them was not a particularly enjoyable experience. the management is frustrating. many services they claimed to offer were unavailable. the prices are ridiculously overblown. accessibility can be difficult. policies are not communicated well, if at all. the facility itself is clean, well-kept, and secure (if overly so) and the stars it receives are for that.

Mimi and her team at the Vienna Mill Street location were extremely helpful. The facility is clean, well-located and highly secure. I recommend the in-person move in process, since then you can make sure the storage unit is adequate for your needs and you know where to go when you physically need to move your things. The facility is extremely busy on the weekends, so go during the week if you can!

We live in consumerist times. How else do you explain how I ended up with all this stuff. My belongings used to fit in two suitcases that were easily within the baggage limit for long-haul flights. Now I need help for all this extra stuff I have accumulated, thanks to just being alive. That's when Cube Smart came to the rescue. I wanted to store my things safely, comfortably but inexpensively as well. A tall order. But they were up to the challenge. Cube Smart advised me on how to think about my items, how to modularize them in my mind for efficient storage. They were proactive, calling me to check on things. In the end, I am a happy customer. I will definitely come back again. I just have some shopping to do.

My financee and I reserved a large unit and needed to update our move in date after the reservation went through. We emailed/called CubeSmart and they returned our call. On the call the Manager reviewed what we planned to store and recommended a smaller, cheaper unit. Thank goodness because the original size would have been twice what we needed. We met with Adam who showed us a unit and updated our reservation to the smaller unit. Then we moved in on Aug. 10th. The manager on duty at that time was also super friendly and quickly processed our payment and we moved it. We later realized we hadn’t been charged for our full lease term and the same manager took extra time to help fix our lease and we paid for a longer period. He was super friendly despite it being late in the day right before closing. Excellent customer service that went above and beyond! Highly recommend the Vienna, VA location. Unit and building (older building) were clean and easy to access. Flatbed carts made moving in many boxes super easy.

Great service. Only a 4 star because being in the old building you have to walk to new building just for restrooms because none in old building, and the front desk in old building is never staffed. Also zero service in the old building entirely so if people are coming to help you move they cannot contact you unless you are outside.

I moved in to my new unit on Tuesday evening 4/23 and had an issue that was going to be a deal breaker for me keeping my unit i had just purchased. I called first thing Wednesday morning to let the staff know and spoke with the manager and my issue was taken care of right away and they went above and beyond to make sure i was happy. I rented a storage unit with Christian yesterday, and he was very courteous, professional and patient. He showed me different sized units and carefully explained how the rental works. It is a very clean, well-maintained facility, and there are dollies available for customers to use (which isn’t always a given at other storage facilities).

It's very clean, safe & smells like fresh paint. Units are big enough with plenty of options. It's hard to find the stairwell in case of emergency. I got stuck in the elevator & the staff were so so helpful & continued to check in on me. I recently rented a locker and was amazed at all the hidden fees and charges that emerged as the process progressed. The truck outside is advertised as being free with a locker rental and when I inquired about it, I was told that there was an "administrative fee" to pay. Where is the free part?
