This is one of a series of stories we are sharing to show what’s inside CubeSmart. You not only get a peek inside our customer’s storage unit, but also a peek inside what is important to them. Thank you to Veronica Suder, a customer of our CubeSmart store in Dallas, for sharing her story with us.
Veronica Suder likes to stay busy. She started her career as a lawyer, but health issues forced early retirement. After retiring from her career in law, Veronica became a nanny working in families’ homes. Her CPR certifications and interest in children drew in families.
While the kids were napping, she would take a break from nanny duties and perform light housework along with organizing supplies in the homes. Moms loved what they saw when they returned home. That’s what sparked Veronica’s idea for her own cleaning business.
Elite Cleaning Services eventually grew into a full-time operation for Veronica. With the cleaning business growing, she knew that she needed storage. While on a walk one afternoon, Veronica happened upon the CubeSmart storage at 2711 Cedar Springs Road. She walked in on the spot. She immediately noticed the facilities offered special features like moving carts, roll-up doors, and drive-up access storage units, making use of a storage facility for her business more efficient.
After touring the facility and seeing that CubeSmart storage met her needs, Veronica rented a unit for storage that day. She felt good knowing that the facilities offered video monitoring and other premium services that would allow her to focus on her business, rather than worry about her storage space.
She currently has three storage units where she stores all her cleaning products, tables, and parking spots. Her cleaning service brings their own products to the homes and businesses they clean. She especially loves that the CubeSmart facility is climate controlled during the extreme Texas heat.
Today Veronica has several teams working under her, but she is very much a part of the cleaning business.
“My favorite part is meeting with the customers. I love sitting down with them and talking about their needs.”
“We are a family,” she says. “In fact, my workers frequent our cube weekly. We feel very safe and secure here.”
Veronica is extremely grateful for her business and her community. Her passion shows in her willingness to help and care for others and their homes.
We’d love to hear how self storage has positively impacted your life. Share your #HumansofSelfStorage story in the comments.
