Bait and switch practices... Rates increased by 25% after a month of renting. Move out was 4 days after payment of the last month but you don't get a partial refund. Facility was ok and staff were very pleasant. I will consider different options if I need storage again.

As the moving truck was being loaded in Michigan, we realized we would need a storage unit. I contacted 1-2 other places before I found CubeSmart. Rachael called within in an hour of my online request. She was absolutely fantastic every time I spoke to her and Answered all of my questions, nearly all before I even asked them. She clearly noted the date I said we would be moving in and called after to ask how things had gone and if we needed to change the date or size of the unit. Rachael conveyed genuine care about our moving experience and a desire to ensure that our needs would be met at CubeSmart. The facility is easy to access, very clean, and well kept. The unit itself is exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

My truck is all loaded up with stuff to put in storage and my gate key code doesn't work. Building is closed and I cant reach anyone, this is great! Very convenient! I guess it's super secure since even paying customers can't get in... Edit: After 30min on hold with customer assistance I finally got a temp pass code that worked.

MS. STACEY (property manager) AND MS. RACHEL (office associate) These two really made a stressful situation (moving,packing,unloading, the extra bill every month just using any storage i.e. finance stress, renting over priced trucks) a breeze. Stacey and Reachel were 100% on their game running this place. Hepful from start too vacant. I've used same location in 2019 for short time an remembered a bettter exsperience than self storage, ughh! 2021, I returned moving cities. As a single mom trying to hold her own each day, these two made "storage" in general an ease. Very professional, imformative, kind + reasonable. Thankful to met genuinely good employess in my lifetime. If I need storage again I'll come back even moving out of state to this cubsmart (Warrenton VA) Ha!!! CubeSmart lures you in with a free month, and a 15% off deal. But--the agent can't tell you how long the deal lasts, or what your rate will be once the promotion ends. The agent seemed to have difficulty understanding why I was frustrated with this payment arrangement. Also, I still don't understand why you are required to carry insurance to cover the loss of your items. If they want to sell me something and I don't want it, why can't I just refuse to buy that item?

I noted how clean, organized and efficient this location is managed - office, grounds, interior facility, etc. In my mil career, I've used numerous storage facilities, short and long term, and this site is at the top for being well operated and pricing. Stacy, the GM, and staff are very kind and super polite! Glad I selected this location to trust with my household storage! Update: after a month and consolidating two storage units to my original large climate controlled unit I am still impressed by the management! I have not experienced any issues at all during my many comings and goings during all hours and days through this COVIS season. All operations at the facility are running very well! Thank you!

I never thought I would ever be using a storage facility! I am so thankful to have Cube Smart at the Warrenton, across from Walmart, location. The ladies there are so great! They look out for me, let me know when my bill is due, if I am late, etc... They have helped me so much in the almost 2 - 3 years I have been there !! The facility is clean and safe, except.. THERE IS A DOOR that needs a new Magnet to hold open! Please fix it ! :)

I'd prefer not to leave a negative review because this place has generally been very professional and reliable. But after unloading my unit, I discovered that most of my things were covered in mold. There seems to have been a LOT of moisture in the air in the building because a box of super baking soda that I had in my unit had swollen and burst at the seams. Apart from the damage and expense (salvaging what I could but throwing away lots), my major frustration has been that neither CubeSmart nor the property insurance company has responded to my inquiries, which I sent in four weeks ago. I feel like this must be an anomaly situation for CubeSmart, so here's hoping they'll make it right sooner rather than later. UPDATE: Approximately three months after moving out of my unit and finding that everything was covered in mold / mildew, I am still waiting for compensation and closure. The manager at this location was very responsive when I was finally able to get in touch and seemed genuinely concerned about my situation, but nothing has happened since our exchanges, and the insurance company (Great American) through which I had a policy has not pushed my case forward. If anyone is considering getting a unit - I'd be wary of the efficacy of "climate control" here and would find another company to insure your belongings.
